Hey folks ,
1. I own a SM-N915F which is running on 6.0.1 stock TW with TWRP and SU. I was looking for a custom kernal that I can flash on my device . I am kinda beginner so I thought it would be better to ask ya experts before I select something foolish and brick my phone . Hope ya guys are not gonna ignore my question (coz it might sound silly to ya guru's).
2. I would love to install viper4android on my device ( one of the main reason I love to root my phone ) but on my stock 6.0.1 I am unable to Install the drivers needed for viper4android to work . I have busy box installed . can anybody guide me on how to do it
This is my first post on XDA mainly coz I am a non-native English speaker .. so if you are unable to understand any part of my question please let me know

I just have a question and need some help....yes I have searched and searched but still no answer...
Anywayz anytime I try to enter any comand in either the terminal emulator or the recovery console it says that I do not have root access...but I am pretty positive that I do have root access...I am able to load all sorts of ROMs...I could be wrong...as I stated I am a newb to android hacking/or otherwise...please respond kindly.
would love to be able to help but I am an even bigger noob than you when it comes to android. I dont even have an android "approved" phone. I have the rhodium build. which is great and I love it and as soon as they get the speaker options fixed where i can use ringtones and junk - i am so switching to android.
"Android" phones Rawx....lol....imo Android is the greatest phone OS available....so many features and options...I am so new to this hacking stuff so i need help terribly...lol....By the way to all that are willing to help me I can research what spl,radio, and etc when needed...I dont know what they are off hand....so if ya need to know please ask me and I will respond a.s.a.p........ the phone I currently have is the T-Moble G1.....so please help this newb out...

I had a similar issue on my Samsung BH 2. I had to reinstall the Superuser.apk
Worked for me, maybe it'll work for you.
im running a samsung moment with 2.1 and i had to run an update script to gain root. most the roms i have seen dont root your phone you need to run i scipt like i had to or use the superuser app. there is a link to that somewhere on here just not sure where sorry

This is my first post on this forum so please don't be too hard if i make mistakes .
I own a Ac Ryan Veolo ,
Its a media player with android 2.2 (Froyo) .
I am following the development on the XBMC app for android when there was an apk released . Offcourse i tried to install on my Veolo because the Veolo lacks a good and complete media player app and XBMC would just be awesome but sadly it didn't work .
What's the deal XBMC only runs on android 2.3 and higher .
And with AC Ryan Europe going bankrupt earlier this year i have truly no hopes of getting updates from them .
So now i wanted to flash a custom rom on the Veolo .
I already did this once om my phone (LG 2x Speed) which was pretty easy trough the rommanager app .
Here's is the problem the rommanager app doesn't work on the Veolo because it's not supported .
Now i was wondering wich kind of tutorial i could follow to flash a custom recovery and after that a clean android 4.0 rom .(or 2.3)
I would really appreciete it to get some advice on this .
Here are some technical specs of the Veolo :
Hardware
•Hisilicon Hi3716C 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 with Floating Point Unit
•JAVA Hardware Acceleration

I forgot to mention that Ac Ryan realesed the kernel of the Veolo and i already have it stored on my pc .
But i dont really know what to do with it but i thougt maybe smart to mention it .:laugh:

I know this question has been asked i've readed that topic aswell .
But nobody gave a solution to out problem .
I still dont know how to get android 4 on my Veolo .

Timbo, if you figured it out. Please let me know, I have been looking around also. But unfortunatelly I am a real noob at this. So it is mostly hocus pocus what I am reading.
GooManager
you can get custom recovery using GooManager
Just download from PlayStore
Then press menu and choose Install OpenRecovery.
It should be able to flash the recovery on your device, and if you are lucky it might be able to find you a ROM.
and I mean reeeall lucky.

And i had a android 4.0,3 so i root phone and uptade phone on a 4.0.4 then on 4.1.2 But i found there is a way to have a S-VOICE on my phone,but when i want to install him it writes Application is not installed. And somewhere was a solution,-Root the phone,but i dont know how to roon my phone when i have a jelly bean,cuz i dont want to brick my phone so please answer me if is there any way to dont brick my phone , and have a s voice tyvm
I'm new to this all too, but I would suggest reading through the thread / website of the ROM that you installed. Maybe someone else has made an installer for S-VOICE.
Does your ROM use AROMA to install extra apps? Maybe it's listed in there?

1.Google it for how to root Galaxy S Plus , or YouTube it !!
2.Search it in Here !! , btw i was a Noob like you , and still noob , but i search 1st before i post , it's like think before your do !!

I tried, I put the root-i9001-signed.zip in the SD card folder. I turned it on with volume up and power button, but I am not getting the android with the box logo, it just boots normally.
How can I fix this?

I know its very old phone, but its my bros phone and hes a little kid and he dont need anything good. But default android version and theme ir horible. I alredy rooted phone but i cant find any custom roms for ir. Is there any? I prefere 5.0 android version. But give me anything. i just want stock android, not that horible theme.
