i just bought this phone in used, but i am getting problem of not registered on network,i am unable to send any sms or doing phone calls,i upgrade the software to marshmallow 6.0,,but problem still there,, i check this phoen IMEI on web @ IMEI.INFO there showing my phone modal number sm-910u instead of sm-910f is there a IMEI problem with my phone or something else ??? need help !!!!!!!!!!!!

My mobile (SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE GT N-7000 ) not getting signal.... some times it is getting 1 or 2 points but when i tried to make a call it is showing " NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK"..... My SIM working in all other mobiles.. But all other SIM cards not working in my mobile.....
It woked fine before. I gave my mobile in samsung care to repair my mic.... they repaired mic but when i take my mobile back and attempt to make a call for first time its showing "NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK".... I immediately showed them... they said its the problem of My sim card, But after I tried with many sims it is not working..... Help me how to fix it...... Is it a software problem or Hardware problem.....
you may need to get the carrier APN settings reinputed into the phone, without the carrier settings the phone will not connect to the data & sometimes with have issues with other connections.
hy guys a have a very big problem with my sgs3 (I9300) running official android jelly bean 4.3 international model, the problem is i'm not able to make a connection to mobile networks but wifi works very well, every time i try to make a phone call it shows a message "not registred on network" and i cannot accept phone calls from friends or family and i can't benifit from 3G networks.
this problem appears evt i flash a custom rom last time i take it to the person who selt me the phone and he sais that the problem cannot be fixed just with the "octoplus box" and it costs 10 dollars to fix it , is there any solution i'm waiting your answer

Sounds like it's a bad imei, need a carrier to fix it or possibly the box mentioned.
PLEASE HELP-i recently bought A Samsung Galaxy S5 gm-900f and am having network problems.the IMEI code which displays when i inquire using *#06# is different from the one on the back of the battery.I can make calls or receive text messages but i can not i access the INTERNET using mobile data because the signal strength is very low and it frequently disconnects.

Thanks for using XDA Assist For All IMEI queries kindly visit nearest Samsung Service Center and let them rectify it , since IMEI is very sensitive and important data please do not try to modify or experiment with it. let service center fix it

I bought a samsung galaxy S7 from a friend. He sold me in cheap price and said its a demo phone and only sim will not work...
I used it and enjoyed it, but after 3 4 month, another friend of mine saw my cell phone and he said its not a demo phone... You can workout and will be able to make calls....
Now I searched and tried lots of thing, not successful yet.
Please help me and let me know, do I really have a demo phone, or somthing physically wrong with the set and it can work...
My phone do not show ANY SIGN of DEMO phone, not when it starts, not in the setting, not in the main menu... NO WHERE...

Sounds like a corrupted EFS partition. Do you know if its ever been rooted or anything like that?
Check in Download Mode to see which model S7 it is, the demo phone S7 model is G930X

Turn the phone off, then press and hold vol down + power + home, this boots it into download mode. In the top right is a bunch of phone info, including model. That model will tell you if its demo or not.

Hello, so recently I bought a second samsung galaxy s7 (G930FD made in indonesia) I'm livin indonesia too. So, I have some problems. When i got the phone it had android 6.0. Everything worked fine, the sim, ussd codes, 3G internet. But status Phone is Custom, i can't upgrade via OTA and i trying upgrade via Odin
After that, i`ve upgraded to android 7.0 via Odin. I downloaded an official android for verizon s7 number PDA G930FXXS2DRAB, Now, with android 7.0, I've signal and strength but emergency call only, i can`t call any USSD codes (for example *200# that is the code for checking my sim balance). It just shows that it calls the ussd code and then says that the number is incorrect. Also, i can`t connect to the internet. I tried to find the Acces Point Names, but they are nowhere (like this function was deleted).
Also, in my settings app, i have 2 unknown options. T roaming and Service provider Giga LTE, KT twophone service and whenether i enter them, my settings app just crashes and it wants to restart it.
Please help me!
Have you tried connecting using 2G only if you can get to a place that sets the network? I had similar on my S4 and if I used dialer codes to force 2G it would connect, allow calls and allow EDGE data. I never resolved the issue but the best I could find out was the EFS/modem was corrupted or incorrect so it can't communicate on 4g.
This also happened after a 6.0.1 to 7.1.2 upgrade though I'm not sure it's the same as I don't think the S4 supported Nougat officially. I gave up when I went to a local phone shop who were apparently an authorised Samsung service centre but didn't have the tools to repair/replace the EFS (or anything else so it seemed).

Now my phone is already in service centre, I am advised to wait, technician sams looking samsung galaxy S7 is usualto copy data then put into my handphone
