Hi everybody and specially the moderators. Attention seeking for this particular device
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active SM-G890A which is released exclusively by AT&T.
Now this is a very different device than standard S6 or S6 Edge or S6 Edge Plus, still there is not a separate section for this device. Henceforth requesting the moderators/admin of XDA family to create a separate section for this device. The devices's thread is post under normal S6 due to which the device is loosing attention by the ROM modders, and its been ages since we S6 active users are waiting for a root for this device. This device was released by AT&T with standard 5.0.2 and now been updated to 5.1.1. I am willing to provide the stock rom of both version. Any other areas where the community feels is lacking info for this device due to which it hasn't earned a separate section, I am willing to provide all the bits. So kindly look into the request and create a separate section for this device.
Awaiting the root badly....
Eh, not sure if you noticed, but there is a separate S6 Active section now. It was created two weeks back or so...
Where's that main section? All I can see is a sub-section as the topic creator stated: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/galaxy-s6-active

I meant that subsection, which is already much better than before when we were just part of the S6 section
Why is it that Sprint phones (S6 Edge+), (S7 Edge), always have a hard time getting Rooted? Or the fact that when ya'll, (Developers), do figure out a way to root or cone up with Roms, out of no where you "jump ship" or don't come up with a decent Rom that actually works? I thought a challenge was what ya'll looked for. I'm not being mean, just wish i could root my S7 Edge that i bought from Sprint and put an awesome Rom on too. Ya'll never respond to my messages anyways, so i doubt i will EVER hear anything about this...

So a month and a half ago I found a galaxy s7 in the street, since then I've advertised online and around town and have only got responses from thrives. After waiting long enough I've decided to try unlock it myself as it is blocked by the original owner, I was wondering if there is anyway of resetting it by fast boot commands or any other way ? Please help, shame to let such a good phone go to waste.

Hi
I want to ask why XCover forums are missing?
And why Devdb is gone?
Thanks
It's a good question! There's been a major rearrangement with the result being the usual mess when things that weren't broke get "fixed"
If it's anywhere it'll be in here?

Hello everyone
I asked this question in the Samsung Galaxy S9, but got no replies. It seems similar questions have been asked there and got the same response. Trying a broader audience now.

Hello everyone. This is my first post on XDA, and I'm something of a noob, but eager to learn more.
Ok, so I haven't rooted a phone for 7 or 8 years, and there's certainly more to worry about now. I managed to get it rooted with Magisk, but I'm struggling to get the Secure Folder app to work, same with the Non-Samsung alternatives Island and Shelter.
I've tried to use the Smali Patcher but no luck.
I spent most of yesterday hunting around for a solution but got nowhere really. So my questions:
1. Is there a current known workaround with the stock ROM
2. Is there a custom ROM that is known to fix the problem?

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered a thousand times. I just haven't got anymore time to spend trawling through forums for a while.
