Hi,
I'm currently running CM13 with a Samsung Galaxy theme on a Oneplus One phone. I am trying to find how I could adjust/modify the font shadow, which, even if enabled in the theme settings, is hardly visible and not diffused. It's simply for aesthetics reason. If anyone could point me in the right direction where I could ask, that would be great.
Thank you.

Good day users and developers....
I am curious to know if someone has created a widget where you can with one touch enable and disable all location services??
I'm currently running stock but will be rooting soon .... just got the phone a month ago, came from an LG G2X.
If you could guide me to the right direction or tell me how moronic i am, i would greatly appreciate it... LOL
As always, you guys are awesome

This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but on Nova Launcher you can add a shortcut to Location access where you can easily switch it off. To do this you long press on home screen>Shortcuts>Settings shortcut>Location access and it will add a shortcut to your screen. It will take two clicks instead of one, but it's better than going all the way through the settings I guess.
Yup. That's so something that has always irritated me too. It's a great idea and would be good tied into the existing toggles.

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for a kid friendly ROM to put onto my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Ideally I want something very easy and simple to use. My five year old daughter will use it primarily, but she will also share the tablet with her three year old sister.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Davo
There is an xposed module that can make it to where only certain applications can be used unless the unlock code is entered Tk did a video on it on XDA developers YouTube
Install any kitkat rom so you will be able to make restricted profiles
Hi All,
Thanks for your suggestions, I will definitely investigate further.
However I am also wondering if there are any custom ROMS specifically designed for children? Perhaps ones with large 'kid friendly buttons'.
Kind Regards,
Davo
Examples of what I have in mind -

Hi All,
I just realized that I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, so thankfully I can use [ROM] [T210R/T210] KidzRom by gr8nole UPDATED with more languages.

Hello,
I've a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphone and I'm looking for a friendly compass use, which could indicate the direction of manually entered coordinates.
Thank you
No one can help???
What a pity

Hi, sorry but this section is not really a help desk but a place to guide members where to look for answers themselves. As your question is more of a General Android question you should try Android Q&A section or I am sure you have already tried searching Google Play for all Compass apps.
Hope you find what you are looking for.
Hi. I have just installed the latest update this week and feel very disappointed. I have lost my lovely watery fluid screensaver and have searched through settings to find it. There doesn't appear to be any settings at all for any choice of wallpapers except for the bright gaudy colours that are compulsory with the update. I had to download a new keyboard that I liked too.
Can anyone help me reinstate the previous wallpaper or point me in the right direction. Please be kind as I have no idea what most of you are talking about. Some simple instructions would be most appreciated.
Thank you

Hi xda-community,
i recently got two new android devices the lenovo tab 2 a7-30h and the samsung galaxy grand prime (sm-g531f). Now to my question: is it possible to make the hole interface or atleast the homescreen (including icons and such) the same across both devices? I read about something called "loaders" maybe you guys could suggest me the best one for my kind of needs?
Thanks in advance for any answers i get.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
What you are looking for is a common "launcher." I can think of a few.
The "best one for my kind of needs" is very subjective, and I don't even know what your needs are, except for a consistent experience. The Play Store has many more, but the links above should give you a good start (can try the Google Now Launcher first).
Hope this helps, and good luck!
