It it possible to change any App Resolution?
I tried Subway Surfers on my Mate 7 (1920x1080) but after I start the game, the resolution looks like it is downscaled.
After I use CheatDroid to see the Preferences, I saw that the Resolution was 1280x720, so only HD.
But my Display supports Full HD (1920x1080), so my Question is, can I change the Ingame resolution for any Games with NO GRAPHIC SETTINGS ?
Btw i also tried to change the values to Full HD but i saw no differences and after closing the game and going back to CheatDroid, the Values have been set to default.

Hi,
I bought the k1 and rooted it using your tutorials but as I record gameplay to youtube I get the nasty black sides as the native resolution is 1920x1200 I have tried to change it using some apps on google playstore but without sucess it messes up with the controls and the whole system gets messed up.
So as I new to android devices user (ex-iOS ) user I migrated to android but the screen resolution is bugging me is there a way to chage it to native youtube videos 1920x1080?
Thanks
And if you asked I tried different recording softwares and they all fall into de same problem
Native resolution is the resolution of the screen, then you can't do it....
1920x1200 is 16:10 resolution, then i think you can't use a 16:9 like 1920x1080
Hello,
I want to know if it is possible to optimize the resolution of android games?
I have a galaxy tab android S2 and some games have too low a resolution. It's like 400x300 on a 2K device.
Thx
I believe the reason of that is because this particular games are not optimized for your device. I doubt you can do anything about it.
is there a way to "simulate" another device ?
What I was about to say was that it's not the matter of the device model but it's the matter of the screen size and density. The system performs scaling and resizing of the application to make it work on different screens. However, scaling can result in blurry or pixelated graphics. To avoid this problem, the developer of the app should provide alternative resources (bitmap images, etc.) for different densities (i.e. optimize the application for different screen sizes and densities). If this wasn't done, the application is simply stretched to fit the screen that results in poor graphics quality.
And if i root the tablet to use an app that changes the DPI and resolution of the device.
Do you think the game will also change the resolution to improve it?
I don't know if this will work. Maybe someone else knows.
Hi,
As the users of this device know, Avegant supplied frame packed 3D for this device. I'm trying to use this option effectively in Windows but I have some problems.
I have a GTX 1080 Ti graphics card and a Dell 27" monitor attached via display port.
I'm using HDMI port to connect to Glyph.
I watched HSBS content with this device successfully before the update. But the quality was not very good ( because of SBS resolution is cut in half )..
For example with 1280x720 HSBS, there is 640x720 image per eye and the resulting image is not very good.. Even if the original video is 1920x1080 HSBS, because display resolution is 1280x720, it's first downscaled to 1280x720 and displayed same as the 1280x720 HSBS.
So, now I'm trying to use Stereoscopic Player to display HSBS video as frame packed with no success.. As you may guess, with frame packed it's possible to play 1920x1080 HSBS as 1280x720, upscaled from 960x1080 ( yeah there's a small ratio problem but I could fix it ).
First of all I'm using Nvidia 3d play as output, and set it to display on glyph when played full screen when stereo option is enabled.
I ran the setup wizard on Nvidia control panel and enabled 3D successfully. Something occurred though... Before when I set the desktop resolution to 1280x720 with 3D enabled, Windows displayed flipping menu items in 3D, now it's not. I also ran Trine game from Steam, and the Stereoscopic settings are disabled there also. I could also see that the image is not in 3D. So it actually works while setting up, but after that there are no effects in anywhere. It doesn't kick in.
What could be wrong and how could I fix this?
Hi, I am just playing around with the settings in gamebooster and have the feeling that something isn't working correctly.
For example:
I edit settings (resolution) of Super Mario Run and save the settings.
Then I reopen the game, but after that I can't press anything in the game (no recognition of touch input)
Then I have to reboot the phone.
Kill the game from Multitask-Windows doesn't help.
Moreover Mario Run is listed as a 120Hz compatible game on Razer homepage. But with 120hz it stutters on my device. Have to set it to 60hz.
Do your game work correctly if you edit settings and reopen the game?
And how do you configure your Game Booster?
I'm using the custom settings and also experience odd behaviour. When switching resolution with summoners war I can't close menus via the x-buttons. They're simply not touchable.
I don't have to restart the phone for changes to take effect.
I did further testing. Yes, the only problem is switching resolution. It only works if the in game booster selected resolution is the same as the resolution in device settings.
Otherwise something is wrong with touch input.
And yes, reboot is not needed after change of game booster settings.
For summoners war only the 1440p resolution works even though I use 1080p as system setting.
So, it seems that some game have problems with resolution change in game booster.
3D rendered games seems so work with a resolution change, but some of my 2D games (like mario run) dont work with a resolution change.
Moreover:
Is antialiasing on, when the slider is on the left (greyed out) or the right (green)? (The description is a bit confusing).
Moreover do you see a optical difference between on and off? I cannot see a difference.
have some old games that I have been playing for many years. Some of them are not even available in Play Store anymore.
The issue is that some of these games do not adapt well to widescreen; the top par of the game gets cutoff. One game where this becomes an issue is Angry Birds. Sometimes there are structures that are beyond the screen and it becomes difficult to aim for them without being able to see them.
Is there any way to force specific aspect ratio for certain games/apps? I have a rooted Android phone, so am open to suggestions that require root.
no until android support gpu scaling
In rooted devices there are ways to change resolution and aspect ratio with it, but is there way to open a one centrain app (game) in specyfic aspect ratio ( i mean to simulate screen size with black borders in 4:3) without changing whole device resolution?
Is there any way to put black borders in 4:3 ascpect ratio?
