I've had my Huawei G8 for about 9 months now and during that time I've never had an update, I'm still running EMUI 3.1 and Lollipop 5.1, my build number is RIO-LC629B140. I've tried the manual updates but it just says "fail Software Install." Please help me I'm desperate for answers.

Hey guys I have upgraded my honour 6 H60- L04 2.3 , 109 to emui 3 B370 not satisfied with it and wanted to downgrade to again 2.3,109 . I have used the 3 bottom method and also the local update method, but every time I try its showing error ,can't update please help .

Hello guys, I have couple simple questions (for you maybe), I haven't been able to find the answer. I bought a Huawei Honor 4C from Kazahstan app 3 weeks ago. I was able to upgrade to android 5.1.1 (CHM-U01C10B310) I would like to upgrade again to android 6. Could anyone please help me with the build number I need to download? I already downloaded a bunch of builds, with the hope one of them would install. I couldn't find any good answer online (I can or I cannot upgrade to Marshmallow).

Mate 8 general Forum is where you'll find your answer but be careful. You may get a lot of battery drain. I updated to nougat and didn't like it at all because of battery drain. Downgraded to emui 4.1 and although it's a little better, im still getting battery drain so I'm downgrading again back emui 4.

Im new on this forum. Thanks for your Help in Advance!
I bought a used Huawei Mate 9 MHA-AL00 ( Chinese Version). Price was good condition like new.
Now I tried to upgrade from Android 7.0 EMUI 5.0 to Android 8.0 EMUI 8.0.
The Problem is this phone doesnt have the update system option in the settings. If I search for updates it show up but wont open when I press on it.
After all I thought okay, i can still flash it from sd card. I downloaded several versions which promissed to upgrade my phone. I followed the steps from youtube videos and forums. Press Volum Up and Down and Power Button but i always run into this error "Software install failed! Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package"
Im not sure what the previes owner did with the device, its currently not rooted...
I would like to update the device to the latest version. In Advance i would also like to get the auto update option back but its also okay for me to update it manually.
