Try sultan rom, i used to face similar issue but once i installed sultan's rom it started working fine ( or if you have twrp recovery try wiping dalvin and cache)
or some one posted some temporary solution on oneplus forums , try this (i am copy pasting the same)
I encounter the same problem with charging time and input amp after Marshmallow update. I use Battery Monitor Widget app and notice that the current flow range from 500-900mah, which means only 50% from the adapter potential and make the charging process twice longer and at the same time the phone doesn't generate too much heat while charging.
I did factory reset, clean install the system, change the cable, format the cache partition but the problem still exist.
Later I found the solution,
1. Install the Battery Monitor Widget app to monitor the charging amp history.
2. Leave the phone charge for a while.
3. If the current flow only range from 500-900mah, unplug the charge adapter and plug it in again.
4. Leave the phone to charge again so the Battery Monitor app can record the charging amp.
5. Keep doing the same process until you get 1000+ mah.

Check if the power socket is proper also if the cable that you are using is not getting degraded. if so try with some other good quality cable and it should be back to quicker charging. Also as old your phone gets slower its charging will be due to chemical processes in a battery.

If you are rooted install Synapse app from marketplace . Go to miscellaneous section and change ac power level value to 2000 .

I have to agree with flashing another ROM.
Try jgcaaps' Marshmallow build from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/rom-cm-12-builds-t3045053
Then download Kernel Adiutor mod from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/kernel-adiutor-mod-singularity-kernel-t3333549
Set up the ROM then the Kernel mod next.
Run the Adiutor Mod and click the 3 line menu.
Scroll down to Power & Battery.
Change the AC Charge Level to 1800.
Change the USB Charge Level to 800.
These charge levels are ideal to extend the battery life. I hope this helps.

Try another decent cord. The cord I got with my oneplus power bank thing started charging very slowly a few months ago so I threw it away and started using the USB I got with my nexus 7. It works just as well as it used to now

Battery -6 hours charging - 49%! What is wrong?

I have another problem with battery. I charge TP for 6 hours. after that time it still showing CHARGING, round light bimkning and when I enter battery, it shows 50-70% and charging! when I make soft reset it show full and stop charging, anyone knows how to fix this?, I'm worring about my battery I have oryginal rom. Thanks for reply.
I know that it is in other tread but I try to find solution
Are you using the supplied charger?
This happened to me when I tried to charge it with a Motorola V3 charger.
yes, the original charger is one amper powered which is very strong, all other chargers I have in my car or whereever output much smaller amount in milliampers (starting from 200 mA even). BUT never forget that slower charging is always better to preserve battery durability

oryginal delivered with TP
How long did you charge it the very first time?
dificult to say, i thing over 8 hours, but battery is really ok, it keeps 2-4 days.
i think i got close to an hour wait for 3/4ths charge
so prob about an hour and a half for max???
I had this same problem yesterday. It was at 30% after 4 or 5 hours of charging, then after I reset it, it was at 100%...
had same prob. Fixed after hard reset

HARD reset help
I had this problem and was hesitant to do a hard resent and have to reload and re-enter all my settings.
Turns out I was charging through USB that was connected to a cheap hub that didn't supply enough power to charge the phone. Connecting my sync-USB cable straight to the computer fixed it all.
Silly oversight but it might help somebody with the same issue.
hmm, mine started doing this a few days ago...i do remember I used to have the usb charge hooked up directly to the computer but i noticed it was now connected to the usb hub. Let's hope hooking it directly to the computer fixes it...i can't rmember when i switched it to the hub ;p
EDIT:
yep, connecting it directly to the computer fixed it
Thanks!
even charging throught eh computer is slower than plugging it into teh wall. the usb charging only sends SOME of the power to the phone and therefore takes much more time than charging through a wall outlet...
Same thing happened to my wife's TP. Using Stock 1.90. When charging it would reach 85% and stop there irregardless of how many hours I charged it after that but after using the TP car charger it would resume the charge and reach 100%. So the TP would be normal for a few days and then the same problem would occur. Don't know why though but I would use the car charger to normalise it as soft resetting doesn't work.
Where as I'm using the Stock 5.05 euro without any probs....
i to have been having problems with battery life, and ive noticed as previously mentioned a significant differance between usb and mains charging. i charge my tp every night and last month i started to leave it on the usb rather than putting it on the mains in the bedroom. it was then i noticed a drastic drop in batterly life, after a full day at work (12hr approx) and average use ( txts/emails/games/vids) i wa left with only 10-15% battery. but when i returned to mains charging the same usage now leaves me with 45-55% battery. so now i just stick to mains charging through the night. just my 2 cents
This is what solved my problems...
Turn off your phone and plug it in to the wall, wait until it is fully charged. Then you can turn your phone on, and use it like you regularly would, but use it until you run out of battery, I mean 0%, it turns off randomly. Don't charge it again till it's fully drained.
Then fully charge it again, this time don't plug the phone back in until it reaches 1 or 2%.
Hope that helps!

yep, that's because the USB does not deliver the full power to teh device. that's why charging it via the supplied charger is much more efficient and powerful and lasts longer. USB should not be used to charge unless necessary for this reason
I had the same problem with I first got my Fuze. I even tried the ritual draining and recharging but nothing worked.
So I called AT&T and they swapped my battery for a new one. Problem solved.

[Q] Battery Drain while Charging Nexus 5

This problem was there since i bought the nexus 5 (first week of jan), but it used to happen seldom, like once a week or so. But since last 2-3 weeks, everytime i try to charge my phone, it doesn't charge and actually starts discharging and reaches 0% in some time while charging, one way i have found to solve it is to switch off the phone while charging, let it charge like that for 5 mins, and then switch back on, it gains 1% during that time, after that it charges normally.
Using original charger and USB cable that came with my nexus 5, tried using samsung charger and HTC cable with HTC charger as well as OEM charger, doesn't make a difference.
Also, since i bought the nexus 5, if the USB cable is even slightly displaced (like when picking up the phone), and phone disconnects and reconnects from charging, like the port on the phone is loose or something, this annoys me while transferring data from pc as if the phone is even slightly moved, then the Internal Storage unmounts and remounts on the pc, thus interrupting the transfer. Though this problem i have noticed is slightly higher when phone charge is on the lower side (~20%) and if i try to fiddle with the USB cable while the charge is >60%, the problem doesn't seem to be that much, though it still disconnects, but not that sensitive.
Can anyone explain what's going on?
Does the mobile display that the phone is actually charging when you have connected it to the charger??
As for your second problem, I'm sure the micro usb port of your device has become loose... Nothing you can do to fix it... May be visit a local LG centre and tell them to see if it can be fixed by opening up the device and tightening it may be?
PS: lol @ username are you Indian?

Yes, the phone says charging, battery settings says Charging (AC), but it doesn't charge, and discharges, i don't think that some app is using high cpu while charging, because my battery discharges fine before i put it on charge.
I purchased it from Play Store, so LG would fix it then too?

Are you fully stock? If so, then perform a factory reset and see whether the issue persists. If you're using a custom rom then flash the factory images and go fully stock and see whether it still occurs.
If it does, then it's surely a faulty battery we are looking at. Since you've tried using different chargers and cables, there's nothing more you can do.
Call google customer service and RMA it.

Yes, i am running stock rom with root, tried factory reset, no improvement, currently my phone is on charging with 71% charge, now i am using my phone, testing new camera app, no disconnections, but when i use the phone with low charge while charging, it disconnects and reconnects, don't know if it's hardware fault or just software, as charging too returns to normal when phone is switched off and then turned on.
Is RMA'ing the last resort? coz i am afraid that RMA might lead to some other problems, like getting a replacement with screen bleed issue or some else issue.

Yes, what you've said is very true. The replacement device might have other problems if you're unlucky.
Are you on stock kernel or have you flashed a custom kernel? If you have then flash the stock boot.img and see.
If everything else fails you can flash the factory images from Google and go completely stock and see if the problem persists.
It's upto you to decide whether you can overlook this weird battery issue or not. If you can't, then RMA is the only option left.

hmm yeah, i would need to think about it, thanks for the help.. :good:
i think i'd wait for 4.4.3 first to see if it isn't a firmware issue.
This results are from my tests.
If your current CPU operating temperature is higher than 51 degrees celsius the phone won't charge,it will stay at for example 50% .
If the temp. Is higher than 51 degrees the batt% will decrease.
If the temp. Is below 45 degrees the battery will charge but very slow.
If you're gaming it's normal.
Leave your phone to cool down for 20 minutes and it will start to charge at normal tempo,1-2% per minute at 20.degrees celsius.

In my case the battery isn't charging or it's charging BUT at 1 percent in 7-8 minutes when CPU temp. Is 51-52 celsius or above.
Sometimes when it's above 55 celsius, battery percentage is going down.
I'm charging with the original charger and cable.
I,m not using usb fast charge hack.

Yes, that's normal. It will charge if the temp is above 50*c..it will charge slowly as you are using your phone for hd gaming which takes a toll on the battery..
Fast charge just means that you can charge via your computer at AC wall charging speed...
If you charge your phone via computer and play games on it simultaneously then it's normal to discharge while charging as usb charges only at 0.5amp

This happened on my last phone. For me, it was from using a USB fast charge option on a custom kernel: reflashed the kernel and charging was back to normal; selected the option and it duplicated the problem.
So:
Are you using a stock kernel? Either way, I would try wiping caches and flashing the kernel (or another one).
Or, if you haven't, try a simulated battery pull (hold down the power, volume up and volume down buttons for ~15 seconds).

I know when I'm using my phone as a sat nav on the car dash it can get pretty toasty. When it's like that, it is on charge but the phone will still drain slowly... so on a 3 hour journey it may lose 20% battery or something. That is with an official HTC car charger so perhaps the results are a little unfair - think it's rated 1 amp.

yeah, while discharging, no matter how many times i re-insert the cable, or change the charger or the cable, it won't charge unless i switch off the phone, let it charge for some minutes and then power it on, it'll start to charge normally after that..
I'm in a similar boat. Every now and then I'll wake up with the battery being only charged to 75 or so. Since it happens sporadically it's hard to test why it may be happening. Have you found any resolution for the issue? This is using a wireless charger so a bad USB port can be ruled out.

The Nexus 5 has a charging controller by TI, that regulates the voltage and current to the battery if the battery gets hot enough lets say 50C it will stop all charging untill the battery is cooled and the charging session is re-started
The battery also has a fail-safe measure to prevent the phones battery from exploding which also does what the charging controller does, incase it fails the battery has another fail-safe mode

You should be asking in the Q&A section for quicker answers.
I have posted a thread on such issues... Cable is the primary issue.
I never turn off my tablet to charge or store. Hibernation mode will last me days when not in use. Seems that more are having issues with charging while the tablet is off, but even when on such issues arise.
I don't recommend calibration as it never proves to be a permanent fix, and google does not recommend such apps.
If rooted, you can run exposed framework and load DVFS disable by Wanam. Samsung DVFS messes with Androids battery stats database. The only fix is to disable it through an app.
If you have Wanam Exposed, the same dis-abler is available within the advanced settings.
It was my problem
easy fixed
Need install galaxy charging current & measure charging ampere
if itis 1.8
the problem in battery
If lower and this is 99%
chang usb cable of charger
try other cables
any cable of 1.8 use it
will be amazing
in faster charging
longer battery life

issue with battery after updating to marshmallow.

last day i have updated my nexus 5 to android 6 using nexus root tool kit. After one day, my phone will not charge above 80%. I have tried different charging cable and adapter, but no change. one thing i have noticed is that during initial stage charging is normal. when battery reaches 75% current drawn by the phone is very low (~40 mA. It takes about 45 min to reach 80% from 75%.
things i have tried.
1) factory reset
2)wiped cash memory
3) reflashed stock android 6
4)degraded to lollipop 5.1.1
5)drained to 0% and tried charging , but no result.
guys, i'm out of options any help ????
Solved !!! Issue was with my usb flex cable .

Fast charging using normal adapter?

As we all know, the charger xiaomi provided in the box does not support fast charging, although it is quite good. For fast charging we have to use different adapters or powerbanks that support it.
Yesterday when I was using my normal charger, it suddenly showed quick charge and two lightning symbols in the top right corner, which indicates fast charging, that I usually get when using my mi powerbank.
First I thought it was a software flaw but sure enough, my phone was charging at a much faster rate and was heating up similar to when I charge using powerbank.
Unfortunately when I removed the charger and reinserted it, the phone charges at it's normal rate, and I've been unsuccessfully trying to repeat it but it's not happening.
My device is completely unmodified, stock unrooted rom and bootloader locked.
I think this means that the normal adapter might be capable of fast charging but xiaomi has disabled it, something worth looking into.
Also I know the phone charges quite fast below 50%, I saw this effect while phone was at 69% and reached 72% in barely 3 minutes or something.
Unfortunately I did not have the presence of mind to take photos as proof.
first of all if you are using charger which comes in box with the phone, its not a fast charger its only 5V2A.
2nd it can't charge at pace compared to fast chargers as it can only provide 2A at max or it may be faulty
3rd it may be software bug just showing quick charge
and in the end you said it charged from 69 to 72 in 3 min. i can say its not fast charging because my charger 5V2A which came in box also charges at same speed you are saying. it normally takes around 1 min for 1% increase but depends on various factors like load being used currently by the phone.
sometimes when data is off or battery saver os on it charges more quickly as consumption is also less so it charges fast.

It was 2% in one minute, I've attached a ss from telegram group of violet where I reported this for proof. My data and wifi were on, and I've enabled always switch on data for faster switching in developer settings.
Even now it's currently happening, but the rate is very slow, I think it's probably a software bug like you say, any idea why this is happening?
Edit 1: That Telegram ss is from the day where I first created this thread, not today.
