Good morning,
I own an Xperia M2 device with Android version 5.1.1. O rooted it using kingroot (from my computer) and after that I expected that I can delete system apps. As I saw later, I can't mount system R/W, and I dont know why, Can you please help me find out how to solve this problem?

You can't unlock bootloader if it says NO.
To fix system r/w you need:
1 flash stock ftf
2 root with Eagle Root http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/general/eagleroottool-t3390663
3 that's it
Or search for RIC disabler that should fix r/w
Good Luck!

thx for post !
Try the following command over adb:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
(or in terminal emulator on the phone itself, removing the "adb" part of the command).
From there, you should be able to see if your bootloader is locked. Maybe there is a custom recovery out there somewhere for your phone, which you could possibly flash if your bootloader is unlocked. From there you should be able to flash a custom ZIP to root the phone.

Well, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas then. Is there an earlier version of Android available for the phone? If so, anyway of downgrading to it and rooting there?
well thanks m8 for ideas But the first try I made was downgrading it to 2.3.5, I find the tutorial on some chinese forum... but PHONE freeze and I get a new one over the warranty

Is it simlocked by a provider?
I had a GT540 once, and google removed stuff from hidden menu, and permissions needed to root.
So I know this problem, and I didn't manage to solve it.

Did you try running the motochopper or the Xperia_L_Root script again?
Delete SuperSU and maybe try again. And please tell if any errors occurred during the running of the script(s).

I did root once again using Xperia_L_Root script and before doing that I had uninstalled SuperSU.
Also, there was a problem while rooting. The script said 'Failure' somewhere but still it continued and also said the Exploits were pushed successfully

Have u tried using motochopper only?
Update SU from play store (don't open yet) and install Busybox. After installing busybox, open SU. SU will recognize busybox and install the binaries!
If this dosen't work then use motochopper again.
I just ran that script once again, it works now. Thanks

Hey Navneet thanx,,,,,, The problem is solved.... Here are the steps that i followed
uninstalled super user from my device
rooted the phone with motochooper
Installed superSu (when you root with motochopper you will already have super user installed on your device but the binaries were not installed so instead what i did was installed SuperSu of chanfire so that i will get a conflict message and the chainfire will unstall the default super user and update the binaries for me.
And Bingo! Luckily it worked...............

Almost the same problem as above but not really
Hello guys! My name is Vlad, this is my first post here and this is my first time trying to root a phone. I got a little problem so I would really appreciate if you could guide me a bit step by step out of it.
I have a Sony Xperia L phone and I have tried to root it using an app that uses Motochopper exploit, downloaded from this link:
htt p:// ww w.4shared.com/zip/6WyYYjpCce/Xperia_L_ROOT .html
delete the spaces in order for the link to work. Sorry for not respecting the rule but there would be no other way to show what I used
It seems to work but I have an error that occurs at the end:
"Rooting phone...
This may take a few minutes.
Failure.
Cleaning up...
Exploit complete.
Press enter to reboot and exit."
I have tried the ideas mentioned until now: reboot, reinstall, update, etc. but nothing seems to work. Any idea to help me please?
P.S. I am not trying to offend anyone by saying this but if I need to use some program to install something complicate please explain me as I am a beginner into this.
Thank you!

There is no way you can get back TA partition if you lost the backup too. But its just for some warranty and DRM purposes. It shouldn't affect the user experience in general. As for Whatsapp and other updates, its completely unrelated to rooting or TA partition.

I just installed a font installer app. When I just installed a new font, the app ask for reboot. I rebooted my phone and it starts normally. But after 4 or 5 times I installed the others font and rebooted again and again, at the last time I rebooted, my phone stuck at the boot animation. Even 30 minutes it doesn't past the boot animation. How to fix it?
My phone is Sony Xperia L C2105 running Android 4.1.2 (15.0.A.2.17), rooted, bootloader is still locked.
I don't want to flash my phone because it will erase my data. I have some important contact and messages that I didn't have the backup yet.
I need help, it's really important for me.
Sorry for my bad English.
I will appreciate your suggestions.

My brother used MyFont app..installing any font would cause a reboot for him. So, he uninstalled the app when somehow his phone started after successive retries... try remove your battery and somehow start your phone and remove that app!
Btw, he rooted via Framaroot! What about you?

But, I have found a solution for this problem.
The solution is to flash the device without wiping user data and cache (don't tick anything under the Wipe option). I just tried it and it was successful.
Now, my phone is back and I don't lose any app and my data.
But, once again, thank you

I had tried "Kingroot" and "Framaroot" two days ago. Both of them don't work for F1.
Anyway,thanks for your sharing.:highfive:
There is no working root for Oppo F1 at the moment. Safe rooting methods are not available. The bootloader is locked and fastboot has been disabled.
I'd be very careful about trying to use one click app solutions for attempting to root the device, if you can get them to work. They are responsible for suspicious behavior, such as downloading stuff and installing their own root manager. Beware.
No hope
I tired everything, kingroot, Framaroot, oppo tool, Kingoroot no hope ?

perhaps you can give us more clues :
1. does we need unlock bootloader / not ?
2. it need flashing from recovery (or even flash custom recovery) or only just an apk ?

Please help us root this device!
Thank you guys so much!
would using adb and remounting everything manually work? or downloading a firmware update and modding that
It will be much like my Find 7. Need to unlock bootloader to install TWRP recovery so you can flash SuperSU.
The trick is having an unlocked bootloader in the first place. The Find 7 wasn't a problem. Oppo didn't try to lock the user out.
I have an F1 here for my wife. Will root it once a developer has the exploits developed, tested and released to public. Just have to be patient and don't rush in doing risky experiments.
Try changing the launcher so it has a better UI for the daily stuff. ColorOS launcher is a PITA.

lol. uh no.
1: you can't remount system as /rw on a user build (only engineering/userdebug).
2: I think you mean a OTA update for system. Both the firmware and system are signed. You can't just do that.
You can use CVE-2015-1805. I got root via a kernel vuln, then exploited the bootloader to unlock it
