Help hacking websites - Security Discussion

Hello fellow xda members i ma great at hacking almost anything but i cant figure out how to hack websotes with android....... No i dont have root because u shouldnt have to and no droidsqli does not work

Is this post for real? LOL!
I really don't think this belongs here. If you're great at hacking, you should be able to figure it out on your own.

Find another site for this, XDA is not here to help anyone hack anyone.

Why Xda is starting to SUCK

I have been an avid user of xda over the years and now am not allowed to download or do anything until I post atleast 10 posts... So here XDA all posts will be about why this new pollicy is horrible for the users whodont feel the need to gum up the forums and only want to help test and download. This is 1 of 10
Doesn't suck for me
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
How about using all 10 posts to thank the authors of the guides/faqs/wikis that you're no doubt reading to improve your knowledge?
If you 'only' want to help test and download, there is only one way that you can help to test - that is to provide feedback! This means posting. So with all of the test help you are doing for the community, I am sure you will rack up 10 posts in no time
i have liked xda since becoming an android user. +1 to xda for all the talent that is here for us. Thanks devs.
You should be able to download as normal.
It should only be posting in dev threads that is restricted, and nothing else.
Just cause you have to make 10 post doesnt mean XDA sucks. Do you know millions of member come here because of the many break throughs that is been made on XDA?
XDA is a great resource. I read this often but haven't posted much in the past. Now when I do want post in one of the dev forums I can't because of the 10-post minimum. Oh well, that will be rectified soon.

Actually ..IF.. XDA was to "suck" it would be because of n00bs like you who think XDA owes them something. The 10 post rule is very leniant imo and should be at least 100 or only to set usergroups. newbies have absolutely no business posting in the dev section as everything they ask has been asked 100 times over and also guides on the matter, plus they seem to create topics in dev section instead of Q&A/general sections.
Btw you say you have been a member (or user) for years, yet you are using an account that was created last year so what happened to your last account? Also you only have 6 posts since last year and this was your first? That shows how much you appreciate XDA.
Why dont you do XDA a favor and go away.
This is a great community and I really think that the amount of free knowledge that you get here won't be match in any other forums as to the 10 post limits that is not a big deal just give thanks and help others with your comments on problems that they may need help and soon it will be a thing of the past. I think suck is a little hard but if you know of a better place than XDA please share.
Thanks
At first, I don't feel like posting coz it will show my nubiness. ;-)
After awhile though... ah heck, it's easier for everyone if users gave feedback

We have a "thank" button now which was added to stop all the simple "thanks" posts flooding the place so please dont ask people to leave "thanks" as a reply.

[Q] New to XDA & Android OS

hi everyone, im new to XDA & also new to Android OS. I need someone who knows what they are doing to help me understand XDA & how the rooting process works.
any experienced rooters out there looking for a student??
What device do you have/ what specifically do you want to know about rooting and or xda
Far as learning what XDA is all about, this thread is a good place to start.
Welcome to the XDA community! I'm still relatively new to the Android OS as well, and my knowledge expands greatly by the day here. Really, the best way to learn XDA is to explore it all and read a lot before posting!
XDA is the resource to goto, to find out how to do stuff. However, don't shy away from using Google to familiarize yourself with the jargon used in the Android mod community. It is invaluable to know what rooting, bootloader, recovery, fastboot and adb mean, before attempting to modify your phone/tablet to something better software wise.
I haven't been around too long but I've successfully flashed roms on 3 phones if you need anything pm me. And I've done a little bit more but not much. My most advanced knowledge is making the hello world app with java lol. Good luck to ya and welcome.
The device specific forums are the best place to get rooting info for your phone. You'll find guides and wiki therein.
You might want to watch this guide to learn more about XDA itself:

How to stop being a leech to the xda community?

I'm broke too broke to donate. all I have that can be any help is an HTC one s I'm too afraid to mess with anymore and an awful computer that I am willing to use to help people on here. You could start by reading up on everything related to Android development. Everyone started out as a noob, Google and these forums are your friend. If you can't donate, hit that thanks button at the bottom of the posts.
Or help answer questions in the Q&A section.

This is probably the worst comment ive read here, this is a community and a member wants to help and give a little back and your hating. If we would have more members that try and help and give something back xda would be a much better community.
To the op, theres guides on the development thread on how to develop for our devices, if you want to help you should read or you could probably pm a dev for more info, their very nice and they know a lot, could learn a lot from them.

Try and obtain knowledge about the device, how it works, how you can tell what it's doing, etc..
The ways to do this are: search and browse the forums, google outside of xda, look in your device.
Then you can either go for a specific goal, like s-off, your favorite missing feature, better battery life, etc.. and focus your searching and reading in that direction, or more opportunistically, come up with tweaks and tricks based on what you come across while dissecting the device.
At first it will seem daunting. Try and follow guides and how-to's and try to understand what they do and why that works.
As you become more familiar with how the device and related tools work, you can help out other members with their problems and questions.
Thanks for your interest in contributing.
Good hunting!

Of course, I would be glad to.
You can start by reading the rules of XDA and by watching the Noob video.
Then you can go to your device's forum and do a lot of reading and learning.
Then you can start to help other new users with the problems they are having because you now know so much.
Then you make a mistake and realise you don't know everything, so you start reading all over again, but this time you actually understand it.
Then you can go back to helping all the other users with their problems.
By doing this you will become a valued member of XDA and you will see that it is a community of great people, not just a place for you to demand answers or find ways round the well-established restrictions
Hopefully that has answered your question
Nice Simon!

Hi and welcome to XDA.
There doesn't seem to be any developer support for your device here. The people who do this kind of work do it in there spare time and as a hobby, so unless a developer has the device and chooses to work on it there is nothing you or I or anyone can do, apart from learning how to hack your device yourself. That's what XDA is about anyway, people sharing knowledge and working together to create great software.
You can ask in Android Q&A,Help and Troubleshooting to see if you can find others with your device. You'll have to create an account to post in the main forums.
Good luck
