Hey all just loaded Slim 6.0.1 on myTab 2 10.1 tablet. However I'm wondering can I OC the devicelike before when I ran the slim rom 4.2.2 I had stweaks running. Now it tells me unsupported kernel.
I just find the tablet a little slow especially on sites etc.
Any help or input is appreciated.
Download the kernel source which is OpenSource.
Add the OC interface (not sure if previous used code works).
Compile the OC kernel yourself.
OpenSource is great

Best/Fastest kernel out atm anyone have any advice?
Clemsyn's kernel seems quite popular
I'm very new to Android compiling and image building. I already build my own version of cyanogenmod for my Nexus S (crespo), and it works
But that was relative easy because everthing was included in the cyanogenmod sources. Now I want to compile CM for my Prestigio 9.7 Tablet (pmp5097cpro). The problem is, I don't know where to get the kernel config. Or can I use one of the default configs for the rk29board from the kernel archive?
I'm looking for a flashable kernel that is compiled against Linux kernel version 3.9 or higher.
I need some new drivers included in that branch.
I know one person did it for the Nexus 5 so I'm pretty sure it should be possible on the OPO.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
I'm running stock lollipop on 23.1.A.1.28 and i'm looking for a kernel that allows me to use governors like pegasus, elementalx, etc.
Is there any of them that allows that?
I do believe that only the aosp kernel sources are available to build from, meaning that stock would need to be reverse engineered. It's still early days and post lollipop / "M", so give it a while ?
Is there any overclocking kernel for the s7 on 8.0? I flashed some of them but they didnt work
They should work, MoRo kernel's OC works for sure, it is also the most properly packaged kernel for S7 in my opinion. I have only used it for Samsung's stock firmware though, nothing AOSP, not sure if he has version for that as well.
