As you can see, the original iPad comes closest to TP numbers, but only the Vega is close in thickness (though not other dimensions).
So, if whatever it is you are looking at has to CONTAIN the TouchPad completely, there is NO GOOD MATCH, unless it is an iPad case with enough slop room to hold another full millimeter of thickness.
Squeezing your tablet into something that is too small is eventually going to be painful, ask any woman trying on shoes!
Obviously, if you think of one that should be here - chime in.

Don't forget variations on the curvature of the corners can also have an affect on whether cases can be swapped around.

What does the weight have to do with getting a case that fits your touchpad?
Actually,The ipad2 case can not work on Touchpad. I tested.
Nobody is saying it does xjarl, he's posted the sizes so that everyone can see that most of these other pads are too different in size for their cases to be any use.
Also I think hoping someone will find another pad that is close enough to be a possible fit.

I guess it depends on who does the conversion and whether they rounded and in which direction they converted.
I tend to believe the metric numbers were the original spec that the engineers who designed it used, then it was converted to US.
Trying to do it in reverse can yield slightly different numbers.

The box UPS sent me is roughly 7-5/8" (L) x 4-1/4" (W) x 2-1/8" (H) or 195mm (L) x 105mm (W) x 55mm (H).
The actual Nexus 5 box is roughly 6-1/2" (L) x 3-3/4" (W) x 2" (H) or 165mm (L) x 95mm (W) x 50mm (H).

I can't find definitive answer anywhere, is the dimension, connector and body shape identical to Moto X enough to allow us to use Moto X car holder with charger, for instance?

Since I bought the Moto G as a replacement for my broken HOX I immediately got a bumper... there weren't any moto g bumpers so I got a moto x bumper. It's a tight fit but it works ok. =)
Personally, I prefer the Moto G 2013: it is smaller than 2014 (for me 2013's dimension is perfect: it is neither big nor small), it has the LTE module and more pixels per inch.

Motorola Moto X Force vs Moto X Style vs Moto X Play: Design
The Motorola Moto X Force measures 149.8 x 78mm and offers a curved rear between 7.6mm and 9.2mm. The Moto X Style is larger in height but smaller in width, measuring 153.9 x 76.2mm with a curve between 6.1mm and 11.06mm. The Moto X Play is the smallest of all three of these devices however, measuring 148 x 75mm with a curve of 8.9mm to 10.9mm.
The Moto X Force is the slimmest overall and one of the lightest, hitting the scales at 169g, which is the same as the Moto X Play. The Moto X Style is 10 grams heavier at 179g.
All three of the Moto X devices come with a water-repellant nano-coating and they are all available to customise through Moto Maker. The Force only comes in one colour as standard, while the Style and Play come in two base colours.

Motorola Moto X Force vs Moto X Style vs Moto X Play: Display
The Moto X Force comes with a 5.4-inch AMOLED display offering a resolution of 2560 x 1440 for a pixel density of 540ppi. It's the ShatterShield feature that makes this device stand out from the crowd however. Motorola claims this display is completely unbreakable and its confidence is supported with a four-year warranty.
The Moto X Style has a slightly larger 5.7-inch TFT LCD display that also offers a Quad HD resolution but the increase in size drops the pixel density to 520ppi. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, but no unbreakable claims come with this model or the Moto X Play.
The Moto X Play has a 5.5-inch display that offers a Full HD resolution for a pixel density of 403ppi, which is the lowest of this bunch. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is on board again but dropping this device at a bad angle probably wouldn't end well.
The Force has the smallest display but also the sharpest, and strongest if Motorola's claims are anything to go by.

Motorola Moto X Force vs Moto X Style vs Moto X Play: Camera
The Moto X Force has a 21-megapixel rear snapper, like the Moto X Style and Moto X Play. All three feature an aperture of f/2.0, along with functions such as 4x digital zoom, slow motion video, burst mode, night mode and auto HDR.
The Moto X Play doesn't offer as many functions as the Moto X Force and the Moto X Style however, despite offering the same amount of megapixels. For example, both the latter devices offer phase detect auto-focus and 4K video capabilities, while the Moto X Play doesn't.
In terms of the front-facing snapper, the Moto X Force has a 5-megapixel sensor, as does the Moto X Style and Moto X Play. Motorola doesn't detail the features of the Moto X Play's front camera but the Moto X Style and Moto X Force appear to be identical.
There is a wide-angle lens, night mode, a flash and an aperture of f/2.0. The Moto X Force and Moto X Style front-facing cameras also have larger 1.4um pixels for better low light shots.

The Moto X Force has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor under its hood, Adreno 430 graphics and 3GB of RAM support. The Moto X Style takes the processor down a notch to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with Adreno 418 graphics but there is still 3GB of RAM support. The Moto X Play has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, Adreno 405 graphics and 2GB of RAM on board.
The Moto X Force comes in 32GB and 64GB storage options, offering microSD support for up to 2TB. The Moto X Style comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options with microSD support for up to 128GB. The Moto X Play is available in 16GB and 32GB storage options, also with microSD support.
The biggest battery sits within the Moto X Force with a whopping 3760mAh capacity, while the Moto X Play sits closely behind with a 3630mAh battery. The Moto X Style has the smallest battery at 3000mAh.

All three Moto X devices come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, but they will all get a Marshmallow update eventually. Motorola doesn't add as much bloatware as Samsung and Sony do so you get a close to pure Android experience with its devices.
The software experience between the Moto X Force, Moto X Style and Moto X Play will be identical. You'll get Android with a few extra Motorola-specific apps like Motorola Assist and voice-activated commands.

You pay an extra £100 for a slightly bigger battery than the Moto X Play, but a significantly bigger one than the Moto X Style, a faster processor, smaller but sharper display and more storage, as well as a slimmer handset overall than both models.
The quietly announced Moto X Force wins or draws on almost all spec fronts so if you are someone who is constantly dropping their smartphone, this decision will be a no brainer. The Moto X Force offers everything and more than the Moto X Style and Moto X Play.

IMHO Motorola went backwards on this one... I think that they should have given the bigger battery to the MOTO X Style... 3760mAh

Yes the Moto X force (Droid Turbo 2 in the US) is a more powerful phone but it has a price tag to match. It was launched here in the US for Verizon wireless only, 32gig is $624 off contract or $720 for the 64gig variant. That's $174 or $220 more respectively compared to the Moto X Pure edition here in the states. Yes it's a better phone but the performance difference for the price isn't worth it in my book. It also doesn't help that it loses the stereo speakers for a mono loud speaker on the front.

The big question, will the Force be available in the US through Moto Maker direct?
I'm not changing carriers just for the Droid Turbo 2. The Force really hits the mark with the 4 year warrantee shatter proof screen. PocketNow seemed to throw the Droid Turbo 2 around pretty good.
I'll be disappointed if I cannot order this in US through Moto Maker.

It probably never will. The Moto Maxx is the international version of the Droid Turbo and after more than a year, it never got to be available directly from Motorola U.S.
I'm guessing because of the Verizon exclusivity agreement.
F###ing Verizon. That would really suck. A phone with a feature like shatter proof screen & only one company can carry it in US? That's crap. I know I could probably buy the Verizon phone & put a GSM sim card in it, but I don't want the big red crap ware.
I don't get moto. On the one hand, we are only making our phones direct, but then they come out with a carrier specific phone with some specs that are much more desirable than what they call their high end phone. I don't get it.
It's called money and fulfilling a contract Motorola has with Verizon. They do this every year with the droid. What's surprising is that anyone would be surprised. The T2 won't get quick updates and the four T2s I have seen have had dark, dingy screens but I haven't heard others experiencing this. I'm happy with my MXPE.

Moto Maxx in Brazil hasnt received updates as Moto X received. I recommend you to avoid this.

I've read this in a few hands-on/reviews as well. The screen is apparently downright ugly compared to my beautiful MXPE.

I'm jealous of the 2TB SD card expansion.. Not that I would ever use that much lol. But theoretically I could backup all my photos and videos from my pc and carry it around on my phone.

in us its only on verizon so they need the faster processor and bigger battery to support all that verizon bloat... it will be locked down im sure like all moto phones on verizon have been forever... MXPE is free of bloat, easily unlockable bootloader if i choose, therefore it is a better choice for the value since you need to pay full price for the phone via payment plans now
