Well, Sony has said that it will be available WORLDWIDE in September, the paramount word here being worldwide. UK is not worldwide and it's not as if they necessarily just stock up produced watches and then ship it everywhere at the exact same time. Clove is a reputable company IMO, but I'll get back to post here when I have my watch before the end of this month :victory: (fingers crossed)
Keen to get this too.. just not sure if warranty is international or not though!

There are at least three UK web sites with the Sony SmartWatch 2 on pre-order in two weeks (July 15 week): Clove, MobileFunUK, and Handtec. I pre-ordered from both Clove and MobileFunUK. Clove already charged my credit card!
I ordered the current generation from MobileFunUK last year and it was delivered earlier than the rest of the world by a few weeks if I recall correctly.
So it seems very real!

Its not trying to replace a bluetooth earpiece, not to mention it would make it too bulky. Look at the Kreyos. Great features, but looks ridiculous as a watch.

im not sure where it says what its suposed to do before its released? so there is no reason they could not do it these days (im sure it could be done without being bulky) ive read of many users that would love that functionality. i would be quite willing to pay the extra price. it would turn it from being a good watch to being the best. (especially if it included a camera too!)

Yes two for now. I have 4 Sony current generation ones. I typically get multiple for various reasons including being able to have failures/damages.
Some web sites charge on preorder, I didn't realize Clove was doing this but am OK with it.
It will be interesting to see which one gets delivered first, as I also selected the fastest option available with each.

Canada, yes I think the current price is reasonable.

In Clove's FAQ they write the following:
Do you take payment straight away?
Unless you have ordered an item that is marked as 'pre-order' on the product page, you will be charged straight away for the products ordered.
I pre-ordered, obviously, and they charged me straight away, now they just happen to have to delay it till week starting September 9 because Sony misinformed them. Yeah right. Lying sacks of s.... I'm fuming right now. Mobilefun.co.uk has it for preorder too and having bought 10+ times from them already and always really satisfied, I'll preorder with them instead. Also they answer questions and their watch is the plastic or silicone strap, which I prefer to the leather one that Clove claims to get - if ever. Like I'm gonna lend them all that money for 2 months
EDIT: So delay is legit, but their charing immediately is still crappy business practice.
Yup just got the Emil from Clover about the Sept 9 delay also.
Not too keen on their charge of the card now may ask them to reverse it till shipment.

Just take a look at who you should trust. Trustpilot is a Danish company, so not as well known by non-Danes, but I concur with the reviewers.
Check Trustpilot website and read about Mobilefun and Clove and then compare them.
Can't post links because of this damn spam prevention 10 post system. At least this way, replying and hopefully helping you, I'll rack up enough to be able to post in developers section. By no means a newbie but unlike some I always search forums thoroughly, so never needed to ask much myself :angel:
I have just ordered it from Mobilefun and theirs is the rubber strap that I wanted anyway. Even it I still won't get it till September, I trust them regarding any problems with the watch later, should such arise.
Clove just responded that I'll get my money back within 7 business days!!! What? They should do it today so I'll have it by tomorrow. I might get it by tomorrow, I guess, but never have I dealt with anyone that slow.

Can't post links yet but to to mobilefun . co. uk and type smartwatch, then find version 2 and read the correspondence. They seem quite certain it will be in July, or it would seem, at least before September. You could give it till tomorrow to see it they change their prospects like Clove did, but unlike those sons of cloves they won't charge you until they actually send it.

The revised arrival date is week commencing 9th September. At all times we provide the most accurate information we can based on data we are supplied. We are sorry for any inconvenience this delay may cause.
So it seems the delivery delay is the same for Mobilefun and Clove. Only difference now is that Clove will charge you immediately and Mobilefun won’t until they actually ship AFAIK. Clove’s comes with a narrow black leather strap and Mobilefun’s is the silicone strap. I’ve opted for the latter since I don’t want a splashproof watch with a strap that can’t handle water at all, or sweat for that matter. The silicone one is wider and more supportive and hugs the watch making it look smaller and the little holder things appear less prominent. Sony will release extra straps later, but that could take a while and if their overpriced M2 micro-flash cards are anything to go by, they’ll cost twice as much as a similar 24 mm strap on amazon/ebay. The silicone one is a fit, but the leather one is generic, so buy the durable silicone and you can then easily replace with a less durable leather later. Just my two cents.
EDIT: Mobilefun also charges immediately. Guess there's not way around that, but I don't care anymore. The other stuff I got from them I've liked and their service has been good so far.

I had read in either this forum or another (can't recall), that someone had walked into Best Buy and bought an in-stock Moto Hint. Bestbuy.com is not showing the device at all. A call to my local store revealed that there's nothing in their store at the least.
Does anyone know or did anyone hear of these in-stock at BBY?
Oddly enough, I pre-ordered mine (brown leather) about 45 minutes after the pre-order opened on 9/16. Was given a ship date of 10/15. Checked back the next day to find that brown leather was the only color in stock, estimated shipping 10/3. How very Motorola of them...

Anyone else received their free speaker? I took delivery of mine this morning and am rather impressed - what a nice little freebie! I sounds better than I thought it would and goes way louder than other Bluetooth speakers I have used.
I registered my claim on 20th April and got the 'Claim Validated' email on 8 May.
Is this carrier specific? I didn't know about any free speakers, but I'm on Tmobile

It was an offer by the UK's CarphoneWarehouse on pre-orders of the S8. I would buy one if I didn't get it free - it is a Samsung branded IPx7 water resistant speaker and can provide power to charge your phone. Apparently not too expensive online through eBay. Looks really nice and perfect for my bathroom!
Oh ok. In the US here. I was thinking about Bluetooth speaker maybe to attach to my road bike or just to have around the house too. I use Amazon a lot and sometimes Ebay

My claim ID was 213. I did pick up my S8 around 9.30 am on 20th April and submitted the claim within the hour, lol!
Probably got a while before getting mine then as I'm 29102, validated 9th May.
It was the only decent offer in the UK - the VR Americans got would have been better and help the VR ecosystem increase in popularity.
Claim number 12000ish and got validated 8th May. I hope to see mine next day or two.
Just got mine through today, didn't realise after getting the message saying your claim has been validated, you get a final message saying your claim has been processed
Got mine yesterday. It is quite good. Takes forever to charge but imagine i won't be charging it often. The Samsung Level app is useful.
I received mine today but the micro usb doesn't fit the s8+ so if I wanted to use it as a portable charger does that mean I have to buy a different connecter?

You can also just walked into a BestBuy and get it for $599 this week. I think I need to do that to get a hands-on and check out the camera app speed. A few seconds delay between the shots sounds a little too much.
I currently have the device and downloaded a pixel camera apk that seems compatible with it. Though question I must ask, does all five cameras work on third party camera apps as well… (night scape on this device would be fantastic). Nokia 9 five cameras’ design using a compatible pixel 3 camera apk would make me not purchase the google pixel 3 xl.
I picked mine up at Best Buy last Friday (March 1). Some locations had them available.

I'm in the UK and I pre-ordered on the 28th Feb.
I have been on the fence about buying a new phone for around a year and I hadn't seen anything about this phone before the 27th. It hauled me down off the fence quicker than I expected, especially when I saw the UK price with the earbuds thrown in.
Really excited about the potential of the camera and the early review shots have looked great.
Although Best Buy has it on hand(at some stores at least) I preferred to order from BH Photo . Best Buy charges $25 for returns while BH does not charge for returns and it is free shipping to/from them. I have bought a lot of gadgets from Best Buy and BH and , BH photo usually has the best customer service. Of course BH does not charge taxes either (they are located in NYC) and I live in Massachusettes. Shipping from BH photo , when supply is in, is 1-3 days.
Looks like B&H may ship tomorrow according to an email I just got:

Also in the UK, ordered March 3rd and it is saying expected shipping date is April 1st, which is later than some other regions. I need to replace my S7 Edge and I'm seeing this device as a bit of an upgrade over the OnePlus 6T. I suppose I could wait for the OnePlus 7 but I expect that device to be more expensive and have no wireless charging. Also the camera is a bonus, and HDR10 support on the screen will be interesting to try.
Nokia are also claiming HDR video recording, though I am not sure what that really means yet.

Interesting to hear that the phone is available in some markets. Ordered mine, but no indication on when the delivery starts in the Netherlands. Some rumors say 15 March, others early April.

I pre-ordered mine from Best Buy on the 3rd of March, at around 3am. I received it yesterday (7th) from UPS at around 3pm. I am near Cleveland Ohio. I chose the free shipping, surprisingly I was expecting UPS to hand it off to USPS because it was sure-post method, but UPS ended up delivering it. I have to go to the AT&T store today to get a nano SIM, my current/old phone was a micro SIM, so I have yet to power it up and trying it out. I will later today *crosses fingers*.

I have a problem with my wh900's and ordered the xm3 (overhead headphones so we both mean the frame thing) 2 days ago. I cancelled them this morning after ordering the pixel 5. I'll probably sell them on but I'm curious to hear the difference, meanwhile the xm3 might drop some more in price while I use my wh900 and wait for these Bose units.

Yep, we mean the same Sony ones (apologies, I probably got it wrong). I guess the BOSE will drop heavily in price once a bunch of people get free ones and eBay gets busy with them.

Sony's naming convention confuses me, I think there's another one similar in name to xm3 but it's in ear.
I don't think I would have ordered if they came with ear buds, I like my over ear headphones for the office and now wfh.
Yep I also pre ordered the pixel 5 with Bose headphones offer (will be selling it to help offset the cost) even if I get £100-200 for them. I ordered via carephone warehouse. Says 15th October to be delivered! Just need to wait for some decent Spigen cases to show up! I'm coming from a 2017 Sony XZ Premium phone so should be a nice upgrade and also slightly smaller phone but more screen so perfect for me
I had ordered on the Google store initially but my delivery date for sage green was the 27th Oct. Today I cancelled the order on Google store and placed the order on carphone warehouse for the sage and the delivery date is now 15th Oct.
The sage is still available for preorder on carphone warehouse and e2save (both participating retailers for the bose headphone offer) so if like me you also have an end of Oct or early Nov delivery date on Google store then maybe worth cancelling and ordering from one of these (remember the headphone offer is subject to stock so the earlier you get the phone the better).
