Anyone else "duked" by amazon on the skyrocket ??

want to hear from others that were wronged by amazon wireless.... After doing my research on what phone I wanted, I took advantage of the deal going on @Amazon wireless on Thanksgiving, where you got the skyrocket for a penny--- went thru the steps---approved thru AT&T--showed IN STOCK ordered it.... Supposed to ship within one week (2 day free shipping...yeah right) So the next day I return to the site to gain more info---now I see the skyrocket is "not available" backorder... Thought , good thing I bought yesterday (said IN STOCK when I cashed out) so I check my order and find that ship date is JAN. 9 ! Ordered on Nov 24th, I called in and found that they threw me in the backorder pool...That is BS I told them , because it said IN STOCK when I purchased... Had this info been laid in front of me @ time of purchase I may have done something diff. Even now if you go to the site, it will show "backordered, ships in 1 - 2 weeks--really? And my order from Nov 24th goes all the way to Jan 9th? So, looking for others wronged by Amazon..... . I also checked with both at&t and Samsung. ...no shortage of skyrockets........... I ordered on the 21st and didn't get it until the 28th because Amazon shipped too late in the day for ups to send it on time in 2 days.

I also ordered on Monday 11/21 and got mine Wed. 11/23...sorry for your bad luck. But you still got it for $.01 right? I've checked prices and they're now at $189 or something.

Same here, ordered on the 11/21 arrived on 11/23,, had to open a 5th line but oh well, lol this thing is a beast. still have my atrix, though, still love that little guy also.

Republic wireless has hosed me though..i ordered from them the same go-live night and i am not getting shipped till xmas..that's a month and half late..

After I finished the manual review I got a confirmation of the first order as well as the second one.
I get two shipping emails but only one new number email. I figure it is a mistake and that Amazon would catch it before shipping after the Thanksgiving Holiday. A few days later I have two Amazon boxes sitting at my front door. I only opened one line but have this extra Skyrocket sitting on my desk.
I love Amazon.

eh i got a 249$ phone for .01 ... even though it took a week to arrive i am still happy with it.
at least they still honored the .01 price if it was out of stock .. most black friday sales just tell you that you are sol if the item is out of stock.

Tracking says it got delivered today.

I ordered on 25th as well and mine should be delivered tomorrow. Along with SGS II and Captivate Glide (Moving 3 lines from Tmobile)

I ordered 1AM on Tuesday and it arrived 3PM on Wednesday. I was actually impressed because I was expecting it the following Monday after the holiday.
I'm sorry you still have to wait. But for a $.01...I wouldn't mind the wait. Maybe you can get them to send you a white one?

I think my wait was attributed to Captivate Glide because it was suppose to ship in "8 - 10 days".

Amazon's customer service is top notch. They use all their muscle to right any wrongs. My guess is that you will be getting your device much sooner than Jan 9.

Any places you find can be added to my master list, I'll add a Canadian section.

It's available a TigerDirect.ca but it's a ripoff, the tablet is on sale for 574 and the dock 172, so in total a good 100$ extra than the regular price. The catch is, they list it as shipping in 3-5 days, i bought one, and after chatting with a agent, he said everything is backordered until at least june 25th. So basically, it's a smart way to try and make an extra 100$ off having the "exclusivity" of the first ones to sell it in canada

EDIT: Ok so this morning it was just a page with no way to click the buy button but i can now see that the buy button redirects you to the actual product. The only things is that the actual TF700T is not on their website if you search for it, only if you use the link i have. Sitting here with my new Acer A700...would have got the TF700T but I need something for my trip in early August.
Despite all the reported issues with the A700, fine with me so far, but I would like to give the TF700T a spin...so tempting to preorder this from NCIX and see if it ships in time for my trip.

Damn it! That's so tempting but I want a 64GB/Champagne! I went through this last time with the Prime, too. 64GB and gold ones were the very last to ship...

meh, i dont really care for the 64gb because the only things that take up space is my music, and that i have on my GS3

Hi, ordered a TF700t from Tigerdirect Tuesday morning. I received my shipping notice Wednesday morning. I should have the table by Friday (or Monday). But.... I've also seen when shipping notices are created but they aren't actually shipped until later. Not sure if this is happening here.

same thing happened to me, except i ordered monday night. then i called in on tuesday and asking them if the item was in stock and they said that even though my order was marked as shipped, it is back ordered until the 25th. This is just a very stupid way to keep customer exited about their inflated prices.

Wow that's actually the most stupid thing...
I have a pet peeve for poor customer service so if that was me, I would have cancelled the order before even getting off the phone...
If it's a 32GB, you might as well order from NCIX and save yourself some $$$.

Yup...done! I've been a client of NCIX for years, should of waited for them instead of letting my geeky impatience guide me, at least i know they dont have a dildo waiting for my a**h***

I think Tiger direct turned out be a scam . They market it as shipped but i noticed that they havent billed my credit card. I c a n see them shipping without billing.

Of course just after I posted my last comment I checked my Tigerdirect / UPS tracker and in fact my order has actually shipped and it's some were in the States.
But I will only half apologize to Tigerdirect because it still is $90.00 more than B&H.

This could be a blessing in disguise...at least for me...latest from samsung note 10.1 spec is really looking good, 1.4 quad core, 2 gb ram, s pen, 5mp / 2mp cameras, ir universal remote control, sms capability thru the phone (probably thru blue tooth like the smart watches....only missing is the hd screen..

I messed up and didnt order one at release, now im wanting it pretty bad.
Anyone having luck finding it in the US? I have read reports from several people that some 3rd party vendors that are shipping from Korea are shipping out international version ( no samsung pay, right? ) so I'd like to avoid that.
Frys Electronics shows it available for shipping first week of Jan.
Id prefer to go through Best buy or amazon, anyone have some insider info on them? Customer support has zero info.

I was able to find it at Best Buy.

I had the same problem. Couldn't find it anywhere, finally I took a chance, and went to craigslist, saw one going for $200 no box, I asked the guy if the charger came with it, he said yes. I took the chance, went for it, and it's just the watch, with the charger, (no cable or power block) but for $200 it's not bad. I factory reset it before I did anything, so far so good, everything works, Samsung pay works.

Best buy

None of the best buys in my area or anaheim, ca or las vegas have them in stock. The best my local best buy was able to do for me is give me a 10% off coupon ad they couldn't even let me place an order to secure the 299 price.
Been keeping an eye on Craigslist too, thank you guys!

I Also got mine from Bestbuy about a week ago, but they were out of all the Bluetooth only editions. I ended up convincing them to sell me an ATT version for the same price and I'm just using it as Bluetooth only. Seems they are out of stock just about everywhere..

I ended up getting two shipped out. One came in today and the bezel clinks quite a bit. Going to see how it compares to the one arriving tomorrow.

I just bought one today from my local Best Buy. No Best Buy locally had them until yesterday. Per the manager I bought mine from, they had a shipment of them come in yesterday. They only got 4. There was only 1 not ordered online that was available for anyone to walk in and buy. They didn't have a demo unit on the floor.

AT&T has a special if you upgrade a line, you can get the S3 for 50 bucks...just did it myself. Doesn't have to be the Flagship, either...any Galaxy phone.

Just walked into my local best buy today and they had one left. It was $350 though. They said they will price match until the 15th of January so hoping it goes on sale! Either that or Verizon announces they are getting a LTE model and I'm returning this one asap

Man i have had the same luck with Samsung. I ordered during the christmas sale and its been weeks. Aholes haven't shipped my order yet. Best buy has been out of stock since a long time near me, either. So i kept checking almost daily like a routine and finally found in stock, ordered and cancelled my Samsung order. The frustrating part is Samsung website has been showing The Frontier will ship in 1-3 business days since past coupla days. I called their agents and they all be like- "Oh sorry, it just means it will be delivered in 1-3 business days, once it leaves the warehouse. It is not what you think". WT?? Man I got so pissed calling them again and again with no luck, they all repeating the same sht. I have a strong feeling they are not shipping in the order received. I think brand new orders at full price are still being shipped sooner than those back orders sold at sale price.

Anyone else received their free speaker? I took delivery of mine this morning and am rather impressed - what a nice little freebie! I sounds better than I thought it would and goes way louder than other Bluetooth speakers I have used.
I registered my claim on 20th April and got the 'Claim Validated' email on 8 May.

It was an offer by the UK's CarphoneWarehouse on pre-orders of the S8. I would buy one if I didn't get it free - it is a Samsung branded IPx7 water resistant speaker and can provide power to charge your phone. Apparently not too expensive online through eBay. Looks really nice and perfect for my bathroom!

Oh ok. In the US here. I was thinking about Bluetooth speaker maybe to attach to my road bike or just to have around the house too. I use Amazon a lot and sometimes Ebay

My claim ID was 213. I did pick up my S8 around 9.30 am on 20th April and submitted the claim within the hour, lol!

Probably got a while before getting mine then as I'm 29102, validated 9th May.
It was the only decent offer in the UK - the VR Americans got would have been better and help the VR ecosystem increase in popularity.

Claim number 12000ish and got validated 8th May. I hope to see mine next day or two.

Just got mine through today, didn't realise after getting the message saying your claim has been validated, you get a final message saying your claim has been processed

Got mine yesterday. It is quite good. Takes forever to charge but imagine i won't be charging it often. The Samsung Level app is useful.

I received mine today but the micro usb doesn't fit the s8+ so if I wanted to use it as a portable charger does that mean I have to buy a different connecter?

When will Google start shipping phone

Does anyone know when Google will start to actually ship the phone. I keep seeing "pre-order" on the Google store page.

One would think they have to start shipping end of this week in order to be here by the 18th-19th? Unless they are going to do 2 day shipping on all phones?

The option to cancel the order is gone now for me. So looks like there's finally movement. I ordered as soon as available.

I got mine today. I'm satisfied with it as a replacement for a moto x4. Now I've got to decide if I replace the other moto x4 as well, and, even more importantly, trying to guess how long I have to make that decison before Google stops selling the 4a. I'm concerned that this might be a limited run that disappears when the 4a 5G and the 5 hit the market.
