Hello I'm a photographer looking to get a nice big screen tablet that can use snapseed to edit raw DNG files. The note pro ticks all the boxes but I just can't find out if snap seed allows you to edit DNG files on this device and I'm wondering if anyone could answer this for me.
Kind Regards
SnapSeed is up to version 2 now at Google app store. It should work on this tablet. The hard part is finding a new one for sale. Very few 64GB models left. I just found one on Amazon but no telling how long it will be available.
Snapseed itself can do it.
As for the NotePro, I don't now, because I'm a Canon users. We use .CR2 files, and those don't work. I have no DNG files to test, sadly.

Of course. Yep, it works on my P905.
It comes up with the RAW editor first, then when you accept the changes it comes with the other Snapseed options. (I did have to open the file through the file explorer then select Snapseed.)

New app just popped up, 'Awesome Drop'. You just open the app on your phone, then go to http://labs.dashwire.com/drop and put the access code from the page onto your phone and drop files right into your browser and they get transfered to your phone. No account, just simple file transfer wherever you are.

neat, thanks
useful if you don't have the usb cable with you
This can be used to send files I have to my friends with Android phones. Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
This is great, just hope the site is able to stay up from the strain of a lot of concurrent file transfers.
Yeah I've had this for a little while, it's handy for transferring small files, but I noticed it tends to choke/hang on files over 100 megs.
How?

it's a one way app, use 'websharing' or something like that if you want 2-way
Actually quite awesome.
I wish the reverse was possible though.
A tab that you could open and then drop files from a built in file exp. into the drop box.
Well, the only thing that stops me of using this "Awsome Drop" is the lack of Opera.
But that might be the lack of HTML5 support from Opera, rather then the app. and website creators fault thou..Even thou Opera 10.60 was a "giant step" towords "full" HTML 5
heres a video that i did on the application to give users visual on how easy this really is:
Hi agian!
I couldnt wait on Opera Software or the app website too like each other so I downloaded a firefox.paf.exe too the computer I was using yesterday. And it worked like a charm, the only thing Im woundering about is when the "prossesbar" at the website is finished the prossesbar in the app. isnt full.Does the prossesbar installed and running on the phone view an other prosses?Like total amount how many MiB Ive downloaded or how much I can download to my cell before its full?
Just use drop box.... and share folders with friends...

If you want to fill it in "manually" with the spen, you can always import the pdf into s note, then edit and save.
You can then export the note as a pdf. And then email it.

Thanks for the advice - seems like a plan. I checked out repligo to. That looks pretty god for that sort of thing to
No problem, form fillable pdf's might be easier to fill out first, then save a copy, then import to s note to sign, or doodle or whatever.

You can in adobe reader. Also in polaris office. A word of caution though, make sure you use a copy of the original doc because on some of them (Polaris especially,) if you save the document it can be a bit hit and miss to undo the changes. Found this out the hard way. Luckily I was able to download another form, but keep it in mind.

Hello,
When we take a picture with a Android device, we can know which device took the picture by consulting the details of the picture.
Does someone know where is the database of these metadata?
Where are saved the brand and the model of the device?
I wonder this because I'd like change the brand and the model of the device in metadata.

In this picture I'd like replace "AMOI" by an other brand.
Thanks for your help.
PS : I'm sorry for my pitiful English. [emoji16]
You can edit the metadata of a pic using a pc or your android itself!
in a PC :
*right click the photo
*select properties
*in the properties tab, select details and you can see all metadata there, you can click whatever you want to change then press Save below!
on your android phone:
*download this app from market Photo editor
*open the app, from the app, open that pic using the gallery or file browser option, or simply sharing the image from any place to photo editor
*you will see the pic loads with editing options, clickinfo in the bottom left corner
*you will get metadata now, edit your desired options and save
Done!!
Yes of course but I would like the right metadata be placed automatically on every pictures.
So instead of AMOI I'd have directly the other brand...

So, you need to root, then use a file browser like ES File Manager, open /system/build.prop as a text file, there scroll down and when you can see AMOI , change it to whatever you like, then save it and reboot.
Now all your photos will come with the new name you put instead of that AMOI.
Thanks you for your advice.
But checking the buil.prop is the first thing I did. And that data isn't located in the build.prop
So it's embarrasing because I don't know at all where it is located :/
I checked many files...but not found yet...I hope I'll find!
After many monthes of researches... Up please!
Any idea? No way to change this?
PS : I'm running 4.4.2

Good work - nice and polished app.
Just one notice:
The application ignores the orientation tag saved in EXIF. For standard rotations (0, 90, 180, 270) it is ok, since the user has a possibility to rotate the image himself. However for horizontally / vertically flipped, transpose and transverse images it results in wrong orientation.
That's just one edge case...sorry, I haven't found more serious issue to point out.
How is this app different from the other hundred collage apps in the Play Store? I'm seriously not trying to be an ass, I really want to know whats new on this app.
Thanks!

Hey man..... I haven't tried your app yet..... Because I already use OCR instantly pro....... But the point I want to raise is that..... There are a lot of apps who can do this...... You should do something to stand out of the crowd...... Right?
So in case it is possible...... Maybe you could try something like real time selection from current screen wherever you are..... Much like CAPTURE2TXT for windows.....
Thanks very much

Totally agree, you should have something that will make your app outstand among such great apps like Tesseract, OCRopus, Conjecture, Anyline, OpenCV. :good:
By the way, how much can an OCR developer get in your country?
Thanks in advance.
