So today my phone froze while looking at pictures and when it came back on after it reset it says my SD card isnt supported. After about 5 attempts to format the card, i got it working again. And now its saying the same thing again. Anyone else having this issue??? And does anyone have a fix

Did you try moving your images elsewhere and then re-formatting in-phone and then re-mounting? That's what I'd try first, after a reboot.
I cant get to them now unless i take the card out and use a computer and im camping...

Sorry to hear. Have fun camping. Love it!

I posted this over in the android general section. Hoping someone over here might see it since its on my Infuse.
I have a similar problem that many people have had with downloading apps from the market, however none of the solutions i have seen work. I purchased ADW Launcher Ex from the market the other day and it wouldnt authorize. I replaced all my billing info and then it authorized fine. I click on the purchased button and it authorizes, then says starting download, but after about 5 seconds it just stops and goes back to the bottom of the "my apps" list. I dont get a notification saying the download was unsuccessful, but when i try to download and install again, it says download unsuccessful and just goes through the same process all over again. Anything and everything else downloads and installs just fine.
I have tried wiping data and cache of the market and download manager.
I have restored my phone using CWM to a previous backup.
I have reinstalled my custom rom.
I tried an alternate rom.
I have reset my phone to factory.
I reinstalled the stock rom.
I tried logging out of and back into Talk.
I added another gmail account as well.
If ANYONE has any other ideas PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Stupid google hasnt emailed me back yet, so i figured id probably get more help here anyway. Thanks in advance.
Your external SD card is causing issues with the mounted filesystem.
Try backing up everything that's on the card in your pc first, and then format the card. See if your purchases load then...

Just tried that and it didnt work. Downloaded GTG's ultimate unbrick to go back to complete stock. Still not downloading. I have no idea what else i could possibly do.
Try to set up a new account and see if you can down load things through that.

Im able to download everything else just fine with the same account. Its only ADW for some reason.
And of course im still waiting for google to get back to me.
Dont know why. But it just decided to download all on its own. Thanks for all the suggestions.

It takes some time to authorize a purchase sometimes. I bought Launcher Pro, and it said "authorizing" and didn't download. I went to bed and when I woke up it had downloaded.

I was trying to config my office mails on my mobile which required Encrypting the Device and set password..
So i was running PAC on my mobile which was unable to Encrypt the device, so I've flashed the BB ROM and then tried to Encrypt Device after few seconds mobile got restarted and stuck on Boot Screen, so i have tried to restore ICS & CM10 backup but no use it was same then i tried to restore the GB Stock ROM backup and it worked with out any issues ...
Now i have 2 Questions/Issues....
1. Have any one tried to encrypt the device using CM10 or BB ROM is it working fine for you.
2. After this issue when i flash CM 10 / PAC / BB ROM mobile is stuck at Samsung Galaxy R splash screen.
I tried to this but had no luck . I am on Ics 4.0.4 ,when you try it keeps asking password for the samsung account and nothing happens after entering the password

Did you try to reformat it? Either on the phone or a computer.
Yeah..tried.
But no card reader read it.
And then my phone also stopped recognising it

Do you still have that card? Maybe the partition table got also corrupted. You may be able to resurrect it with Linux.
No.. Misplaced it long back :'(

Every now and then i get a message saying that the SIM card is missing, even though it is inserted. When i take it out after this, i get another message saying that the SIM card has been removed (different message).
All results in a prompt to restart the device when i insert it again. No way around that one, cant even press back or home.
This never happened before updating to Stock XXCLL1 JellyBean 4.1.1.
What can be the problem? Need some input on how to solve this, also is anyone else experiencing this?
Bump.

Just an FYI. I got this a lot on the rooted deoxed rom I ran. I even changed the sim without any luck fixing it.
Since I've flashed Humberos' Cm10.1 rom I have not had one message!
Worth a try if you're not addicted to stock.
Cheers

My phone was working well the entire day, but at one point it froze up and I had to reboot it.
It rebooted fine, but as soon as it got to the SD card media scan, the entire phone would freeze up for 10 minutes before shutting off. This happens every time I turn on the phone.
I pulled out the SD card and tried again, but it still does the same thing.
Help!

Weird. Try factory reset
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Very weird indeed.. Phone was running fine for 6 + months and then this happened. Oh well, I performed the factory reset and it seems to be working fine.
I did a hard reset just to see if the media scanning bug happens again, but it's competely fine. hm.... well thanks anyways for the suggestion!

.. wait.. nevermind, the damn bug is back. I really have no idea what's going on with this thing. It randomly froze up so I did a hard reset, and now it does the same thing - freezes up at the SD card media scan.

I honestly don't know what a rogers version is. But if its same as any other infuse with a Sim try flashing one of these Roms. Do factory reset them flash the ROM.

1- longshotshot...I had same symptom once....resolution was to uninstall my custom launcher (Holo launcher). Don't ask me why bit it always made it about to end of scanning and then rebooted right about then. Some info about my particular problem is posted in Zen's toolkit thread. Also maybe try uninstalling other programs that start at bout

Hi, ive just upgraded to Android 5.0.1 manually (13mb update from 5.0 didnt flash) by flashing each img Individually.
The problem in facing is that my phone no longer thinks it has any storage. Ive tried various different apps and some detect it and others don't. The only thing I have done that might of caused this is recovering my user data, but other than that, everything went fine.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Or does anyone know a fix?
Thanks in advance

I had the same issue, 4 reflashes of the full 5.01 later .... grrrr
I can't say what caused it, I can only attribute it to a an app that was causing it. I had google restoring all my apps at once and each time I let it do that the SD would disappear/unmount.
On the last rebuild I installed apps one at a time and so far it's been all good. If it was an app I don't know which one, I haven't installed absolutely everything I had on originally.
No help at all huh ?
Cheers

I had something like this happen . Are you using 4.4 and 5.0?
This happens quite often. Download a terminal emulator and run "su" (enter) and then "restorecon -FR /data/media/0" (enter) and reboot.

Haven't tried this yet but I wish this solution was around a week ago, I've had to reinstall everything manually, rather than restoring it
Thanks nonetheless

The solution has been around in a thread called "sdcard problems" in general for a long time. Always try to search
