does anybody know if the delay of the camera button on our Z3 is adjustable (how long you have to hold it till the camera App opens)? It's a bit long for me..

up and down d pads work when ur trying to take picture in landscape. and left and right if ur doing portrait.

I'm wondering if it's possible to map the camera shutter to a physical button. I had this on my Nexus One and it was awesome.
In the mean time you could use smile detection if its for self shots haha..

If you use the long button on the RHS of the phone, your wishes will be granted...
The volume rocker doesn't work, but the smile feature does.

Can somebody make this mod:
in gingerbread camera when you press the power button, the touch screen and buttons stop working and the camera is locked recording and there is no way you can accidentily hit the Stop button.
in ICS this is not there and i often press the stop button by accident: I film myself with my hands on the touch screen.
Is there somebody who can make this mod or point me in the right direction making this APK.

I have read almost all of the post regarding underwater photography with the Z3 (Z2 , Z1 ...).
However there is one thing that I'm not able to figure out or find how to do it, and that is how to start and stop video recording with the hardware buttons while in the camera ? In the camera settings there is an option to use the volume keys as a shutter, but the only thing that this does is to take a Photo with both volume up and down buttons.
So if anyone knows how can i take Photos with the shutter and start Videos with some other hardware button without having to switch modes, please share how it's done.
