[feature request] auto change the TV refresh rate (Hz) to match the video (FPS) - MX Player

hi guys, as a long time user of mx player pro i'd love to make use of it on my nvidia shield android tv as well. however, since nvidia implemented the ability for apps to change the TV refresh rate (Hz) to match the video (FPS) a couple of updates ago, it looks like mx player missed the boat in this respect to "competitors" like kodi, plex and archos :-/
please see below settings screens of both kodi / spmc and archos player (i could add plex settings as well if that helps) - I'd really love to see this option in mx player as well - many thanks!

Would love to have dynamic refresh rate switching. Any chance to have it implemented on the Shield TV?

Play on Roku - Play music/pictures from Android device to Roku device

For those who use a Roku, you may find this of interest. Roku has updated their Roku App with what Roku is calling "Play on Roku". This new feature will allow you to stream music and pictures from your Android (or iPhone) device equipped with the updated Roku App to a supported Roku device. Per the Roku blog announcement; "Play on Roku works with all Roku 2 models, the current-generation Roku HD player (model #2500), and Roku LT (models #2400 and 2450), as well as the upcoming Roku Streaming Stick."
It should be noted that what music or picture formats are supported may be dependant on the Roku 2, Roku HD and Roku LT supported music/picture formats.
Note that the update Roku App DOES NOT, at this point, stream video from your Android device to the Roku box.
You can streaming pictures in a slide show format, with limited options on slide show speed and transition effects. There is also the option of playing music during the slide show. The options to set slide show speed, transition effects and music selection is set via the Play on Roku screen Menu option. Note when viewing pictures the music will only pay once the slide show is running (press the Play button to start the slide show).
The music streaming feature allows for Playlists, selecting by Artists, Albums and Songs. Note that when selecting Songs it sorts Alphabetically (at least it did for me) and not by song track. If album art is embedded into the song file it will be displayed as well.
There is at least one bug that I've experienced so far. If I'm streaming video with my Roku 2 XS and exit the Roku App on my Nexus 7, the Roku 2 XS dumps out of the streaming video and goes to the home/main menu screen.

Feature Request: Float Video Player & Streaming Recoding

Helo Developers. Kindly Add two of the Very Needy & Futuristic features in MX Player Pro.
1. The MX Player must be of Floating video player. we can watch videos while playing games or texting to someone. As it is so much needed feature.
2. The MX Player Must Record the Live TV Streams. It should be added.
3. The MX Player Must Support to Save organize the Tv streams List according or desire by user.
I hope so, developers must have keen observation on it. And we enjoy also these features in near future. Thanks.

[Feature request] Automatic frame rate switching

Hello,
I'm a registered user of MX Player (MX Player Pro) and I miss this feature on my NVIDIA SHIELD TV. NVIDIA is not going to add automatic frame rate switching because they say this feature should be implemented in each video application, not in firmware. MX Player is the video player with the best picture quality I have ever seen, but this feature is necessary on NSTV because we have to set the frame rate manually in Settings for each video file.
Thank you. Best regards.
I need this function for Amazon Fire TV 4K too. Please implement this, if possible. Hint: The SmartYouTubeTV app (free on github) has working AFR.
Please implement this feature! The Vimu Player, Plex, Emby works better!

or KMplayer.
If you use Kodi and set MX Player as the default video player in playerfactorycore.xml it will switch the refresh rate first, then send the video to MX Player to handle the playback.

MX player in TV Zion not casting to Chromecast

Hi there,
when I choose or set my MX Player as a default player in TV Zion or any other similar app on my Android phone with the latest OS update - it works just fine and I can watch the video on my phone, works perfect.
However, when I try to cast the video that I am watching on my TV through Chromecast and press Chromecast icon on my video screen and choose "Chromecast", I get on my TV just a picture with text: MX Player - Choose the video...
What do I need to do to get the video which is already running on my phone to be shown on the TV?
Thanks for your help.

subtitle positioning and botton of screen

Well, this is a problem for MX player already solved in other major competitors like kodi, nplayer and NOVA. It's a pitty that MX player developers doesn't fix this for android tv, it's just a matter of allowing subtitles to go below "0". It's a purely coding problem easily solved in hours. I hope plex doesn't solve it before you guys because then there will be no way people will use MX Player anyway. By now is still better than kodi (wastes less resources), better than NOVA (better PQ and sound) and better than nplayer (it's not forgotten), but plex android tv player uses exoplayer and it gives better PQ than Mx Player any day of the week, the problem with plex is the subtitle department that doesn't give a f#ck about users outside USA.
I sincerely hope MX Player listen to this and be the first android tv video player to give 100% full support for subtitles. And make no mistake, it's still the best in changing font and colors and outlines, but i don't understand how it forgot to let users put the subtitles in the bottom of screen (this problem only happens in android tv). I know in android pie smartphone you cna do it with touch or with a mouse and scroll subtitles down while playing a video but that doesn't work on android tv even with a mouse.
The problem is android tv is different than android pie (in smartphone) the botton of screen in a smartphone is higher than in a normal 16:9 TV, so when you apply the bottom in MX Player to a TV it doesn't go bellow the bottom of a smartphone.
