I was wondering If there is an application that can work OFFLINE tp phish fb or any Else social thing...
I had An idea of An app where you can select what social media login Page he must fake, the path where to store the passwords and some other basic phishing options.
As i do NOT want to ask for An evil app (or to create one)
This is for testing purposes only and a proof of concept to my friends.
So, could anyone give me a link to such ANDROID app or give me a message If someone wants to develop such app --- as i would like to sponsor the project ---
that works offline and as i said before in this thread?
Once again, this is not forcing evil purposes but to show that it would be possible. NOT MEANT FOR ANY BAD PURPOSES, AS HACKING AND PHISHING ARE ILLEGAL. This is just a proof of concept (so to the moderators, please don't delete this thread)

This is a suggestion / request to the mods as well as an invitation to all site members to contribute any info they have on this.
At the moment there are no real viruses for windows mobile devices, only a few proofs of concept.
But I have encountered a few examples of supposedly normal commercial software that I really wouldn't want installed on my phone.
Example 1:
A while back a small company (who's name I no longer remember) sent a letter to all its customers threatening that the anti-piracy protection on their software will damage your bootloader if a cracked version of one of their apps is discovered on your phone.
Example 2:
It was reported a while back that Agile Messenger sent user names and passwords for all messenger services unencrypted through the net potentially giving anyone access to your accounts.
Example 3:
While reading the EULA for Opera Mini I discovered it sends users phone number and all their browsing data (cookies, history, cache) to the Opera ASA server basically spying on your internet activities.
Unfortunately all the threads dealing with these otherwise nice and useful apps have now moved deep in to site history so any new users or just someone who haven't been on the site for a while is likely to miss them.
My proposal is this:
Create a sticky locked thread, I think the general section would be most appropriate, so anyone visiting the site would be able to see the list of programs he might want to avoid.
Why lock the thread?
As I understand it moderators can still edit locked threads any time they want so there are two reasons to keep it locked from the general public:
1) To keep the list clear and easily readable.
I am sure many people will want to comment on the software even if it is just to say "how dare they do this?", but any comments / questions would be better off in separate threads.
2) To be fair to the software creators.
I think that anyone making a claim against a software should provide some minimum proof. Like the email quoted in example one, comm log dump or screen shots. At the very list confirmation from other users.
This site has a lot of impact on the mobile community and it would be a shame if a wrongfully accused software would suffer due to being publicized as damaging here.

I have written a custom web application for a specific business, that allows schedule tracking of jobs, allow comments to flow between staff members and clients, and pictures to be uploaded.
This application is just starting to take off, but I am getting a huge request for dedicated applications for the mobile devices. (WM, Blackberry, Palm).
I am a web developer and know nothing about programming for the devices, so I am needing to find someone with great knowledge of this type of work, and can knock out the project in a timely manner, and be able to provide support and upgrades as I under the web application.
I will be looking to roll out one application at a time, and go from there. If you would interested in this project please PM me with some form of contact info.
I will be requiring all source code be provided and you must speak perfect english, as this can effect the output of the application
Hi does anyone want me to publish their application(s) or game(s) on the Android market please note though I can only set their price to free, if you have any send me an e-mail explaining the app and why you want it published send that with a few icons (one that's 512x512 at least) and I'll test the game(s) or app(s) and publish them free of charge... but only if I'm satisfied

I can't think of any scenario except when the app is malware, where a developer would want to do this.
if someone went through the hard work of developing an app or game, why wouldn't they just post it on the market themselves instead of having you as the middle man?
I am uncomfortable with this suggestion and the possible ramifications with regards to fraud, malware, taking credit for other peoples work etc.

Hey guys, what are your thoughts about app streaming service that's being rolled out by Google and Rovio?*I also saw a startup (nenlitech [dot] com) providing similar service. Basically, the idea is to make an app playable on web, so potential users don’t need to download (and pay) to try out apps. You can promote your app/game and have people try it out more easily. Do you guys see this as a useful service to spend money on?*

As long as there is a valid download link and only one link to the video we will allow it but I do agree with the post above, it is better to write tutorials rather than just post a link to a video

Best way to block porn on android that i've found is to use a Private DNS in your phone Settings like adult-filter-dns.cleanbrowsing.org and then use an AppLock(also give Advanced protection so the app could not be uninstalled) to lock Settings and Playstore,obviously you have to ask someone close to you to set an applock pattern or password for you and don't forget it so when you need to enter settings or playstore you would ask him/her to enter the password.
There is also an app called Bulldog blocker that is very helpful,i've used the app for a couple of days and you can set a timer from where you will have to wait an hour,three,one day or two days in a weak moment to unlock the app or uninstall it but i've found that the app it doesn't work all the time,also i've encountered slow internet connection because the app uses VPN.
