[Completed] ZTE Blade Q Maxi - XDA Assist

I've had a lot of problems with this phone, FIrst off most rooting methods just simply don't work(SuperOneClick, Framaroot etc), so in the end i used iRoot which i luckily stumbled upon and it thankfully rooted my phone...or so i thought.
Turns out my "su binary" needs to be reinstalled so that i can finally use something other than Kingroot(I wanted SuperSU), and i've found F*ck all about how to do that,so skip a few months later and want to try a new rooting application, so i download SuperSU (again) and unroot without a hitch, use "Kingoroot" and the problem still persists, although Kingo says that my bootloader is locked, and so i 've been trying to unlock the bootloader for a while now to no avail, even after i downloaded http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/android-one-general/tool-master-tool-unlock-bootloader-t2997696 it reboots my device and just puts it into recharge mode, and BTW did i tell you that CWM doesn't work on my phone?
So, yeah in short, all i want is to install SuperSU and make it work (unlock the bootloader), and install a custom rom, thanks.

[Completed] PLEASE help trying to root Vodafone Smart Grand 6 ( VF-696 )

Hello all,
I have had this phone for a few months now and been trying to root it from the very first day.
I can't explain how frustrating it is.
I have tried the following:
- Every single one click root out there, Kingo, King, Towelroot etc.
- Every PC root too.
- Tried ADB commands.
I know i need to unlock the bootloader, but there seems to be no way to do this.
If i had to install a custom ROM? Would that allow me to root the phone?
PLEASE HELP. I know it might not be a popular phone but the are a lot of people out there looking to root this phone and it would help a lot if you could think of a way.:crying:

[Completed] ZTE nubia Z5s stuck in recovery.

I humbly implore the help of the android gods, for I am at my wits end!
For some background, I love this ZTE Z5s it's fast and snappy and well made. Recently I started playing around with google cardboard, got a VR box and I was very impressed. Especially with the cedar point roller coaster VR ride! Some of the other VR apps didnt work correctly, seemingly because I was on android 4.2 (On my Huawei P8 with android 4.4.2 it worked fine)
And so, I was on a mission to upgrade firmware to 4.4.2. seemingly a trivial task, since the 4.4.2 firmware was an official factory release.
When booting into recovery mode CWM 6.0.4.5 (which was in chinese btw. Yeah, a lot of fun to decipher. used English version as guide) I located the 'install from zip' option and pointed it to the new firmware. To my dismay, the update failed. The translation saying something like CWM 6.0.4.5 cant upgrade to 4.4.2 and i need a newer recovery manager.
And then... the recovery loop started. It doesnt boot into anything, shows the nubia symbol and goes straight to recovery.
I have since tried a factory reset, but to no avail. Same recovery loop.
Is anyone able to assist on this? Or have I just gained myself a shiny doorstop? lol
Is this the correct space to post this? Apologies if not.
Also, I have installed android SDK and device is not listed when I run the 'adb_devices' command. Was thinking I could put a 4.2 firmware back on the device, and run CWM again using this.

[Completed] Stuck in Bootloop while installing Chainfire 3D

Hey guys! i bought a HTC Desire 516 a year ago. a few months back i found out about rooting. so i rooted my phone. It worked really well for a while. I noticed my games were a bit laggy. So i found this app called Chainfire3D. i tried installing it. My phone rebooted and did not go past the Bootscreen. I spent weeks searching all the formus including XDA. i found awesome solutions(especially in XDA) but none worked for me. iIguess i know why it doesnt. I did not install CWM or TWRP on my device(my fault). Now all i can do is, boot into recovery mode and use adb to type random commands, again none works. Is there any other way around this? i thought of flashing CWM or TWRP through adb and then use the given solution. But i have no idea how to do so(I am a noob). Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks in advance.

[Completed] LG V935 help. I need a recovery so i can flash xposed. Please help if you can. Thank

Hello, my name is Gary and I have become pretty good at pushing my LGs to the max. What i mean is they haven't ALL ended up in the trash, but my latest attempts with my Gpad LG-V930 have came pretty darn close to rendering me with NO tablet. Anyway, since i cant find firmware for the V930 ANYWHERE, in any form, be it kdz or zip or any other way, I have resorted to
the LG-V935c kdz and lucky for me it works. I am rooted with Kingroot( I prefer SuperSU, but cannot get that to happen without having to flash the 935 kdz again and again, so at this point Kingroot is just fine. My question is can a recovery be manipulated into working also? So i can try pushing some Xposed on this thing or am i just S.O.L? Thanks for your time.
