Hi everyone
I have been having a problem with my theme store on my Rooted AT&T S7 and i am unable to download themes. i used to download and install themes before but i cant anymore. whenever i go into the theme store and identify a theme that i want and click download this window pop up "Theme Center mismatch - Theme Center could not support this content. (-1.0.300/S20002)". I have been searching endlessly for a fix and i didn't came across anyone who had or is having that problem. I unroot, factory reset several times, tried to flash to stock but no success with that , trying to find a stock firmware but unable and i created a new samsung account and the problem continues. I feel out of place being unable to theme my phone. Can anyone help please. i would really appreciate it. Thanks.
I assume you're using a Chinese rom - There is an option on Aurora settings to fix this but as that option is on Chinese I don't know where it is exactly. Though, after factory defaults you should not have any issue anymore - at least on me it worked but after I've played with Aurora settings this happened again.
Same problem I have been facing.
I'm having same issue as well after deleting theme center app and data reinstalled theme center straight from the rom I installed still getting same error

I have a similar problem that many people have had with downloading apps from the market, however none of the solutions i have seen work. I purchased ADW Launcher Ex from the market the other day and it wouldnt authorize. I replaced all my billing info and then it authorized fine. I click on the purchased button and it authorizes, then says starting download, but after about 5 seconds it just stops and goes back to the bottom of the "my apps" list. I dont get a notification saying the download was unsuccessful, but when i try to download and install again, it says download unsuccessful and just goes through the same process all over again. Anything and everything else downloads and installs just fine.
I have tried wiping data and cache of the market and download manager.
I have restored my phone using CWM to a previous backup.
I have reinstalled my custom rom.
I tried an alternate rom.
I have reset my phone to factory.
I reinstalled the stock rom.
I tried logging out of and back into Talk.
I added another gmail account as well.
If ANYONE has any other ideas PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Stupid google hasnt emailed me back yet, so i figured id probably get more help here anyway. Thanks in advance.
I have some graphic errors on the transparent notification bar.
This problim exists with different wallpapers and only while bar is transparent.
My phone is stock, no root.
Is there anyone with the same problem and know how to fix?
thats weird...
have you tried to see if the problem is still there after using a different scene / skin ?
if it is. Put back the stock wallpaper, and if it still doesnt fix it. try a factory reset.
has it always been like this ? or did it just happen out of the blue ?
It is still there with other scenes/profiles and with stock wallpaper.
I have this problem since first boot.
try a factory reset, if that doesnt fix it send it back
or root it and flash a different rom
Thanks! I will try to reset.
it seems to me its just a bug in the ROM or at least in the theme part of the ROM, providing there are no other issues with the phone i doubt it can be hardware related. So a wipe or a new ROM should fix it...
thats if you want to flash a new ROM ? Surely your into development and stuff because here you are.... on XDA lol
I will wait with unlocking until it is clear that there are no other problems with my phone, so i can send it back with warranty.
Hard resetting or flashing RUU will not solve this problem, I've tried it.
I have found more strange graphic errors in themes and background menue.
Can someone check this on his phone?
I will find out if it stands in context to the notification bar problem.
that looks like a damaged screen Is it only there on that particular app. or is it there all the time, even on homescreen..
have you checked for updates under settings ??
you could either root and flash a new ROM, or send it back and get a replacement.. i would send it back. because if it comes back after modding the device. They may not replace it.
Hello all,
Last night I got the notification to update my Viper software to 1.7.1 and today I noticed that i can not access my settings>app manager page. I get the error "unfortunately, Settings has stopped. this also happens when I go to settings>Power>Usage. If i got to settings>data then I get the error "Unfortunately, the process com.android.settings has stopped.
I tried using titanium backup to try and delete recently installed apps, I also went into recovery and deleted cache but still no luck. I can install apps form the play store but if I try to even drag and drop to uninstall I get "unfortunately, Package installer has stopped". I dont know what to do, my phone still works but its annoying that this is happening. any suggestions? I really dont want to have to restore my phone and lose all data.
Thank you,
Also if anyone knows how I can change my text color on viper. For some reason I have white text and a white background in some menus which is strange because I am using the Viper Dark theme.
unfortunately that sounds like a bad install, I would try to just reflash the rom only wiping dalvik/cache and see if the problem persists. If it does you might need to do a factory reset. Fortunately TiBu and the HTC backup assistant can get your phone right back to where it was in no time so that shouldn't be too bad.
Also I'm using viper dark and don't have your text problem so I would definitely assume a bad install.
Yep you were right I had to re flash it, which I guess was a learning experience because it wasn't hard at all. Thanks
Hello,
Recently I updated my MT7 to latest firmware and now I have issues with themes - at first they were working well but after a day the icons reverted back to stock. After I try to change the theme - only thing what has been changed is wallpaper and lock screen wallpaper aswell. No other modifications are made. I tried to wipe the cache, restarted several times but nothing seems to work. Anyone else have faced this kind of issue in the past?
Note: I haven't installed any new apps during this time (whay may cause the issue).
Thanks!

Hi. Try a factory reset.
So I've installed this Font Installer Root app from the Play store and it worked fine changing the font after reboot. After I noticed the font isn't to my liking I tried changing the font again and after another reboot the old font kinda stuck and won't change. I figured if I do a factory reset it might change things back to normal but it didn't. Can someone please help me get my old font back and I know I'll never be using that app again. By the way I tried contacting the developer but had no luck getting a response. My phone is rooted but I have no custom recover nor any custom ROM installed. I hope I'm typing this in the right section.
