[Q] Themes issues. - Ascend Mate 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
Recently I updated my MT7 to latest firmware and now I have issues with themes - at first they were working well but after a day the icons reverted back to stock. After I try to change the theme - only thing what has been changed is wallpaper and lock screen wallpaper aswell. No other modifications are made. I tried to wipe the cache, restarted several times but nothing seems to work. Anyone else have faced this kind of issue in the past?
Note: I haven't installed any new apps during this time (whay may cause the issue).
Thanks!

[Q] Notification bar graphic problem

I have some graphic errors on the transparent notification bar.
This problim exists with different wallpapers and only while bar is transparent.
My phone is stock, no root.
Is there anyone with the same problem and know how to fix?
thats weird...
have you tried to see if the problem is still there after using a different scene / skin ?
if it is. Put back the stock wallpaper, and if it still doesnt fix it. try a factory reset.
has it always been like this ? or did it just happen out of the blue ?
It is still there with other scenes/profiles and with stock wallpaper.
I have this problem since first boot.
try a factory reset, if that doesnt fix it send it back
or root it and flash a different rom
Thanks! I will try to reset.
it seems to me its just a bug in the ROM or at least in the theme part of the ROM, providing there are no other issues with the phone i doubt it can be hardware related. So a wipe or a new ROM should fix it...
thats if you want to flash a new ROM ? Surely your into development and stuff because here you are.... on XDA lol
I will wait with unlocking until it is clear that there are no other problems with my phone, so i can send it back with warranty.
Hard resetting or flashing RUU will not solve this problem, I've tried it.
I have found more strange graphic errors in themes and background menue.
Can someone check this on his phone?
I will find out if it stands in context to the notification bar problem.
that looks like a damaged screen Is it only there on that particular app. or is it there all the time, even on homescreen..
have you checked for updates under settings ??
you could either root and flash a new ROM, or send it back and get a replacement.. i would send it back. because if it comes back after modding the device. They may not replace it.

+1
after spending quite a few hours following "tips" and directions from various sources, factory reset was the only one that resolved the incompatible <blah> shared user id issue!!
I think my issues were when i flashed the JB rom with mobile odin..
First i was on PA3.5 and it wouldnt work for some reason although at the time i was very tired as waiting a very long time to download the rom with slow speeds so maybe i did something wrong?.decided to flash recovery back to earlier version of Skyhigh Rom that was working ok then from here i installed the new stock rom over the top with mobile odin.It booted up and gave the android is updating screen.then loaded up with my custom launcher from the skyhigh rom.I thought this was funny as really should have wiped everything.I didnt even get the language change screen or set up its like it kept my old settings from skyhigh. Its as though it updated it and kept everything similar to an OTA update.as posted had the problems with Maps But then factory reset fixed it and wiped it clean again. This time i got the Laungauge screen on start up and the new stock lock/home screens..

[Q] Theme Element Stuck

I'm running a CM12 nightly on my OnePlus One currently. I installed and applied a theme (lets call it theme A) successfully, however now when I try to switch to another theme, including the stock theme, the notification drawer header is stuck as it was colored by theme A. Regardless of how I reapply the stock theme or other themes and restart I can't get it unstuck.
Any suggestions? I've got a couple roosters here ready to try some voodoo...
It is a know bug, just clean flash the latest nightly and all should be fine.

Clean flash, as in wipe everything, flash and reinstall all my apps?
Yeesh, that sounds like a lot of work for a minor problem
Got the same problem on 11s once. Rebooted and all was well.
Try wiping cache?
Did you end up fixing this problem?
I am currently facing the same problem..

Simply reboot after setting a theme. This is a cm theme engine problem. If you was to swap theme A to theme B you would still have this problem with pulldown.

[SOLVED] Lockscreen problem (Swipe doesn't work)

Hello, first of all I need to mention that; Recently, I've installed Lockscreen from Playstore, ZUI Lockscreen or something like this, and since this, my lockscreen is broken.
So I just flashed XOSP Rom (no dirty flash) and also latest Open GApps but I have a big problem, when I set lockscreen setting to "Swipe" I don't have any lockscreen, but when I set PIN or anything else, it works.. I've tried other ROM/Gapps I still have this problem.
Tried to wipe everything and reinstall, no luck.
Could anyone help me please ?
Thanks !
Maybe flash back to stock and start over? Not sure why but a complete flash back to stock, including the userdata.img file will solve the issue.
That's what I did some hours after my post, it's fixed now. That was really weird. I didn't wanted to do that but now it's done !
Anyway, thank for the reply.

How to fix Theme Center Mismatch (S7)

Hi everyone
I have been having a problem with my theme store on my Rooted AT&T S7 and i am unable to download themes. i used to download and install themes before but i cant anymore. whenever i go into the theme store and identify a theme that i want and click download this window pop up "Theme Center mismatch - Theme Center could not support this content. (-1.0.300/S20002)". I have been searching endlessly for a fix and i didn't came across anyone who had or is having that problem. I unroot, factory reset several times, tried to flash to stock but no success with that , trying to find a stock firmware but unable and i created a new samsung account and the problem continues. I feel out of place being unable to theme my phone. Can anyone help please. i would really appreciate it. Thanks.
I assume you're using a Chinese rom - There is an option on Aurora settings to fix this but as that option is on Chinese I don't know where it is exactly. Though, after factory defaults you should not have any issue anymore - at least on me it worked but after I've played with Aurora settings this happened again.
Same problem I have been facing.
I'm having same issue as well after deleting theme center app and data reinstalled theme center straight from the rom I installed still getting same error
