LINK CROSSOVER 15.5 alpha1
Produced by CodeWeavers, CrossOver is a commercial version of the more well-known Wine, the application that lets you run Windows programs on other operating systems such as Mac and Linux. commercial version means that additional technical support and an extremely simple configuration system to enable rapid installation for all users. The CrossOver operation is extremely simple and takes place thanks to a virtual desktop. With CrossOver will be even able to start video games on Steam. That said, it should not get excited too because the hardware of Chromebooks and Android tablets are certainly not at the height of the most intense games from a technical standpoint. Another important limitation of CrossOver is that it can only be used on Android devices that use an Intel processor, a big nut to crack since the Android tablet with this type of processors are not that common at the time.
I have test the app on Intel PC x86 with REMIX OS 6.0

THANKS TO:
CodeWeavers

As you wrote the main problem is that only intel based tablets can handle this app

It would be great on Remix-OS for PC as most PC's use Intel Processor's.

Playing old Mattel LED games under Windows Mobile

Back in the late seventies or early eighties, you may have had a Light-emitting diode (LED)-based handheld game console. They were manufactured by Mattel and a complete list of them is available HERE. They were pretty simplistic but still great fun and are, today, very hard to find (they’re typically a collector’s item offered accordingly at high prices).
Should you want to play some of these games under Windows Mobile (or, for that matter, Palm OS or the desktop Windows (even Vista)), you will want to turn to Peter Hirschberg’s LEDhead, the faithful reimplementation of some of these games. While only part of the original LED games have been re-implemented (compare the list of the originally available games HERE and the implemented games HERE), you may still find the currently available games fun or, at least, nice to bring up memories of those ages.
Fortunately, the games run flawlessly on all Windows Mobile devices – even WM5 / WM6 ones. Some example screenshots of them running on VGA devices:

As in the desktop version, the main menu allows for selecting the game you’d like to play. You can also redefine the hardware buttons (unfortunately, the app doesn’t read all the buttons dynamically – that is, if your handheld has more than 4 buttons, it’ll still list only four)
Getting, using
Get the emulator HERE (alternate download HERE) . Unzip the file and transfer LEDhead.exe and LEDhead.dll to your handheld. Start the former; select the game to run in the left list and click Start Game in the upper right corner. You can also disable sounds (using the Mute checkbox) and assign controls to hardware buttons.
Note that it also has an SH3 and a MIPS version, should you have an old PPC2k handheld.

Meego = Nokia's Maemo + Intel's Moblin
For those who follow Meego OS for Mobile Devices, Tablets, Computers, etc, today is a great day as the Meego Conference 2011 will be going on and many devices will be shown off. For those who may not know, Meego summed up is the Full Linux OS put on mobile devices. What does this mean? It means that all the programs that run on Linux, can run on Meego as well and since they use the same code, the programs that run on the Smartphones, seamlessly transfer over to the Tablets, Computers, In Vehicle Infotainment systems and more. Also, OS'es that are programmed in Linux (Android, iOS, Symbian etc) can run on Meego due to Meego being full Linux. It already is stated that it can run Android Apps, Java Apps, Adobe Air Apps, Flash Apps and more on top of Symbian apps and of course it's own Apps. Meego already has lots of support from Developers and manufacturers but as any new OS, it will take time to really flourish. Here's how the creators sum it up:
"MeeGo is an open source, Linux project which brings together the Moblin project, headed up by Intel, and Maemo, by Nokia, into a single open source activity. MeeGo integrates the experience and skills of two significant development ecosystems, versed in communications and computing technologies. The MeeGo project believes these two pillars form the technical foundations for next generation platforms and usages in the mobile and device platforms space." - Meego.com
Here's a link of some of the support that Meego already has.
Here are some videos on Meego:

Definitely. Maemo 5 is awesome!! Meego is going to rock!!! I can't wait. Only 40 minutes left.
Video was down for a while but it's back up now.
Day 1 was a bust. Today's conference has to improve. It starts at 12pmEST

Fans of the torrent-juggling desktop client can now get their downloads direct to their mobile device, because uTorrent's launched a beta app for any Android device running version 2.1 or higher. It's currently free, with RSS support, fully adjustable upload and download speeds and the ability to play games in the background as you wait for your files. There's currently no limit on download sizes either -- just so long as you can stomach the data charges.
Unfortunately for iOS users, a uTorrent app for Apple’s platform is not coming anytime soon. BitTorrent Inc. apparently told TorrentFreak the company was currently “focusing on growing our Android clients.” However, a uTorrent remote app for iOS is available on the App Store. BitTorrent Inc. has also been working on a Linux client, which was suspended for a while as the main uTorrent branch for Windows took on some major changes. Few companies want to be connected to BitTorrent in any way as the easy content distribution facilities it offers leads to software piracy.
uTorrent isn’t going to be the first native BitTorrrent app for Android, though. It might offer some neat features, but there have been native apps that allow you to download torrents. aDownloader and aTorrent are two such examples that are freely available on the Android Market. They allow users to download files over Wi-Fi and other 2G/3G data connections. According to TorrentFreak, there is definitely huge demand for BitTorrent clients among Android users. “uTorrent’s current main competitors are tTorrent, aTorrent, FrostWire and aDownloader, which have been installed by millions of users,” the report states.
uTorrent is extremely popular with some 140 million users using it each month, and that number is only increasing. The number of mobile phone users and also Android phone users is massive and many of them use smartphones with data connections.
It looks exactly the same as the Bittorrent Beta app .
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Would be great in combination with my new ROM Tracker .

Android Studio is a new Android development environment based on IntelliJ IDEA. Similar to Eclipse with the ADT Plugin, Android Studio provides integrated Android developer tools for development and debugging. On top of the capabilities you expect from IntelliJ, Android Studio offers:
Gradle-based build support.
Android-specific refactoring and quick fixes.
Lint tools to catch performance, usability, version compatibility and other problems.
ProGuard and app-signing capabilities.
Template-based wizards to create common Android designs and components.
A rich layout editor that allows you to drag-and-drop UI components, preview layouts on multiple screen configurations, and much more.
It is a preview version (v0.1) and it is avaliable for Windows, Linux, and OS X.

bro no need for that as link says that all!!!!
So how are they using IDEA, yet giving away for free?
I'm pretty excited to use this once it gets to a more stable (or "Beta" for Google) phase. Will there be a subforum on XDA for it?
