Chances are slim then. Try holding power button for about 10 seconds to make it turn off, then press power+volume down and hold it for a few seconds. Also try power+volume up button combo, I don't know if it would open something or not but you can try.

Unfortunately on this device, if you can't get to the bootloader and access fastboot, you are pretty much screwed. There is no download or emergency recovery mode I am aware of, so if you overwrote the bootloader you probably need to send it to Moto for reflashing/replacement or send it to a JTAG programming service.

please

I'm not sure what your asking for... Never heard of raw program for this device, the only thing available is the fastboot images for each partition.
Can you provide a link to the software your talking about?
Sent from my Motorola XT1575 using XDA Labs

Ahhh... OK. To my knowledge there are no directly compatible images for QPST for the Moto G 3rd gen.
On the good side, according to this article, QPST flashes seem to use dd images of partitions, and the factory images available from Moto contain those img files!
If you find a flashable file for XXX device that works with QPST and compare it with the Moto factory images, you may be able to find a working solution... or at least enough to get the bootloader working. If you can get the bootloader to load, you can fastboot flash the rest of it.
EDIT: BTW, if I can be of assistance, let me know. I have a working, stock XT1540 with an unlocked bootloader that is not a daily driver phone, so I can play with it (although I would REALLY like to not brick it). Also, if you can come up with an unbrick for this device and share it here, I am sure your 9 posts and 1 thanks would jump significantly and quite quickly.

You say hardbricked, you mean the phone doesnt boot right?
If you connect to pc, installs an driver named HSusb for qualcomm s1 emergency boot?
Normal it must do that.If not, press vol keys and put usb in.
Normaly you cant brick qualcomm emergency mode. If you get this driver installed, write me a pn. i can flash it back to normal recovery.

[Q] Bricked Nexus 5 d820

Hi everyone.
I had a hard bricked n5. I have not download mode,no fastboot, no recovery QHSUSB_BULK mode or Qualcomm 9008 device in Device Manager on PC.
Dead phone... I tried to repair my n5 with it (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142), but nothing.
I read, that someone repair his phone with bootsdcard. And i want to try this method, but i don't know what image i should install for unbrick my nexus. Can anyone give me a backuped boot.img from your LIVING device?
Sorry for my English.

First of all, that link is for the LG G2, and the partitions might not even be the same.
If it doesn't show any sort of device at all, or 9008, then your device is beyond saving except by LG/other professionals, who could repair it but won't bother and will just do a motherboard swap instead.
Questions also belong in the Q&A section, not the General section.
If you flashed the wrong partitions you might be in luck. Does the phone show on the computer?

Can anyone give me a boot.img(or other images for create bootsdcard) from WORKING device for repair my phone? May be it is one way to repair my nexus.
and what you will do with that "bootsdcard" when phone is not detected & there's no card slot?

I honestly think you're wasting your time but if you need the stock boot.img just download the factory image and pull it from there.

Question EDL mode

Hi, I'm having a brick issue with my moto g100, OEM is locked so I can't flash/boot anything. My only hope of getting it back is booting into EDL and blankflashing the device... problem is, I can't find a way to do so. Does anybody here know how to enter EDL mode with this phone? I've tried several button combinations, EDL cable, but nothing works. The only thing I've left to try is shortening the mobo pins, but I don't know which ones, let alone if the board even has them.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have a super easy solution. Go to the Google app store. And download the premium bugjaeger app on a different Android device so basically you're using another Android device to run fastboot commands just remember with Android 11 make sure you give both devices debugging access

If you can access fastboot.. try "fastboot reboot emergency"
I know this is prob too late for a suggestion, however have you tried chimera tool to bypass the edl lock? You don't have to pay for that part of the tool

Question Rog Phone 5 Brick

Hello to all,
I apologize in advance for this message.
I mistakenly bricked my phone,
It was running WW-18.0840.2201.226 (Android 11).
I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to use it again, but I'm sure I'll be able to use it again in the future.
The recovery mode does not work anymore. It remains stuck on the logo.
Concerning the device manager :
In Bootloader, nothing is detected
When I test the recovery mode, it detects 'Android Composite ADB interface'.
However, the ADB commands do not work (Unauthaurized)
This is a call for help, I don't know which tutorial to look at to help me.
Do I need to get a Deep Flash Cable to restore the phone?
Excuse my English, I'm French ^^'
Hi, I'm not sure, but I think you will have to delete this POST... It doesn't respect the forum rules... That said, you can follow this link for your problem. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...to-unlock-bootloader-to-modify-country-cn-to- ww.4353865/não lido
Hi Rico,
If I have to delete the post I will do it, it's not a problem.
Do you think I can put this post in the topic you gave me?
I had come across it in my research but I didn't know if it needed a Deep Flash Cable
I didn't know that my problem was similar to the one in the post because I don't have a 9008 mode

There is nothing wrong with your post at all.
Do you have access to see and send Fastboot commands to the phone when on the bootloader screen? You need to get that right first and get your driver on your PC sorted. Forget ADB, that's not going to help you here.
Once you have sorted the above, doing a RAW flash following one of the guides you can find on this form with a rom version that matches your device should get you back on track.
At this stage you shouldn't need EDL or a deep flash cable before exploring the above option.
Good luck.
Hello Andrologic,
Thanks for your reply
I only have access to the Bootloader with 'Start / Restart Bootloader / Recovery Mode / Power Off'.
I bought a Deep Cable, this one detects me when I connect it to the pc, previously my other cables did not want it
So I can indeed use the Fastboot commands whereas before I couldn't

Thank you very much Andrologic!
The phone works like magic again, I can't believe it T_T
When I should do the updates, should I reflash the phone?
It doesn't offer me any new ones even though I'm on Android 11

Nice. No, I would suggest updating the conventional way, i.e download ROM for ASUS and let the device pick it up and flash it. If you have TWRP installed, you can flash from there too, but there is no need for that unless the first method is not working

QFIL "ERROR: the opreation is not allowed for write..."

when trying to flash STOCK rom for my hard bricked Vivo Nex 3s in EDL mode, I get that error.
I even put the firmware folder into the same one as QFIL, but to no avail.
I'm using rawprogram_unsparse0.xml and patch0.xml.
The bootloader is locked and I hadn't enabled developer options...
the firmware file doesnt have rawprogram0.xml, so I'm using the one I mentioned.
My phone is stuck in bootloop, because I accidentaly downgraded my phone, and now its stuck at saying "updating", and constantly reboots.
PLEASE SEE LOG IN ATTACHMENT!!
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Maybe the issue is that the bootloader is locked and my developer options are disabled ? Can I still flash roms of those things are locked?

Sure. Here it is:
EDL mode doesn't care about bootloader is locked or developer options. it's just a matter of correct firehose programmer.
