Hi,
You can carefully review this thread, and ask for help there if still needed,

Good luck!
I think i got it
I had to downgrade firmware using LG Flash Tool and stock .kdz file.
I followed this and it worked fine: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190
And i downloaded firmware from here http://www.smartphenom.com/2014/07/lg-optimus-l9-ii-d605-firmware.html version D60520A solved my problem, i never tried 20B version and version 10A gave me bootloop.. Be careful
Now towelroot works and i'm happy again!
So I was wondering if my phone is "young" enough to get the marshmallow update and after a lot of googling I could not get a clear answer...
I own the LG Optimus G Pro E986 and it is almost 2 years and 9 months since the manufacture date and its current OS is Jellybean...
I searched on some sites and found out that LG will allow the marshmallow update on LG G phones first, if I remember correctly, but is LG still updating Optimus G Pro phones? Is there still a way I can get marshmallow? If not, I guess I will install lollipop and would appreciate if you could suggest a good ROM for my device!
Thanks

Hello,
This forum is for newbies finding their way around XDA Developers, it isn't a development forum.
You may head over to Optimus G Pro Android Development and find an appropriate ROM for yourself.

Hi guys,
I have an LG G2 D803 phone, and the guy who sold it to me, did so that i'm unable to update the android version on my own.
i currently have 4.4.2 and i want to update to 5.0.
i haven't yet rooted my phone since i didn't find the proper ROM to help me with this issue
if anyone has any idea what should i do, i'll be glad to get your help
anybody might know...??
has anyone found a want to root the LS770 running 6.0 yet I have been searching everywhere
Nope. And as long as LG keeps the bootloader locked on Boost's version of the OG Stylo on Marshmallow, there never will be root. You're better off looking for another device.
HAHAHA
Sweet I love buying new phone's NOT Basterds
Hi, I have got a LG G Pro 2 F350K model running on stock Android 4.4.2. I would like to change the OS from Korea version to international one and at the same time, upgrade the OS to at least Android 6.
I have never done it before and I want to choose the safe upgrade option. Not keen to have the latest android.
Could somebody please guide me ? I need step by step guide or somebody to walk me through the upgrade.
thanks.
anybody?
its depends on which file extention of firmware do you have.
if you have .kdz, use LG Flash Tool 2014
if you have .tot, use LGFlashTool 1.8
or you can try this https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2665209
how to use it? just search G2 forum or G3 forum.
this G Pro 2 forum is dead.
only a bunch of people searching for an updated ROM.
