[Completed] Acer Z200 Does Not Charge - XDA Assist

I have an Acer Z200 smartphone and recently it is pretty much dead.
It started out with having charging problems (I would try and charge it but the battery just kept draining).
I have tried looking for a solution online, and I found out that many other owners of this smartphone have had the same charging problems but there really isn't a solution.
I think the most likely cause of this may be the battery died; but I also have some doubt in that because I have had past smartphones where the battery stopped working and you could usually see that the battery inflated a bit in size. With the Acer phone, the battery looks in pristine condition (although, that still doesn't mean that the battery isn't the cause of course).
If anyone has a solution to this, please reply ASAP.
Thanks.

[Completed] Battery drain

Hi all,
Heard from someone that if you put matte finish screen protectector to your Smartphone it will drain battery faster than the normal? has anyone heard of it how far its true.... just a curiosity
Hi!
I've never heard such a thing. I even searched and found nothing. And I can't imagine how it can affect battery life.
We usually are here to point the way to users, but I'm afraid I have nothing I can point you to.
If you want to pursue the question, you could ask in the general section however....

[Completed] [Q] Problems with a Monster M7

Howdy, y'all; trying to find information about my Monster M7 tablet.
I bought it last December when Walmart offered it for $100. Sounded like a good deal, considering the brand.
Like many others who bought one, my M7 has been problematic. After installing the latest firmware update from Monster (at the mymonstertablet.com/faq page), I'm now able to use all 16GB of installed memory (less that required by the O/S). OK; some progress.
After having purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (8" screen; I like it) lately for about the same price as the M7, I'll only use the M7 as a Chromecast controller, an OBD-II code reader, and to test EPUB docs that I develop. And maybe coupla apps before I completely forget how to build Java code.
However, until I solve the battery problem, it's mostly unusable. Even though the battery indicator shows fully charged, the M7 boots but only runs for coupla minutes before it quits. It runs correctly if a power adapter is connected to the microUSB socket.
I've read about /data/system/batterystats.bin, but this post indicates that deleting the file won't have the effect that some Android users think:

Where should I post about this Monster M7 problem?
Thanks much.
Please note, if Battery continues to give trouble, deleting BatteryStats will not help. you have a defective battery.

Thanks much for your reply. I'll repost at "Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting." I've filed a warranty claim with Monster. No response yet.

[Completed] Htc M9 New buy and a few problems

The htc m9 has been "living" with me for almost a week now and I have a few noticeable problems. First of all, the charging time does take a significant time. Like a whooping 6 hours or a bit more. Well, that's a bit too much. Changed charger and socket still the same. Haven't tried the original charger yet. Planning on to. The firmware is the 2.10.something.something. and the other thing is a small thing that kinda bugs me. The charging estimate time doesnt appear. Any way to make it appear?

[Completed] Multiple batteries at once

Dear XDA,
I have an s4 clone, and after a little messing about here and there, trying to install a custom recovery, a couple of stuff and i ended up with a recovery i cant access (looks like there is no recovery at all) and seems like i wiped my imei. The phone is cracked and the gyro doesn't work, so this is an experiment phone. I was thinking of wiring a few of my old phone batteries into that and taping/gluing them to the back. It might look hideous but it is an experiment. I have wired a bigger battery to another phone, positive to positive, negative to negative, and the central data wire to data. Worked flawlessly without any calibration or anything of that sort.
My question is, if i wire everything together, will all batteries charge? Do i need to edit some files to make it work perfectly? two of the batteries are 2500mAh and the main phone battery is 2100mAh. they don't have to work to the full extent, but at least give the phone some power. I use the phone as an ip webcam and monitor my WiFi with it so it just sits at home. What would be the best option to do without any kernel tweaks? I do not mind charging times, I do not mind the looks and shape, I just need it to boost my battery performance. Any help, ideas, links, etc. would be very handy
Thank you.
Hi,

[Completed] SONY SBH-80 repair

Hi everyone. I'm not sure If I posted this question in the right place. If not please let me know.
So I'm trying to fix a SONY SBH-80 Bluetooth headset. It is not charging and It wont start on. My guess is that the battery is dead. I researched to find any datasheet of it and/or which type of battery it uses, but I could not find . All I got is its manual and it mentions nothing of such problem or how to replace the battery.
Could anybody help?
Also If you experienced something like this before, could you please share it?
Thanks
I'm sorry, but XDA is for Android and Windows mobile devices. Your issue doesn't fall into that category.
I would suggest you take it back to where you bought it from, or to get in touch with Sony customer service. If it is an old pair of headphones (battery probably fried as you say), maybe it's time to look into investing in a new pair.
