I think the hardware (Gsm/LTE radio chip) of all Mate 9`s is the same, its just a regional difference in software versions.
So let's say that I have C185 or C180 (bought it from Dubai) can I change that firmware to C432 (european version)?

Hello, a question, I have received a Huawei p40 pro (ELS-NX9) Blue bought in a store in Spain. With Cust C636.
I will continue to receive new Firmware updates (rom), even if I have the cust 636 (Asia pacific) using it in Spain ?. I ask this, because I have read that if you have a phone with a different region than the Sim card you do not receive new firmware updates (rom). For example, will I receive version 10.1.0.131 (C636) using the phone with Spanish Sim?
I assume latest Huawei phones, doesn't need SIM for an upgrade
