[Completed] Need Help Recovering Data from Android Micro SD Card? - XDA Assist

Have a 64gb lexar micro sd card.
My phone was getting low on internal storage so I decided to use Micro SD card as pseudo-internal storage. Moved lots of important files of mine onto the card.
Then the phone started glitching out completely. Got notification warning saying to re-insert microsd. Re-inserted but all I could see was that 9.7gb out of 64gb was used up.
took that microsd card out and flashed a new rom onto the phone. Put the microsd into the phone but since its technically a new device now with new rom it cannot read the microsd.
Is there ANY way at all to recover the data from the microsd card? Including help from computer?

[Q] Corrupted SD card?

Hello,
I own an HTC Touch HD. I recently semi-bricked it by flashing a bad rom, switched to an Orbit II - including the 8GB SD card.
In the meantime I flashed a working rom back on my Touch HD, put my SD card back into the Touch HD and switched to that phone again. Everything seemed to be working, until I took a look at the SD card (both through the phone and through "Disk Drive".
However, now the SD card is only listed as a 968MB SD card, with most of the original files gone, and the remaining file/directory names and contents broken.
Now I don't have access to a Micro SD card reader, so I cant access it directly. I was just curious as to whether somebody has an idea how to fix this SD card again, or whether my SD card is broken.
The data on the SD card don't matter - just wanna know whether I should just buy a new SD card
I have found a lot of hits on Google referring to SD card reporting wrong sizes, but those were mostly about reformatting, which is definitely not the issue.
Also examining the SD card with diskpart didn't yield any relevant information.
Is this SD card really broken?

Hi here's a thread about SD cards that may help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1912084&page=3
However not all SD cards can be saved. Sometimes when they're corrupt its just time to get a better one.
Good luck

Hi there,
Have you tried another sd-card? Or reformat sd in recovery?
That's the first I should have tried, and in that order.

Hi,
SD cards fail all the time, so it could be the card has been corrupted. But for other opinions, you could ask about it here,

SD Card problem. Please help me.

Hello XDA.
This is my first time to come here and register, i heared that XDA is the best android developers website so i came here to request your help.
Lately i bought Lenovo Vibe S1 that comes with 2 Nano-Sim slots but if i'm going to insert a SD Card then there are 1 Nano-Sim slot.
I have a 4GB SD Card. I inserted it to the phone. The problem here that when i copy/move files to the SD Card it doesn't show in the apps. Like, moving Photos from internal storage to SD Card it doesn't appear in gallery. Same as songs, when i move them from internal storage to SD Card they doesn't show up in 3rd music player apps. Unless i unmount the SD Card from the settings and remount it. But it is a pain to unmount and remount when i move anything to the SD Card.
So, any help to fix this?
PS: I don't want to root, flash or install ROMs to my device.
Thank you for taking your time by reading my thread.
