So, all was working fine till I flashed CM13 on my N8000 for the third or fourth time. When I booted my battery just drained from 70% to 0 at the drop of a hat. I left it charging for 20 minutes so I could turn it on and finish setting it up again and when I did so, it was on 1% and it suddenly dropped to 0 and went off again. I booted into TWRP and again showing that the battery was at 1% and suddenly battery stats disappear on TWRP (probably meaning it was on 0). So I tried reinstalling CM13 but it didn`t work. It optimized all the 49 apps (from OpenGAPPs) and when it got to the home screen, boom, 1->0 and then dies. I`ve searched the internet for this issue and couldn`t find anything. I tried reseting my battery stats but I couldn`t do it either. Some random dude said it was located in data/system/batterystats.bin or something and when I get to these folders they`re empty already. That`s it. I hope anyone can help me because I`m like super screwed. Thanks!
Don't mess with battery stats bin.

Did you do something with your phone or did this happen all by itself?
Try flashing STOCK ROM via Odin.
Put your phone in recovery, Try wiping user data but it'll delete you contacts. If nothing happens then reflash.
Hi All,
I am facing the same issue. I upgraded my firmware from stock 2.2 to 2.3.3 GB around 6 months back and it was working fine till 2 days back. Suddenly 2 days back it started restarting itself and it ended in a boot loop. When I tried removing battery and started the phone, it semi resets the phone(like contacts and other settings getting deleted). I tried going to recovery mode and did factory reset/ Wipe cache and restarted my phone, but it was of no use. Today I tried to flash my phone with XXKPQ firware for which I flashed XXKPE first as per the guidelines given in Misledz's post. Flashing was successful, but it again ended in boot loop.
Guys, Please guide me on how to proceed with this. Its really irritating to see my phone in boot loop
Thanks a ton in advance.

I think this is a problem of psuedo reset...flash the stock firmware and take it to the service centre. They will replace the motherboard (you might even get 16GB internal memory )

Damn!! I am having the exact same problem and it also started a few days back!! Plus the phone heats up a lot during this with a massive battery drain.
I have tried hard reset, but no good so far and the phone is completely in stock condition DDKP3. Any Solutions??

It all started by itself...I am running the stock ROM only...I have tried clearing the cache and dalvik too..
Now i have flashed the recent ROM by Aditya (Titanium V3) and its having the same problem..!!
One more thing
One more thing that I have noticed is that whenever I press the home screen button after the phone is idle, the screen lights up and then the phone restarts suddenly resulting into boot loop..!!
After I recently installed someones rom. My phone will load to lg screen, then as my android is "optimizing app 1 out of 45" it shuts off and restarts, it's been doing this for half an hour now, i have it charging, i tryed unplugging it, it seems to restart quicker when unplugged. Anyone know whats up?

What rom hav u flashed ?? Did u do a clear flash??
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda app-developers app
after rom flashing did you reboot sistem or just flashed gapps an than rebooted ??
I think your problem is because of gapps, flash again and follow step by step indication from your flashed rom thread
It sounds like someone didn't do the necessary wipes before installing the rom.
or maybe is because of CWM recovery, some people had issues when wiping, and I saw some OP mentioning to do 2-3 wipes of everything
anyway, do 2-3 wipes and reflash
OK so I bought a phone off craigslist as a replacement for my gf, really unstable running the stock 2.3 firmware, did a factory reset, seemed to be stable afterwards but the battery meter constantly reads 100%, so I flashed it to 2.3 stock with ODIN, problem was still present, put clockwork mod on it, wiped battery stats, still was there. Installed a PAC MAN rom, still there, flashed back to stock 4.1 firmware, problem still present, and finally put the dirty unicorn ROM on it and its still stuck.
So I found a post saying to charge up all the way, delete the batterystats.bin file reboot in recovery wipe cache partition and davlik cache, power off and keep plugged in, disconnect charger reconnect and leave powered off but charging, then turn on, did that and leaving on till it powers itself off and its still stuck at 100%
Oddly when the phone is turned off upon first showing it does display the correct battery for about 15 seconds and then reverts to 100%
What is going on here, how do I fix this

u would need to try an oem battery and cable to see if it corrects the issue, if not then its probably the charging port, reading this post might help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2493751
An OEM battery really isnt a possiblity as no places sell it locally (sure I can order it online but this is a time sensitive project) and I really dont want to dump any further money into this project if its not going to work
I charged my Nexus 5 to 100% just before I went to bed, turned off radios, WiFi, location and data, I just woke up and the battery went down to 64% this is unacceptable, and this is only happening after I flashed android 5.1 Factory Images, never happened when I was on 5.0.1
Could this be because when flashing the FI, when I hit flash-all command only flashed boot loader and radios and then it gave me an error so I hit flash-all command again and same thing happened, after flashing the boot loader and radio gave the error, this happened 3 times after I restart my laptop, hit the flash-all command and it flashed the whole thing, after this I did a restore using adb
Any ideas if any of these can be the reason of the battery draining? Should I go back to 5.0.1 ? Can a reset fix this issue?

Enabling airplane mode does not mean you won't lose any juice. But the fall -36% during the night is not normal.
Anyways, it seems that we won't see you soon
Which wakelocks do you have on gsam battery monitor or bbs?

[Battery Life Help] Troubleshoot battery issues here!
Hi guys! i have a Lenovo Vibe Shot Z90A40 bought a week or so ago which i updated to Marshmallow 6.0.1.
but that update didn't satisfy me and have some bugs with major issue of Battery drain even on Standby
i've tried Reboot, cache clear, Turning off wifi scanning etc Even Factory Reset, but the problem still persist.
i want to Downgrade my phone to factory firmware Lollipop 5.0
So, i want a little help
which Stock Rom from the following two should i use
"Z90a40_USR_S218_150908_ROW_sdcard.7z"
"Z90a40_S209_150716_ROW_sdcard.7z"
and how to install it? I didn't find any instructions from where i downloaded them.
P.S. If any one have the better ROM then please give me the download link.
Thanks.
A factory reset after OTA should settle any weird batt drain. Just give it some time to settle down.

Did a factory reset. Gave it two days but all vain. still draining at 2% per 1 hour when standby at night.
Hi.
The same for me, but I improved battery rooting phone and installing Kernel Adiutor from Google play. Then choose in CPU powersave Governors. This steps stopped battery drain to a half in official S363 Rom..... but could be better. Maybe someone has other ROM or Kernel patched with some fixes?
I've used already that USR_S218 firmware.
1. Extract it
2. Rename it to sdfusez
3. Copy it to phone store top folder
4. Rename it back to sdfuse
5. Confirm everything is there as in the archive
6. Switch off phone
7. Power on while holding vol-down
8. It should boot to recovery mode (not update mode), choose SD update.
9. After flash , I upgrade to official s226 (through OTA) i confirm good battery life.
Now, I just upgraded to s240 (through OTA), i didn't test yet.

Draining 2% at 1 hour is normal because network also uses battery.
