I was looking to flash my girlfriends S6 to a custom rom and at some point made a mistake, getting the error "Custom binary blocked by activation lock" and being unable to boot the device. At this point I flashed the device to stock firmware and then the phone booted fine, I type in the activation email and password (in which the wrong email had been used and needed to be changed when originally set up) and it let me in fine. Then, I got a notification asking me to confirm the email which wouldn't work because it's the wrong email, so I selected sign out. Now it wont allow me to add a samsung account or access any samsung account related things, and not allowing me to turn off activation lock or change the account. I'm not sure what to do..
I recently discovered when I go to "Add an Account" there is a blank space selected that is likely the previous account.
I then went to application manager and disabled and cleared the cache of Samsung Accounts and also Samsung Applications, and enabled them again with no luck.
Log in to your account from pc and deactivate reactivation lock.

I cant because I would need to confirm the email (That doesnt exist).
I performed a factory reset using the Volume Up + Home button + Power button method.
When I rebooted the phone, I get a screen stating that the SIM card is activated and it has my phone number displayed. Pressing next gets me to the Samsung Account sign in screen.
It says that abnormal factory reset was done and that I need to sign in to my Samsung account to verify my identity.
When I try to sign in, it tries for a while and then I get a message that flashes momentarily, stating the there was an "error while connecting to SSL."
I know my Samsung user id and password are good since I can log in to my Samsung account through my PC.
I have a no WiFi indicator on the status bar, just LTE so I don't understand the SSL part.
Calling Samsung was no help. After almost an hour of online chat and calling the the help desk they switched me to their account support dept who said there was nothing wrong with my account and I need to call the jhelp desk again.
I have tried hard reset more than once with the same result.
Is there a way to get around this Samsung Account sign in screen so I can set up my phone?
Edit. Stock Lollipop no root
Edit: To add more information.
I purchased this phone on EBAY. I am trying to contact the seller to obtain the userid and password he used to set up the phone. I am not sure if I can get it or if this will solve my problem. Am I screwed or i there some other way around this problem?

Hate to say, but you probably bought a stolen phone. There was an article somewhere in Q&A about getting around it but I couldn't say if it works or not, and getting support for this here is a little taboo. None of us want to be responsible for helping someone hack into a stolen device.
Understood but the iemi was clean and I was able to activate it on Pageplus which is a Verizon mvno.

use odin to restore
Google Samsung S6 reactivation lock bypass. Try calling Samsung again, maybe even Verizon if you can't get hold of the seller from EBAY.
Yeah. Seller claims he never created a Samsung Account id. (Beginning to suspect origin of phone) Samsung said they don't have service centers in my area and the one in Atlanta (closest to me) is no longer in service. Haven't tried Verizon yet but what the heck. Time to return to seller for refund.
Hello everyone,
After several researches, I'm out of solution, I'm having a problem with Samsug account...
I cannot log into samsung account, before this it was already logged in but I wasn't able to sync my data so I deleted account from settings and try to add it again but now it says "Network error" and "processing failed". I tried to reset password but the probelm still remains. (See the video bellow)
Please help !
Thanks in advance

I had the same problem as you guys. Here is the solution.
- Go to Samsung web (account.samsung.com) to login if you have an account.
- Click profile and then on the unsubscribe button after login. This will remove your login details from Samsung.
- Come back to the Galaxy settings and click accounts and sync.
-Click add account. Then click Samsung and signup again as a new user.
This will fix the problem.

I get a notification from Samsung a few times a day asking me to accept Samsung's new terms and conditions. I have followed the link countless times I've logged into my Samsung account I have accepted the terms and conditions but the notification keeps coming up. Because of this it is preventing me from using the app store directly from the watch (can still download from my phone to watch) and is also preventing me from backing up my watch. The notification is very annoying and I would love to figure out why this is happening.
Anyone have a fix for this?
No one?
Can you check in Odin Mode... if Warranty Void is still:
Code:
0 (0x0000)
And if you are using stupid Reactivation Lock...
Best Regards
Doesn't show.
And no activation lock @adfree
I have forgotten Verizon have Software Revision 1 of Bootloader sboot.bin and it seems so no text about Warranty Void...
Reactivation Lock OFF is good IMHO.
1 idea is to log...
The other idea is to short deactivate Samsung Account App...
I have at the moment no idea how manually play with Samsung Account app on SM-R765A... because read and write protected...
Need some time to check older posts...
I remember you are not alone...
But no idea if someone fixed this problem easily...
Best Regards
Edit 1.
Trying to search for older Threads...

Look here:

Or try maybe to login over PC... something is here described:

1 year later and I'm still clearing the accept terms and conditions notification 10 to 12 times a day... please tell me someone has a solution by now.
