Hey there guys, today I made a custom Boot Image for my beloved OnePlus 2 and I felt that it was worth sharing to all the OP2 lovers on XDA, so I somehow managed to make a flashable zip of it as that is the simplest method to change the boot logo.
It would be amazing if anyone wants to share these somewhere else, but it is my sincere request to please give the author the credits for the same as it has really taken a lot of time in no only developing the flashable zips, but as well as on editing the photos. It just takes a second to give credits and it will also make me happy

Now taking custom Boot Logo Image requests. Can create one if you want, just post the details of the type of image you need, if possible describe with a rough drawing so that I can get an idea of the type of image that has to be created. Or if possible or required, provide an image (would be better if it can be provided in 1080x1920 resolution and in .png format) so I can create the flashable zip out of that image and post it
Edit: I made some more Boot Logos for my OP2, Uploading them with the flashable Zip files here
Edit 2: Added 2 more Call of Duty® Advanced Warfare Boot Images. Just going to create and upload the flashable zip in some minutes. Let me know how good they are
What is a Boot Logo ??
A boot logo is the first image that the phone displays when it is turned on. So here, we are basically changing that image to a custom one, as we all know that the OEM Boog Logos don't seem that elegant
Note: I am not responsible in any way if your device gets bricked or damaged, or enters bootloops. I have tested these mods on my device nearly 5-10 times and it is only after that that I am posting these here. So please proceed on your own risk !

This has been partially copied from OnePlus Forums which was originally posted by photragraph for his OnePlus One and I couldn't resist making one for the OnePlus 2 also.
Don't mistake Boot Image with Boot Animation. Boot Image is the image that shows up when you start your phone for a couple of seconds (the 1+ logo that shows up when you start up your phone). Boot Animation is something that everyone here on XDA knows
Here are the Boot Images that I have created:
1. COD OP2 Black

5. Original OP2
6. COD AW OnePlus
7. COD AW OnePlus Opposite
The zip files are provided in the attachments, GRAB THE ONE YOU LIKE ! Names are as written with the image in the above posted images.
If you feel like reverting back to the stock logo, flash the "Original OP2" from the below attachment.

Credits to @sewer56lol for providing the original Boot Image file :victory:
Thank you for reading. Feel free to share anywhere you wish but please give credits to the original author. It took me nearly 2 hours of bricking and restoring my phone just to change this Boot Logo, so I hope you understand.

Here is a cool Bootanimation -- I don't know who I should give credit to. I extracted it from Galaxy Note - TeamRocket ROM.
I just modified some loops at the end and change the pixel resolution setting to 600x1024 for our G-Tab.
If anyone knows who we should give credit to please post.
Enjoy.
Note: Thanks to Sir Otto, we have a shorter version. Go to his post for download link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26798166&postcount=14
To change your bootanimation, you will need :
1. root access and Root Explorer, or CWM.
Method 1:
Simply go to /system/media, place the attached bootanimation.zip in the folder replacing the original one.
Note: Please don't forget to back up your old bootanimation just in case you don't like what you downloaded.
Method 2:
Flash zip file on 2nd post below (TronDroidBootanimation.zip) in CWM recovery mode.
Credits:
TeamRocket (Galaxy-Note ROM) -- I extracted from this rom.
ATGAdmin and Icy (Iconia A500) -- It w also the boot animation for his ROM
Sir Otto -- For editing it to make shorter version --Please hit the thanks button on his post!

This looks very cool on the old tab 7
My pleasure, but again any of you guys know who we should give credit to this beautiful boot animation, please let us know.
Please share if you have or know any cool boot animation. Thanks.
your Neo-Droid boot animation is very nice, but I have to say I'm going with this one, the Tron-Biker. Sorry bro.
There was a guy in the acer a500 and asus transformer prime forums that had this boot animation on his roms. He goes by the name ATGAdmin. He had the icylicious roms for those devices. Not sure if he is still on xda due to some disagreements he had with other developers and the mods.

And what happened to him? I tracked him and he has not posted anything after 2nd of May. I can't post to any of his threads, and seems like whatever happened already deleted from the original thread.
Well there goes, at least partial credit (if it not the whole credit) goes to ATGAdmin and his Icylicious roms. Still not clear if he created the bootanimation or not but he used it about at the same time or a little earlier than TeamRocket for the Galaxy-NoteThanks for the info.
Excuse me, yappoe, but I found this boot animation quite long. Can I just remove some of the images in the zip folder in order to leave only the final part or would it cause terrible things like bricking my Galaxy Tab?
And if I manage to get it working, will you let me upload my "reduced" version here?

It's not going to get your Tab bricked, but it might make the bootanimation not functional (blank boot animation). Maybe Mr. Yappoe kind enough to release a shorter version.

Slyv3 is correct, it won't brick your Tab. At worst you will have blank animation. Yes you can post it here for the short version. Thanks.

Now unfortunately I have a slow connection, but I will upload it as soon as possible.

I have tested these 2 roms and it works 100% with CM9 ICS 4.04 and AOKP 4.04 but when I try copying bootanimation.zip using root explorer with root access to a stock 2.3.5 or 2.3.6 gingerbread rom, it gives me a message that there is not enough space to copy this file. I have noticed that the stock rom does not have a bootanimation.zip file. Advise please. thanks

Hi, in stock firmware, there won't be a bootanimation.zip. There will be "samsungbootloop.qmg".
If the original version is too big, can you try the shorter version by Sir Otto above and see if you can put it in?

Found them. They are in the framework apk. Well in Scotts beanstock anyway. Under system/framework/framework-res.apk. Took a bit to find them but after a little hunting I got it. So after looking for all the apps need to do all the editing on the phone and then an app to add to existing zip files I was able to modify the lock ring right on the phone without the use of a computer. My lock ring is now a vw symbol.

@sankhauaa....
Thank you very much for the recovery. I ahd rooted my mobile on the first day itself and was searching from past two days and you posted it on ight time. I downloaded it before I use it I have two querues.
1. Did you test backing up the ROM and restore with the recovery? Is it fully functional?
2. What is the source of this recovery? Did you cook it on your own? Though it is not necessary for me to know, still would be interested to know to satisfy my curiosity.
I really appreciate your work and will keep an eye on this thread.

Thakns mate, I already flashed the recovery in the morning and backed up the ROM too. I must say job is done perfectly fine. Looked at the CWM backup and seems to have all the files in place. But as there is no Factory FW available for the device, just worried to experiment in case we need to start from flashing from factory FW.

Hi Kkrraazzyy, nice to see you here. What do you mean by brother? I9003? Then I lost it last week. So after enough research went for this phone as a second phone. I am using Note 2 as my primary phone. But let me tell you after buying this phone I literally stopped using Note 2, it is very comfortable and great looking phone.
I bought it from eBay.in. Spent nearly Rs. 13200/- after using a discount coupon of 1000/-. Its really worthy, every one at my office wanted to buy this phone when they saw this phone.

From the original development and port from @gruesomewolf, Here's an original port "ported" to the Galaxy Tab3.

^THE ORIGINAL GALAXY S3 MULTIWINDOW THREAD WHERE THE ZIP POSTED ABOVE ORIGINATED
"http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48162713&postcount=4"
I found that the multi-pane or multi-task wasnt included in the 7.0 version of the Galaxy Tab 3 and got really frustrated. After unlocking my Tab with root/TWRP/xposed framework and finally putting together a decent setup and performance, i pushed in my final touch. I found today that there is already a flash able zip for the Galaxy S3 older firmware and found it works just as well so we will use this untill I/we change the dpi for a 7.0 screen.
Still needs some dpi adjustments but none the less works well, except for the rare crashes and multi-window not working.
My port was based off of the 8.0 firmware and crashed more frequently than this zip.
DOWNLOAD: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1y4nluibgrnhy14/MultiView_Universal.zip
(Someone mirror)
Requirements
:Most recent Tab3 7.0 firmware (4.1.2)
:TWRP or Custom Recovery
Instructions
:Flash zip into your rom (easy) or push via adb if your experienced
:Wipe Cache
:Reboot
Bugs
:Multi-Window does not work but the Multi-Task does work (This could be because of the firmware capadibility or screen dpi size)
:Crashs or FCs when memory is filled

I dont know who the original author is but thankyou and if your name is found, you will be mentioned.
Stock firmware modders should include this in their roms to improve tablet experience and focus on improving it for us. (Im busy with my own projects =3 but feel free to PM)

first things first....i'm not sure if u know who i am but i have personally ported the multiwindow mod to several other devices (also i have already been working on a tab 3 version...will provide the link below). Although i did NOT create this particular mod I DO know who did (will provide link to original thread below as well...i also will include the original mirror) and while this is an awesome find this zip is EXACTLY the same as the original so lets make sure they get proper credit in the OP because we wouldnt want the thread getting closed. With that said i would like to say thanks for this great discovery since u have basically found the proper "branch" of multiwindow that works with the 7 inch version. My main question is when u mention "multi-window not working" do u mean that the actual split screen function is not working? If so then this will be a major disappointment for most users expecting to come here and download an actual functioning flashable mod...if it does in fact already work as it is supposed to then could u please provide a few screenshots of the mod in action (DUAL/SPLIT SCREEN) Also...can i get a full list of bugs/glitches that u have encountered? Using these files as a base i should be able to complete the mod for u guys (if it isnt working yet) within the next day or so if everything goes well...if the short flashbar is the only problem then it can be fixed by setting the dpi of the flashbarservice.apk to 320 in the app settings xposed module

actually thats not a problem...i ported multiwindow to several devices the first being the galaxy tab plus/p6200 and what i had to basically do is flash note 8 files to get it to work. THIS is the problem....no one else has confirm that their tab will even boot after flashing this zip not to mention that the multiwindow feature does not even work.
@Nx Biotic
i'm curious....EXACTLY what do u mean when u say "multi task" is working? By that are u talking about the flashbar/launcher on the left side of the screen? Also...no one else can confirm that this even boots so did u flash or manually load it on your system?

Ok guys...we should be able to get this thing working with a few more tests zips. As of right now i have 3 ideas starting with a continuation of the original tab 3 multiwindow thread we"ve been working in...i will link to one attempt below and will be back with test 6 in about an hour. Test 7 will take a lil longer since will have to go through the code line by line...hopefully it wont even be necessary
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install "samsung multiwindow manager (note 10.1)" from the play store (do NOT patch anything when i asked...this step is not mandatory but u will want to use this to enable some more apps since the default ones may not work)
2. Edit your build prop by adding the line qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 to the bottom of the file, save then reboot into recovery
3. Flash the Test 5 zip below
4. You should now notice navigation buttons at the bottom...press the up arrow/miniapps tray and try some of the apps (please be aware that the stock samsung apps may force close and will need to be replaced...also launching from the flashbar/left launcher will still probably not work)
5. If u experience a force close when pressing the home/back buttons then you can remove the build prop edit and wait for Test 6 which will focus on fixing the flashbar

Doctor Who Boot/Shutdown animation for the LG G3 with sound!
WARNING
This is a disclaimer: While this has been tested I am not responsible for ANY damage done to your device. I take no responsibility for bootloops, soft bricks, hard bricks, living brick monsters, your phone proving an omnipotent being fallible(thus negating all existence), your great aunt smoking bath salts, flying monkeys, hot pockets, obamacare, dingleberries, carnivorous dingleberries or Sundays. Use at your own risk!!
Secondary disclaimer: If you have carnivorous dingleberries then you have bigger problems to worry about - but for any phone related questions feel free to message me on here either privately or in the thread.
This is my personal bootanimation for the Sprint LG G3 and I thought I would share it with any other Doctor Who fans out there. The original video is not my work, I simply did the leg work to turn it into a bootanimation. Doctor Who and the Tardis are registered trademarks of the BBC. If using the flashable zips, make sure you make a nandroid in TWRP before flashing these just in case. If you want to revert back to your original bootanimation you will have to restore your backup. I hope to make flashable stock zips eventually but until then, restoring your backup is your best option.
*NEW!* FLASHABLE ZIPS!!
Requires root access and TWRP recovery!
Google Drive
Download:LG G3 Bootanimation with sound!
Download:Sprint G3 Bootanimation with sound!
THESE FILES BELOW ARE NOT FLASHABLE ZIPS! Requires root access!! You have to manually put it into your system/media folder and change permissions(-rw-r--r-- aka 644). Also, you will want to delete your old boot animation(make a backup!). The G3 has two bootanimations on Sprint so if you have the same model I do you will want to replace both bootanimation.zip and bootanimation_sprint.zip(Just rename this file and have two copies in system/media). Then manually put Power_On.ogg(Sprint also has two copies of the boot sound so rename a copy of this to PowerOn_Sprint.ogg as well) into system/media/audio/ui for working sound! You ALSO need to either replace the files in carrier/cust/poweron or just delete that folder altogether(That's what I did).
For the shutdown animation it's the same. Replace shutdownanimation.zip(and shutdownanimation_sprint.zip if you are on sprint) and PowerOff.ogg(PowerOff_Sprint.ogg) to have a new shutdown animation with sound.
I believe At&t, Verizon and Tmobile would be easier but have no way of testing. If anyone wants to give detailed directions for the other carriers, it would be greatly appreciated.
Again, make sure you have backups of your original files saved to your computer. For me if something didnt work I would get a black screen but it would still boot. Other phones can soft brick but it looks like the G3 isn't one of em - still, better safe than sorry! I never ask for donations but if you like/use it, you could always hit that thank button!

EXTRAS
TARDIS LOCK/UNLOCK SOUNDS!
Below you will find two flashable zip files - one to change your lock sounds to the Tardis, another to change them back to stock. As always my disclaimer is in full effect - make a nandroid backup in TWRP just in case. Simply reboot into TWRP recovery, make a nandroid backup, then install your chosen flashable zip and reboot.
Thanks to @engine95 for the flashable zip template

You can search the root partition of your phone and see if those files are anywhere else, then replace them. I know they are in system/media/audio/ui and the carrier/cust/ folders.....I can't remember if they were in system media with the bootanimations as well......
As long as they are in the right places with the right permissions they should work.
Sorry btw, I just saw this.
EDIT: Just realized this was the one I posted in the general forum. I'm on Sprint so I'm not sure where the other carrier's boot sounds are. If you find out which ones they are and what they are named exactly, let me know so I can update the OP.
You're a hero. I just got 2 people to drop their plans to get an Iphone 6 when they saw my phone turn on. Thanks a bunch!
