Hey guys,
just thought i'd drop in and post some lockrings for everyone. they are metamorph/zipthemer (for JB) zips so please download the app and then open the zip and apply with metamorph!
please nandroid if you don't know 100% what you're doing or how to recover otherwise.
the other option is to pull your framework-res.apk in /system/framework/ to your computer and then if you get a bootloop you can always adb push it back.
Please don't steal my work, if you want to share it in another forum, ask me or just send them to this thread. please and thanks!

5. click browse..
6. choose the rom you are using (JB ROM ONLY/NOT TESTED BELOW JB)
7. click configure...
8. click the back button and press "+theme"
9. press"+theme" again and click on the circle mod u downloaded!
10. click build and press "always"
11. it will make ur flash zip. go to recovery and flash. no wipes needed

Do you know where these images are located. I would like to pull one from Scotts ROM and modify it to be a Volkswagen symbol. It will be easier if I have one to start with.

Found them. They are in the framework apk. Well in Scotts beanstock anyway. Under system/framework/framework-res.apk. Took a bit to find them but after a little hunting I got it. So after looking for all the apps need to do all the editing on the phone and then an app to add to existing zip files I was able to modify the lock ring right on the phone without the use of a computer. My lock ring is now a vw symbol.

This is the transmission on remics-jb v3 2-15-13.
This transmission works on any phone and never tried froyo but stock GB/custom and up!

I'm using this with KL3 but it may work with others as well. Make sure to make a backup. C&P this into system/app after MAKING A BACKUP OF THE ORIGINAL and then deleting it from system/app.
Edit- IV use these with la3 la4 la6.
UNFORTUNATELY THIS REQUIRES TOUCHWIZ TO WORK.. SO IT WILL WORK WITH ICS ROMS BUT ONLY THE ONES THAT HAVE THE TOUCHWIZ SKINS.. NOT ANY OF THE AOSP.

This is an ICS themed Digital Clock that works in all the ICS ROMs.. install it the same way as mentioned above.. just copy and paste into system/app. Change the name from digiclock to digitalclock though.. this will work with ANY ICS ROM.

This is the stock Samsung DigitalClock that works with ICS ROMs. I'm using it right now with ICS STUNNER 5.0. Copy and pate into system/app. THIS WILL WORK WITH ANY ICS ROM.
FYI AGAIN.. I didn't make these so requests are useless. I simply put 2 and 2 together and thought since we are using galaxy nexus/i9100 ROMs then maybe the Apps from there will work.... what do you know.. they do! Sure man! I had been asking around for a month... My home screen FINALLY matches! FYI, IM USING THIS WIDGET ON KL7 NOW WITH NO ISSUES. IM RUNNING MOWMO ICS ROM AND REPLACED HIS CLEAR WITH THIS AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY.

You need to use the pro version of root explorer or you can use adb commands.

Hi, first and foremost you need to get rooted... pretty much anything you will want to use will require root access... I use esfile explorer, its free and IMHO better than root explorer... the file explorers wont access system root files until you root your note and then give the file explorer SU permission. After that, you will go to the system folder and then app folder, and copy the widget, make a new folder on your SD card and paste it in there... then, if you ever want it back, you simply reverse the c&p process.

5. Find the new apk you downloaded, press and hold choose move.
6. Go back to system> app and select paste.
After that, your new widget will be active.

1)Get SemcMusic.apk (I got extracted from senior Championswimmer & Tof-37 X10S, you can get it if you have the ROM) Then, You may move it to directory system>apps ,using ROMTOOLBOX or any apps that can explore and copy/paste into system directories. DonutHD "Music" apps will be replaced into Xperia S "Music Player"
2)xrecovery flash:
-nEW HOME Launcher.zip (XperiaS Home) which has partially recognised SemcMusic.apk support, once flashed, boot your phone. You will temporarily unable to access "MyMusic". You will get FC when choosing "My Music" when using Music Player. If you get FC, great because we need it! Then, we may proceed next step
3)xrecovery flash again
-JellyBean_2_fixed.zip Contain (contain XperiaS support) fully recognise SemcMusic.apk. "MyMusic" can be accessed, album, track, artist will work.
First boot time will be longer for letting our X10 into new Framework and enviroment from jellybean 2
4)flash 005.zip (any one of them), to get framework related files to be replaced and music lockscreen working.
First boot time will be longer because replacing framework and adding UxpNxtLockScreen to get worked. Second reboot will be faster You may see it by just
(i)Just swipe the TimeLockscreen to see it
(ii)Play music in your MusicPlayer, standby lockscreen to see it.
ReCheck "MyMusic"section in MusicPlayer apps whether FC or not. Shouldn't get FC-ed. The previous framework-res effect from JB2 should be permanent. Unless you replaced new Framework again.
5)[OPTIONAL] If you wish to get back your DonutHD Home.apk, just flash xrecovery:
-Restore DonutJellybean.zip You will get Stock Home back and Music Player working as before. Unless you use new frameworks, the effect will wear off

1)Bootanimation "Android" instead of "DonutHD" after flash 005.zip
2)TimeLockScreen Font Become Fullwhite color, bigger centered size, ICS
3)Time/Alarm setting FC will be changed (Xperia Scroll sytle) and fixed
4)Jellybean2 SystemUI/Status Toggle Bar will be retained
5)MyMusic will not be FC-ed after flashed XperiaS Home apk, or even
after flashed 005.zip or Restore DonutHD Jellybean.zip
6)New Option called "Lockscreen Settings" in Settings>Display
7)When Missed Call detected, can reach "PhoneCall" by swiping "MissCall" Icon directly from LockScreen.
In case all these didn't work , you can flash
-Temporary FIX DonutHD JB2.zip file that i made, posted in DonutThread Before. You will get back original framework of JellyBean1. You will get FC back in "MyMusic" Section. For DonutHD Music.apk, you can extract it from Jellybean1 ROM zip. And do it similar like Step (1)You will get it back

Pls note this addon will drain little bit more battery power since will Active in cached process .
I don't know how this happened, seems battery power falling quite noticeable even in Stock Kernel. Recommended Use Custom Kernel and change Governor will help. I used DooMKernel(smartassV2 governor) and Battery Reduced steadily (1% drop after one hour++)
For Power Option "Screenshot nulbitmap=error",
-Go System>Bin>Screenshot using RootBrowser apps like ROMToolbox and etc.
-Select Permission and Mark "Owner - Execute", "Group - Execute", and "Others - Execute", then save the changes. You will be asked root access for first time and screenshot will work

Erm. I'm afraid not for now. Because XperiaS Music Player "MyMusic" Section somehow linked with Jellybean2_fixed framework and its support. Without it, Music Player will FC-ed when pressed "MyMusic" Section. Hope this info helps.

Well, i with senior alzbac tried to mess with orientation/style/type, but FC when using them. It depends on UxpNxtLockScreen Framework instead of Framework-res's. Will try do something once i'm done my break. Maintaining XperiaS slider style for now. Hehe

Will because replacing setting and framework. FIrst time boot will be longer just as when you flashing new ROMs Especially flashing Jellybean2_fixed and 005.zips as i mentioned in green words (Post #1). Please be patient because our X10 need to synchronised to newer enviroment Hope this info helps.

Flash xperiaS home.zip back, set rowxcolumn to 4x5. First time will get 4x4 so some gap. Then flash back restore donut jellybean. should get back effect did musiclockscreen work? cheers

Missed callnotification works. If for sms notification, Guess need xperiaS Message apk to get it work. Sorta recognised that one only. Try fix that cheers

Thats weird. Which donut rom you flashed? Mine worked though, The missed call notification sliding lockscreen. Didnt mess with Semcphone apk. I try see what is missing.

Force closes and hangs a lot so far. Looks pretty. Still has some Chinese in the base theme.
And permissions manager does not work. (I am not a MIUI newb, I know you have to turn it on).
All due respect to the op and the port dev if you're the same person. But I found MIUI to be unusable on my N7 because o the phone UI. Not even phablet UI. Does MIUI even have a tablet UI? If they did and we can implement it, I would be sweatin MIUI on n7. But I'm not aware of this being the case thus far. To the bestof my knowledge, MIUI is phone only...but I've been wrong before.

We are all wrong at one time or another. Fortunately for you, this is an occasion where it actually benefits you to be wrong Two MIUI builds so far have a more tablet-like UI.
Right here on XDA you can find Timmytim's modded launcher as a flashable zip: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1875363 After changing your DPI from 320 to 240, you can switch to the custom grid sizes of either 5x5 or 6x6.
Also MIUI.us's N7 release by magiman by default comes in 240 dpi and has custom grid sizes too, including a 6x7 which is identical to stock (technically one row in stock is taken by the search bar).

No issues here with permissions app. Been running it since Saturday. Only FC I have had is some of the settings in the toolbox aren't working yet, CPU, Launcher, ADB

As stated earlier, this version is near stock DPI, stock is 213, this is 225, and with the launcher grid options it works just like the phablet, with the exception of the notification pull down still being full width. Very usable and downright awesome, if you ask me
Hmm...wonder what my issue was?
I wanted to reboot back into recovery to try a different kernel, and when I found that there was no power button mod I figured I would just grab quick boot from the play store instead of walking into the study to plug into my pc. It failed repeatedly to get root...permission manager kept force closing.
I actually repeated the experiment...rewiped, reflashed, etc., with the same results.

Did you check md5 sum? Maybe a bad download or you didn't toggle to allow rooted apps inside of the permission app

Default build.prop has density set to 320, and I tried to set it to 225 as you said but I just got a black screen.

The build already has it set to 225, you don't have to do anything other than select your preferred grid size in launcher settings.

Yeah I toggled the switch...ran miui for a few months on my thunderbolt. It was giving me a force close message. I will check the md5 and try again tonight.

Ur right it is 320 which is odd and permissions have to be set manually so when it force closes out u go into the root app and go to whatever app and allow it and that app will have root. It should be corrected next build hopefully this is all strait from china so its the sorrie

But what I don't like about this which is why I think people say its not a true tablet and just a big phone bc it still has phone and messaging options like MMS.apk and phone which is stupid u figure china would make an actual tablet version with ui but hey im glad we got a version tho bit hopefully they will see that this is kinda pointless bc this is what's on my phone but bigger. No change at all. So hopefully we can swap or edit ui and strip all the phone and messaging stuff away to make it a true tablet rom hopefully so with the help of this community we probably can

4) Choose zip from sdcard OR choose zip from internal sdcard (depends upon where you stored your zip)
5) Choose CustomBatteryMod_A110.zip and select yes .....
6) now after Flashing Completes reboot your Device and Enjoy the new 16 battery Icon MOD...

After Reboot if the battery Icon doesn't appears then ............ Go to Settings >> Display >> Battery Style >> Styles >> *Choose UR OWN STYLE*
If you Dont want to Go to Settings and Do the Step 1 ,,then simply tap the battery Icon 3 times on the status bar and the Options will appear for BatteryMOD settings
There is no need to restart Device after selecting your *OWN STYLE*///// Automatically it will appear on the status bar !!!!

Many pleople asked me how add a custom background image ?? So here's a small and easy tutorial!!
REQUIREMENTS:-
1.) PC
2.) Winrar or Winzip or 7zip
3.) Rooted Device
4.) CWM Recovery Mod for Flashing !!!

HOW TO :-
1.) Using any root explorer go to /system ----> /framework ------> and there u will see this apk "framework-res.apk"
2.) copy that apk to your desktop PC
3.) Open the downloaded zip from PC using winzip ( do not extract simply open via winzip)
4.) now in the zip go to system -----> framework ----> and now drag ur framework-res.apk from ur pc and drop it in the framework folder on my zip
5.) now double click on the .apk in the zip and go to " res ---> drawable-nodpi and then drag and drop my custom UI image in the nodpi folder ....
6.) Remember dont change the name of any img or any folder .......
7.) now close the zip and save if needed and put it in sd card and flash it via CWM !!!!
8.) ENJOY !!

Download Font Installer From the Play Store and from the list of given fonts in the app select PoloBrush.ttf (REQUIRES ROOT)

Thanks but u have to as I have to pack the entire Theme In APK and release
and u have to install it using ADB Method and on deodexed Rom
Or
U can also flash the file attached but most likely u ll loose wifi
However u are welcome to try and give me result

Yeah bro that wouldn't be an issue. It's just that I haven't yet installed a deodexed rom as I have read the comments where people have been encountering many force closes . What do you think? Should I flash the deodexed one?

If you are not particular abt wifi just flash it on the stock rom even that will work just fine no need of deodexed rom also
Btw I have deodexed the entire firmware and have no issues

I myte work on update and white theme not now will be busy with other work and office
Btw u use wanam xposed and get the colour u want for battery etc for now

I live in India and I saw the post for the deodexed roms. But I did not find the csc file for India. So is it possible that I only flash the deodexed rom file and leave the rest?

I flashed this a few minutes a go for my n9005 the theme looks great it worked but.. The phone kept freezing every time I pressed my back key or menu key and they did nothing anymore, this was on Omega v1.0 ROM flashed with twrp succesfully. Now removed and updated to Omega 2.0

If u are using asid deodexed rooted firmware there are some bugs so don't use that for now
And with pda u must flash csc u can make that also
I suggest use a tool and deodexed your own firmware it's not tuff may be later once I cone back home will send you some links also

I m nor sure of the issue as I have no such issue flashed it more then 20 times
Anyways try with new firmware and see if not reset and install fresh without any mods

There are 2 things i have in mind which myte be causing this issue one sd card try removing and see or format that
Second change the recovery to CWM and see if that solves it there is nothing in the theme but images only so it cannot be the issue
