Hi.
I have a samsung j700f / DD dead after pass flash with odin
Computer does not recognize my mobile.
(How can I get your phone to connect my computer? When the computer does not recognize it?)
1. Is there any way that the computer can recognize my mobile?
2. Is the problem can be solved by software?
ⴰⵣⵓⵍ,
Take the battery off then put it on after each of the attempts below...
Well before doing anything else, try a combination of keys such as :
- Power button + Home Key + Vol Up
- Power button + Home Key + Vol Down
- Power button + Vol Up
- Power button + Vol Down
- Etc
If nothing appears, then try a combination of keys while plugging it at the same time to the PC, but before doing so check if anything got detected [ sudo tail -f /var/log/messages ] :
- Vol Down
- Vol Up
- Vol Up + Vol Down
- Home Key
- Home key + Vol Up
- Home key + Vol Down
Note : In some SoC's the preloader or the SoC bootloader sometimes pops up for a few seconds and disappears, which gives the time for the flash tool to establish a connection before the SoC bootloader closes the connection, in other cases it keeps popping in and out, so focus when plugging the cable.
Then report back to this thread.

Hi
I did the steps. But in any case, the computer did not recognize the phone.
Then
I repeated the process with the power supply, too.
The result was that:
1. When the power button is pressed. (amount of flow is equal to 0.12.)
2. Whenever USB cable to connect the phone. (amount of flow is equal to 0.12.)
3. In all other cases (amount of flow is equal to zero)
where is the problem from? Is there a way to enter into download mode
When no images (dead), and amount of flow is not suitable for phones.
I am also using USB jig, steps did. But did not alter.
I am waiting your reply friends.
Thanks.
ⴰⵣⵓⵍ,
I have mentioned that you need to take the battery off everytime you make an attempt, did you do that?
And what flow are you talking about, electrons? charges? current? what's that amperes?
I don't understand what you mean by power supply, i can't follow you, and what about the jig, i've read that samsung's uses a system to enable different modes depending on the amount of resistance between DP and DM of the usb, i really don't know about this, but give it a try.
Technically if you corrupted the SoC internal bootloader, the phone wont be able to perform anything, unless mainly using JTAG to reflash the internal flash memory region of the SoC [ system on chip ], am actually stuck at the same place with an MSM8625 SoC from Qualcomm, i couldn't find anything else to communicate with the SoC's main ARM chip except the JTAG pins, logically there isn't another way in here.

flashmode for xperia m2 not working

i am trying to flash TWRP - 2.8.7.0 recovery to my xperia m2 . i am successful and i can install custom ROM from TWRP recovery mode but flashmode( volume down key + power key) is not working any more, fastboot mode (volume up key + power key) is working correctly. please help me i want to install factory ROM that is provided by sony but i am stuck because of unable to turn on flashmode.
thank you
Just an idea but try this, open the sim card tray and use a pin to press the red button and after that wait for 1 minute at least and first hold the volume button down and then while holding it, hold the power button too for 5~ seconds iirc. Or wait upto a minute and see if it triggers.
Delete my post pls
Isn't that you need to hold volume - and connect to usb to get in flashmode?

already tried that, it will directly go to TWRP recovery menu by pressing volume down key and power button. By holding volume down key and connecting usb it will turn on flashmode but that did not happen any more.

yah but that option was not working after recovery flash and unable to turn on flashmode by pressing volume - key and connecting usb.
Does anyone know the solution to this? I'm stuck with a soft bricked xperia M2 D2303, bootloop and can't open recovery mode. Tried to connect to PC and run flashmode, but not working, I'm just getting a green blink, not the solid color for the LED.
It does run fastboot, but no flashboot. Any ideas?
PS: I have no idea what my IMEI is.

For the Flashmode, the green led has to blink one time. So that's normal.
And did you installed Flashmode drivers?

Can't flash TWRP through Odin.

Hi, I've been trying to flash TWRP to my phone in order to root and install some custom roms but there is a problem. I boot into download mode just fine no problems I connect my phone to my PC via USB cable and Odin recognizes my phone I untick auto reboot choose the correct TWRP file and start it and this is where it all fall aparts. My phone doesn't restart on it own, it just keeps staying on the downloading please don't turn off the target screen. I tried all the button combinations no luck phone doesn't restart. Only combination that works is volume down and power button but that just shut downs the phone. I really need some help here guys. Thanks in advance
after flashing TWRP, hold down volume (-) and power button, do not release until you start again... when you start, change volume (-) button to volume (+) for a few seconds and release... then start twrp
After flashing TWRP, disconnect cable, hold Volume DOWN and POWER button and once the screen is OFF, press and hold POWER + Vol UP + HOME.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) - No Download mode or Recovery and infinite bootloop

Hi,
Recently i was trying to apply another rom to my Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 edition and i am stuck in an infinite bootloop. I cannot enter download mode with the Volume Down and Power keys and the only thing it does is showing the logo of Samsung every 5 seconds and restarts. I have tried to built a usb jig with 300k resistors and still does not boot up in download mode to flash with odin a stock firmware. Also i left the battery to drain and now it is turned off,but when i plug in the usb cable and power it up it still goes into infinite loop. Any help?
I was trying the Android 10 Magisk root for A750F and was greeted by a similar situation after ODIN rebooted my phone after flashing Magisk image.. Anyways, don't panic, try all combination of buttons. vUP,vDN,PWR or vUP,PWR or vUP,vDWN while connected to usb.. It wasn't working for me too but i tried all combinations and it landed me to download mode where I flashed the stock rom
just press those button and connect to usb
im glad i read his, had just the same issue while flashing wrong twrp on A750FN .. yihey thx budies
how did you solve this issue.
---------- Post added at 06:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:45 AM ----------
which button combination helped you. I having a similar issue. can not enter download mode.
Solution that helped me
Just Press the volume plus + volume minus + power button at once. Once the phone reboot black screen appears, Leave the power button and keep pressing the volume plus and volume minus button. It will redirect to the download mode. and reflash the room using Odin. Only use official sammobile rom file as other files may be corrupted. The issue may arise. The problem is in rom.
If any issue query me at : [email protected].
try this bro

I have tried keeping all 3 buttons (vol up + vol down + power), tried holding vol up + vol down and then connecting to my PC (nothing happens, I always see the same screen (SAMSUNG Galaxy A7 Secured by Knox and Powered by android underneath)).
Tried vUP,vDN,PWR or vUP,PWR or vUP,vDWN while connected to PC via USB.
Tried vUP,vDN,PWR or vUP,PWR or vUP,vDWN while NOT connected to PC via USB.
Phone sometimes reboots but always gets into the screen I mentioned above.
Odin, obviously, doesn't see the phone either.
Also, adb devices command deosn't show the device in the list.
Anything else I should try?
Ah I solved it, and nobody mentions that you have to be SUPER quick!?
So you hold down vol down + power button and keep the USB cable at hand and the millisecond your phone reboots, reeeealy quickly release vol down and power and quickly afterwards press vol down + vol up and again quickly plug in your USB cable, if you did it before the Samsung logo appears you will get into Downloading... screen.

Question my Galaxy A12 won't boot to android or download mode help me pls

so I just tried to install unofficial TWRP 3.5.0 on my Samsung galaxy a125m and everything went fine, Odin said done. Then I just tried to start TWRP by pressing power and vol up and it didn't start, so I thought I might have done something wrong and rebooted to download mode and flashed it again, Odin said done, then I unplugged the USB cable and now it won't boot, neither to the system or recovery, even to download mode, it did enter download mode a few times before but I pressed the wrong button and had to cancel and enter again, now it won't even enter download mode so I can't flash stock rom to fix bootloop... pls how can I solve this I'm desperate
when I try to enter download mode by pressing volume up + volume down it just shows up charging mode without any numbers, then it turn on and shows Samsung logo, unlocked bootloader warning screen, and the Samsung logo again, but then just restarts and repeats all again...
when I try to press volume up + volume down + power, nothing really happens...
someone help me please
You need to keep both volume up and down pressed, then plug in the charging cable. It should enter download mode, no need to press the power button like in older samsungs.

in this video you can see what's going on, I'm pressing both volume keys and nothing happens
Your browser is not able to display this video.
Is the cable plugged into a charger and on?
Have you considered that your volume buttons may not be working?

Try attaching your phone to the PC, and then pressing volume down + power to reset the phone, (for about 7~8 seconds) then immediately press the volume down and up buttons, that's how I recovered from it. Tell me if it worked

Hello, unfortunately in these cases the only solution is to enter download mode, check if any button is damaged or if the cable works and if it is well connected, press the buttons harder, hold down the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time , by pressing the strong buttons, for about 6 seconds and then connect the cable. If you don't try another cable to see if that's the problem there is no other solution as the phone is not recognized by an app that can put it into download mode when turned off the solution is the one I already told you about. I hope you have fixed that problem. Sorry for my bad English.

@physwizz
I am having a similar problem with the Samsung A12 SM-a125u
I never could enter into this "Downloading mode".
I tried flashing the stock ROM through ADB with fastboot, and I have another problem that I've never seen before: ADB can see the device while in recovery mode, but fastboot can't. And so it won't allow me to flash the ROM and I don't even know how Odin is supposed to help yet; I think I needed to enter Downloading mode for that, but I can't get into it.
I'm working on this phone for a friend who was given it because his friend's mom doesn't remember the password to it. Does that matter? It's worth noting that because of that I cannot get in to turn on OEM unlocking or dev mode, but idk why that would come into play in recovery mode. Also, the model indicates this is an AT&T phone, and tutorials online have acknowledged this model in their "applicable models" list at the beginning of their tutorials, but I know that carrier phones can cause problems all over the place (stop buying carrier locked phones people!); is this a problem?
How the heck do I flash the stock ROM to this this?
