Hi Guys,
I am unable to get my phone to boot up after I did a restart of the phone. I have tried to do a recovery using the "power + volume down button" but it shows no command.
Have also tried the fastboot mode to unlock boot locker but phone just restart on its own after I entered the command. When i query the status of the phone it still shows me that the boot locker is locked.
I am running out of idea on what to do next..

What device, brand model etc etc are you using? Please specify in detail any other information that is relevant...
Did you flash a rom without unlocking boot loader etc etc. All this info is important if you want help in these forums.

was on the the latest CM13.1 (i believe). I did not flash any rom before I did the restart.
After the restart, the phone just went into a endless reboot

I received a new Nexus 5 yesterday and immediately enabled ART but did nothing else, such as rooting, unlocking, etc. Today the phone froze and when I rebooted it it was stuck in a boot loop. I attempted to enter recovery, but was met with a persistent black screen. I also tried to unlock the phone, but when I use the fastboot reboot-bootloader command, the phone reboots to a battery animation and is stuck there until I manually reboot the phone and the bootloader is locked again when I manually enter the bootloader using power + volume down. Any suggestions guys?

Try using this command :
fastboot boot *nameoftwrpimage*.img
My cousin has an xperia z3 dual d6633 we wanted to root it so what we did was :
1- we unlocked the bootloader using sony's official guide that was a success
2-we flashed twrp using
Code:
fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
That appeared to be a success but we failed to boot to recovery i tried everything to boot to recovery from pressing power buttons with each volume buttons or both to even using
Code:
adb reboot recovery
and even that didnt work it always booted to android
3- when that didnt work one guide on the internet said to boot directly from the twrp image i had on the pc using
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
and thats where things went south it still booted into android but this time it was stuck in a bootloop it would boot into the screen thats right after the sony logo (the one that looks like the ps4 booting screen) and it would keep doing the animation non-stopping
4-we tried using xperia companion to fix it but it always said bootloader was unlocked
5-we tried relocking the bootloader using both
Code:
fastboot oem lock
and
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0fce oem lock 0x<unlock key>
mimicking the unlock bootloader command from sony's website but the lock bootloader keeps going on forever nothing happening until we take out the usb cable then it says failed
now i have two questions
1-can this be a hardware problem? Basically can the steps i made damage hardware?
2- is there a way to either relock the bootloader to fix it using companion app or fix it using any other program at all?
Thank you for answering

If the "orange state" is "Your device is unlocked and cannot be trusted", you will most likely have your bootloader unlocked.

So what to do I need to lock my bootloader
No need to relock. What happens when you presses the button combination of fastboot mode (search Google)?

Take note that as soon as you re-lock the bootloader the bootloader simply gets forced to load phone's Stock ROM.

Hey there,
I have a Pixel 3a, which refuses to start. After powering on, it directly hangs on the first google logo forever.
The device has stock rom and a locked bootloader.
I can still enter fastboot, but when I try to enter recovery mode from there I'm stuck at the google logo again.
Is there anything left I can do to revive the device?
- I cannot unlock the bootloader, because I need to the check this oem unlock setting which in turn is not possible whithout a working device. Or is there a different way?
- I cannot switch the A/B slot because the device is locked.
- I cannot flash something because the device is locked.
I'm grateful for any advice.

Hi there.
A couple of questions first:
Does it respond to any adb or fastboot commands?
Does it enter into Recovery or Rescue mode from Fastboot?
If yes, then your best bet is either https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/ or https://flash.android.com/
Both tools should work even with a locked bootloader, you just need Chrome and the USB driver.
Be warned tho, both tools will erase and factory reset your phone.
