Hello. I had root on my SM-G930W8 then decided to turn off the OEM Unlock in developer options..... and reboot....... So now what we (I) have here is:
***"CUSTOM BINARY BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK"***
And naturally... I'n unsure of the exact version of the stock rom I had. Looks like odin back to stock or is their a 3 day reset for me?
Please advise the correct method I need to correct my brick.... And will I loose my apps /settings/data/ etc with odin? Can i avoid data loss with odin dirty flash?
Ps... May be Google should allow a login from another device so i could verifiy my credentials for my frp locked device... Or may be im daft!
Thanks xda
Now the tar file i go has bl and ap... Do do would I odin fladh one or both files???
Oh well
Couldnt waite...
Odin the phone
Phone optimized then updated
Then BAM
Sucessfull boot
Every thing the way I left it before the reboot as far as I can tell (just looking at the initial reboot for few seconds so I'm not sure if I'll find any problems.
...)
Oh well...
Back to the cf root...
Thanks xda
Looks like i lost lte conectivity.... And the carrier could not assist either .... So I can test my sim card on my other phone later to see if the card is to blame...
The initial flash seemed to upgrade the build version but not the baseband and though that might cause the lte issue.... So flashed the other file which changed the baseband to the same version as the build and still no changes to the h+ that I have now when it should be LTE ....
Strange...
Any thoughts please?
Thank you
Connection problem or invalid MMI code ...thought I'd try the codes for my lte issue but no can do now.
No MMI codes are working.... any thoughts of why or how to fix that error?

Obviously I'm not rooted, hence why I said "what the heck".

No problem, note that I'd use the word "IF".
Is it video calling feature
I'm wondering if anyone has a link or text to the full change log. Another thread has a member saying it also resolved the wireless charging issue.

Same thing happened to me. I'm using package disabler, what I did was turn on again all the disabled apps, re-start the phone and listo. It should take it now.

I think the dialer looks hideous the way they placed the button there. Long pressing the 1 gets you voicemail so the voicemail button is redundant. Why couldn't they just place the icon where the voicemail icon is the way Sammy does it on the international versions?
Already a thread on Update please search before starting new threads.

Does it work in 7.0?
After switching over to CM13 for my moto g everything went really smoothly, with even my data working. However, it shows that my carrier is sprint instead of virgin mobile and I can not send or receive calls or sms. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be?
Have you tried manually changing the carrier back to virgin?

Trying to go into the carrier settings menue greats me with a com.adroid.phone error
Have you tried the APN fix zip?
I usually flash this when flashing a new ROM. Cm13 has implemented support for virgin but sometimes can be buggy.
Before you flash this, mount system in twrp, then flash and reboot.

Sorry for the large delay; ran into some issues in my schedule. I did a clean flash of CM13 on the phone and mounted system prior to flashing the APN fix you provided. Unfortunately, the phone still believes that the carrier is sprint, maybe it could be a SIM problem?
Virgin is through sprint, so not a big deal...
Is your data connection working?
Some things to check are in cellular network menu
Be sure in access point names virgin LTE is selected.
Also in CDMA subscription be sure Ruim/sim is selected.
Lastly preferred network is set to LTE

All of those settings are indeed on what you say they should be, and my data works flawlessly. My only problem is that I can not send or receive calls or text
Sent from my MotoG3 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Do you get an error when trying to call?
Last thing I know to try
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
Goto phone info
Make sure preferred network is set to LTE/CDMA auto
If that doesn't work I'm out of suggestions
Sent from my MotoG3 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Unfortunately that too seems to be on the right setting, but yes there an error when trying to make a call stating "cellular network not available"

Hello. I just wanted to restore my nexus 5 and i used NRT for it. I pressed restore and after that it startet booting. Now the phone turned on and it wrote: optimalizing (starting apps) 2 of 2. After that it restarted again. I know i was stuck in bootlomp. My pc is not working properly and 90% of images i downloaded were corrupted. In flashing in hashcheck it wrote missmatch. There is photo that i dont know if it is ok but i will post it anyway.

Now i want you guys ask you. i have here a friends notebook but there is not installed the nexus 5 driver and in NRT it doesnt recognize my phone even in bootloader mode so i cant restore it. What can i do here? Can i do something with the drivers to be my phone conected with NRT? Or do you guys have any other better fix for it? Thanks a lot for tour replies!
There is a guide to how install the drivers in NRT. Idk where exactly. Just have look. As I remember it right it should work without have your N5 connected.

Don't use a tool kit. Just flash the factory image using fastboot. See the general forum for the sticky on how to flash a factory image.

Are you using a custom ROM or are you using stock?
If using a custom ROM, ask about this issue in the thread where you got the ROM from.
If you are on stock and you updated via OTA, the issue might be caused by something left behind from before the update, try booting to recovery and wipe only the cache partition, do not factory reset, then reboot and see what happens. If that doesn't help, try booting to recovery and factory reset the device.
