hello everyone, i just registered on the forums.
I have searched almost everything about that problem, i have seen topics about high WIFI use on android 6.0 but its not my problem...
i think my phone battery runs out too fast.... after full phone charge to 100% with original charger and after using phone for 9 minutes only messenger, battery was already 95%.
screen brightness around 70% of bar. Phone says 8hours left on that 95%.
i already tried:
* replacing the battery
* downgrading android 6 to latest stable 5, no effect
im attaching 2 screenshots.

Ok, mam taki sam problem, a mianowicie telefon pokazuje mi 99% starcza na 4H X_X już zamówiłem se nową baterię, jutro dojdzie to wymienię i dam znać czy to cokolwiek zmienia. Jak otworzyłeś back cover? Bo boje sie że połamie
English translation:
Ok , I have the same problem , namely, the phone shows me 99 % lasts 4H X_X se already ordered a new battery , tomorrow will mention it and let you know if it changes anything . As you open the back cover ? Because I 'm afraid that will break : P
I also quickly lose 1-2 percents after a full charge but everything goes back to normal. What is "messenger"? Facebook crappy app? If so, don't be surprised.
@aciupapa please write in english as explained in the forum rules.

This can be due to lot of background procceses qhich r open in background like whatsapp,fb etc. That is why it consumes the battery. Try minimising the use of apps and see the results
Why So Serious?!
did you install other apps?
did u install other apps now? I mean to say did this change to consume battery shifted to android os after you installed some apps or in the same condition?
Hello everyone. I have that problem. My battery life sucks. Can I do something about that yo improve the battery life?

P.S. power save on. Auto brightness .

seems normal,my device would be faster to drain if same condition as well(3g mode),but mine battery are not new.
mostly what take ur battery is screen time, which is normal for an hour of it,other only drain >12%,seems ok in my point of view.
actually, this kinda battery life is better than my previous lumia 620 or my bro's xperia v
ps: power saving mode dint do too much different,i advice u just turn it off.
Install android tweaker and greenify to have some extra juice

Well, it seems that our battery is just for 6 hours. I will try greenify
Edited. Greenify don't work so good.

6 hour of screen time already is above average, try to compare with let say moto g,screen time at best are 4-5 hour

I can confirm very similar issue with the new MI3 firmware - sometimes the battery lasts only 6-7 hours (when in pocket- not on screentime) with power saving ON, wifi and 3g OFF
I have rooted I9105P
did you try to calibrate it ?

Since flashing Carbon ROM two nights ago, I've been seeing com.android.systemui consistently at or near the top of my battery stats screen (screen shot below). When I was on Cataclysm, I never noticed this. Is this something I should worry about/deal with?

You've only used 3,% of your battery. See what it looks like later in the day. It should be less than 5%. If it isn't then yes, something is not right. Turn location off until you need it. That week save battery.
Sent from my Nexus 5
the % used in the graph is the % used of total battery drain.
you only lost 3% total battery and 49% of that 3% was used by the system.
there is no problem as of now.
Check out lockscreen notifications if you have pocket mode on it keeps the proximity sensor on all the time and will cause a larger than normal drain.

This is very helpful. Thanks -- I'll try disabling lockscreen notifications/pocket mode.
You cannot tell anything from stats after only a few percent of battery drain. Look again after you've burned 90 percent off the battery.

It's a bug. Reboot helps some cleaning cache others. Google know about it. There's a long thread on this

Comrades, I need help after resetting my phone, some automatic lock usually lock my opened or active application. This usually make the application block unless u reopen it again. Im using samsung t43. Im Harry
Well, after i substitute the battery with a new one using this guide i got really f up.
Now i guess the real problem is the one in the title. I alredy tried to:
- flash back to stock
- keep the stock for a few days
- flash a clean sultan
- pray Cthulhu
Now i'm using the latest SultanCM and it charges at an insane speed while the battery lasts less of course... Any idea of the reason behind it? Maybe @Sultanxda knows?

The reason is your new battery,no matter which one you buy, they always fu*k up.
The only thing you can do is wait for the battery to calibrate completely.

So it's normal?
That's my actual situation:

This graph shows percentage and voltage of the battery over almost 24h. At first i'm charging, then i use it normally. After many attemps like this one i noticed that the battery life is now normal, but the percentage is still f up. Maxium voltage was around 4.3V, which is fine i guess
Is it common that the voltage reading is so inaccurate?
Hellou!
Last couple of weeks i'm maybe (not sure) noticing slight decrease in battery life even with greenify, deep dozing and tweaks enabled / set.
- In general i have my Z5 set to be very cool and lasts long when dozing ( for real i mean) and to "turbo" battery drains like hell when gaming, multitasking....
And i preety much like it this way, ouh i have battery charging optimized set to on...
- Today i checked my friends z2 whit hidden service menu and tried z5 to see how it holds up, this is what i get in battery test:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/e9vd2vd1kg4762r/Batterybad.png?dl=0
Should i be concerned or is this normal wear and thear Phone is 12 months old
So i am curious to see what you get in your service menu
Service code is *#*#7373423#*#*
Greetings!!!
Hello,
Last Friday and Saturday I also suddenly had problem with my battery.
When fully charged the battery sudden died after 2 to 3 hours of use.
I had reset my phone to factory settings and used the following procedure:
Make sure to turn off stamina, go to settings - apps, tap on 3 dots to show system. Scroll down to stamina mode, force stop it. Then under storage tab, clear data. (Stamina was not started for me btw).
Force stop your device with power button and volume up at the same time until you feel 3 vibrations. Turn the phone back on.
If I use your service code it did not work, note the typo: *#*#7378423#*#*

When doing the battery test I have now a healthy battery. The battery seems to last much longer.
(For safety I ordered also a new battery for replacement, my Z5 is already more than two years old...)
yeah same with me my battery stands on like barely one day I must do something with it
