I am using MX player on my Xperia Z1, Android 5.1.1
Version I onstalled from play store is 1.7.40 and it was released on June 2015. Since then no official updates.
But it was updated to 1.8.4 in APKmirror. But why there's no update on Playstore.
Custom codec for my device is ARMV7 NEON.....
Why is this.????????

Update Tronfy MXIV to Android Lollipop?
I have a Tronfy MXIV TV box that I got from TinyDeals less than 2 months ago which runs Android 4.4.2. A few weeks ago they started selling an updated version with the name Telos with basically the same specs but comes with Android Lollipop pre-installed. Anyone know if its possible to update mine to Lollipop, either with the Telos firmware or a custom ROM?

the same story, now the mx4 telos is about $90, while my MX4 cost me more than 110 dollars, I found this link http://www.tinydealcouponcode.com/2015/08/21/android-lollipop-5-1%EF%BC%9Atronfy-tv-box-firmware-update-from-tinydeal-tech-support/ , use the official firmware and enjoy the best of Android 5.1.
Hi Jackiefire. I'm confused because the link on the TinyDeal website is for the update that has been on Tronfy's website since May. It is build number 202k, which is what my MXIV is running. It is Android 4.4.2, not 5.1 Lollipop. Is there something I'm missing?

@gscott23
The only real difference between them both is android 5 & the gibabit Ethernet.
The tronfy you have should soon be upgrade to android 5 so I would not worry too much about it + there are some bugs on the lollipop rom so I would advise you to stick with kitkat for now
Bugs on android 5 lollipop are

This is the error message I keep getting. I'm using a galaxy note 5 (android version 6.0.1). The 1.8.9 version is installed but Mxplayer realize codec apllication as 1.8.6 version. And I already installed Mxplayer/codec after delete all mxplayer data. But it is not work. How can I resolve that error?

You have MX Player 1.8.6 installed & MX Player codec pack 1.8.9. That's why it shows error. Update your player.

Which version of the MX Player you are using. MX Player can run in Nougat perfectly even with 7.1.1
