[Bug Report] I can't run mxplayer - MX Player
"App version you have is outdated to use the installed codec, please upgrade to the latest version
-Installed version: 1.8.6
-Required version: 1.8.9 or later"
This is the error message I keep getting. I'm using a galaxy note 5 (android version 6.0.1). The 1.8.9 version is installed but Mxplayer realize codec apllication as 1.8.6 version. And I already installed Mxplayer/codec after delete all mxplayer data. But it is not work. How can I resolve that error?

You have MX Player 1.8.6 installed & MX Player codec pack 1.8.9. That's why it shows error. Update your player.

[Q] Flashing MX box with Openelec Beta versions
Has anyone been able to install the beta version of Openelec on the MX clone box?
[bug report] hw+ not working in resurrection remix 6.0.1 hw works fine..
And here's a log file
Same problem here... Using MX Player Pro v1.8.3 on Resurection Remix v5.6.3 (Android v6.0.1) on Samsung N7100 (ARMv7 NEON). The HW+ simply don't show image, just audio. Forced to use HW.
It's likely because when they updated their ROM, they changed the media framework. You should let the ROM makers know that this is an issue.
