So after a lot of failures I finally was successful at flashing the Darkwolf rom on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (Sm-N9005).
But now my phone has so many problems!!!!
Could someone please help me fix them?
>Doesn't detect the SIM This is the most important problem I want to fix. How do I do that? I NEED MY SIM UP AND RUNNING ASAP:crying:
>Doesn't detect SD card.
>Cannot access camera AT ALL (I was aware that a few camera modes won't work...but here I cannot access camera at all..everytime I try I get a notification,"Moisture detected in the port..." or "Unfortunately,Smart Manager has stopped")
>Phone heats up like the surface of the sun...If it was winter I could have used it to heat my room up!!...and the s**tty part is I'm not even playing some graphic intensive game. Just turning the screen on and surfing a few google pages on the browser is enough to do so!!
>Booting takes a f***ing eternity!!! The screen is stuck on the SAMSUNG logo for at least a minute everytime I re-start the phone. Is it actually supposed to be that slow??? (P.S. The first boot took 44minutes...and YES!!!I timed it!!!)
Hello,
Please post your questions in the ROM thread where you got the ROM from, that is the threads purpose. Good luck.

Hello everyone, I own the old samsung galaxy beam, a rare android phone with a built in projector, yes a very rare phone. If you think being rare is cool well sometimes it's not, no support, no custom roms, no updates because this phone has a small user base and was only launch in singapore.. recently the new galaxy beam is launch..
anyways, i rooted my phone several months ago, was fun OC the phone and other rooted apps, my phone was stable with a 1ghz OC for several months.. so a few days ago since i had nothing better to do, i had an app called vmheap, the heap size was set to 48mb if im not mistaken, so i tried lowering the settings to 24mb(android default) just to see if there was any improvement and the phone was less sluggish, i tested this for a few days.. so than i tried to lower it to 16mb and BOOM, my phone is into a boot loop, it restarts every time and Im not able to go to the vmheap app because it reboots and soon as i hit it, the notification bar, the home button, menu, the back button does not work. The recovery buttons does not work for this phone, i tried many key combinations and i only managed to get to the download mode... So I was not so worried, because I have some experience in flashing roms, ive updated my galaxy s2 rom twice with no errors..
So i decided to flash my rom with odin, i followed this guide here in youtube
youtube.c om/watch?v=nCpNh0adYpg
and use this rom
androidadvices.com/update-samsung-galaxy-beam-i8520-dxji1-21-firmware/
odin detects my phone and turns yellow, i click start and dam im stuck in setupconnection...
I tried so many ways,
start odin first, unplug battery, plug in battery while holding the download mode key combination, different cable, different pc, antivirus, firewall off, installed kies, uninstall kies, end task kies in system tray.. i tried every possible way for 50 times, and i never had this problem with my galaxy s2..
i even installed abd and i was wondering is it possible to mouth the sd card and obtain the build.prop while in download mode? i am unable to get it done because of the boot loop..
so please anyone give me some advice.. i bought this phone on a different country(singapore) and there is no service centre here where i live in malaysia that supports this model..
im just wondering how do i fix the odin problem when i get stuck in setupconnection...
bump.. need urgent help here guys

Well the topic is of 2012 but the subject sounds to be about the old galaxy beam.
Posting here only to people who can be confused.
Will help a lot in the future if people use old and new about this phone since are only two versions until now.
Hey guys!
First off, i was searching through loads of forums and attempted different solutions. Anything to get it back working. This only made it worse
What happened was as follows:
After having CM 10.1 or some version of it (had the OS at 4.3 i believe), my phone was very slow, so slow in fact that i got so mad at it that i almost bit through it. So one day when i was in a tent at the foot of a mountain all alone (not that long ago) i decided to rollback the phone to its original state from backup i made some months ago before i upgraded the OS. At the same time just before this i backed up the current build just in case. Using ClockWorkMod 3pointsomething.
It went through everything and then asked me: Do you want to root this device? (or something in those lines). I, having no clue, clicked one of the million "no" on the screen.
After this it rebooted with errors saying "Can't detect this drive can't detect that drive". In other words, it couldn't detect niether Internal SD nor External SD. While having the Samsung logo being displayed without booting if i didn't go into "Volume Up, Menu Key and Start your tiny engines!".
I thought i could fix it and looked through tremendous amount of internets in attempt to fix it. Neither Odin nor Heimdall Frontend could detect the device even after installing the drivers and samsung kies and messing about with those two in between.
After a while i ended up with "Phone . . ! in a orange triangle . . PC" aka black screen of death, while the phone can go into download mode. Which in my hand is equally useless as no program can detect it still.
Now i just decided to start a new thread even though there is endless amount of other threads but none seem to cover exactly this as i haven't yet managed to fix it. Plus a response on progress is always pleasant as i personally don't know when i succeed unless phone works fully again.
How bad off am i?
Any input will be greatly appreciated! :victory:
Hoping not to have to spend money on a new one and as far as i've gathered this can be solved - Anybody can give me some tips on where to look or what i could try?

First you are posting in the wrong location as i9000 has its own forum here for Q&A and others too
second click on My Android Solutions (link below) and try methods to fix USB connection problems first after that get into download mode and use a rescue kit from MY Android Collections (link below) or follow this to flash a Gingerbread JVU stock ROM
Check this out! You , YES! you are an " Android ". Not your phone but U.
I've been using my THL T11 for two months on Android 4.4.2 and it restarted 2 or 3 times every day. Also, each time it restarted, all my widgets disappeared. Few days ago, when I installed the Google Keyboard it restarted again but this time the android UI got broken, but I could hear all the sounds (low battery, new messages) and even I was able to turn on the torch. I decided to flash it with a new CWM Recovery and install a new ROM, which is an edited version from the latest official ROM with some issues fixed.
Some issues were fixed indeed, but the phone randomly restarted again several times. Each time the phone restarts (either voluntarily or unwittingly) some of my settings or preferences are gone and set by default. For example, each time I open an url, it asks me which internet browser I want to set as default. The same happens when I open photos, videos, launcher, keyboard, etc.
On the other hand, each time I plug the phone to the computer as USB storage device, the phone restarts immediately. But if I plug it as Media storage or Only charge, it works fine. I googled this issue and it comes that it must be some app installed on the SD card that crashes, but I can't find out which app causes this. It also restarts automatically undefinitelly , but by the time being I have to find the reason yet.
So, can anyone give me some help with these two issues?
Thanks in advance
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately I can't find anything relating to your query on XDA, but a quick search allowed me to find this thread:
ThL T11 Smartphone MTK6592 2GB 16GB 5.0 Inch FHD Gorilla Glass 8MP camera
It might be a good idea to ask your question there to see if anyone else with this phone is having the same issue, or knows how to fix it.
Good luck!
Thread closed, thanks.
A while a go I have bought my girlfriend a Jiayu G4 for her birthday but it has constantly problems like freezing while using, not responding in sleep mode (both are only solvable by getting the battery out and restart it that way), deleting things off the SD card, apps not working correctly etc.
I have tried 5-6 different roms from Needrom and the problems didn't go away but with every rom I experience other troubles with the phone. So it depends on te rom which of the named problems occur. I have also tried 3 different SD cars with no succes and I'm about to give up on the phone.
I wanted to know if you guys have things I could ccheck or the sollution for me.
Thanks!

For the purpose of troubleshooting, I would root the device and install Logcat Xtreme and Bootlog Uptime. Run them once to set then up first. You can always un-root after troubleshooting if desired.
If you can re-create the freezing, use Logcat Xtreme to capture the log of the failure snd submit it in the ROM thread for your device.
Boot log uptime will allow you to export the kernel last_kmsg, Also for submitting in the ROM thread for your device.
Investigate whether the system and data partitions are full or close to it as well. That can cause all kinds of issues.

Hey folks! Good to see yall again. Been a few years for me since I've had anything to contribute here.
This thread is meant to describe a problem.
So here's the scoop:
While trying to get a GPS spoofer to work, I happened down the inevitable must-root-path. Starting with a first gen ipod touch with a dope Halo theme, to my palm pre through my two samsung phones htc evo4g etc lmao its been a ride.
Seems like things have gotten slightly more challenging (or I've gotten too old to consider mundane crap easy....)
SO! TWRP loaded through adb+fastboot, then magisk patched current android 10 firmware.
Was that my issue? That's my guess.
Through the night I was trying to get a gps spoofer to copy to /system/priv-app/ and was struggling like hell. Plenty of reboots, plenty of uninstalling apps, etc. The last inputs I was trying to figure out are included in this album here
now i'm stuck in a bootloop that first starts at bootloader, then to google logo, then restarts, bootloader > google logo > bootloader > google loader
Please help!
I know the folks here are passionate and very helpful, if you need further info I will reply during after-blue-collar-work hours PST during the week.
I have tried to load in to fastboot, but can't connect to phone from adb without first enabling ptp or filesharing
Fixed, help no longer needed
