so I have an xperia E4g which is an unlocked sim one and I want to downgrade it to previous firmware so I can root it (cause the latest fw is unrootable)
so I started xperifirm and navigated to the xperia E4g section and all those fws showed up so can anyone explain what the market and operator columns mean?
and what happens if I flashed that sevice exchange unit fw?
see the pic in the attachments.

Wrong section. Please follow the instructions given in the General section about flashing a stock rom and about the different ftf's present. you can find the type of firmware you want in the general section. Please post your questions in the question and answers forum.

Hi. Im new here (and a newb at this rooting/downgrading stuff).
So I've been wanting to root my HTC Desire Z (running GingerBread) and downgrading to a exploitable firmware is required for its rooting process. But all the links for downloading the 1.34.xxx firmware arent working.
Here's some places which had the firmware links from where i tried to download it but it just says 'webpage not available'

Any help please. Thankyou
Hi,
Read the last post in the XDA thread you linked. There's a link there by a member... Not sure if it's what you're after. You can ask in that thread too. Or you can ask in your devices Q&A section,

Good luck!

Bookmark that page and make sure you subscribe to that forum, within it you'll find all relevant information for your device. These threads in particular would be a really good place to start:
[INFO] ALL You Need To Know About Owning A Xperia*Z2

If you have any questions in future you'll find your device-specific q&a section here:
Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Make sure you perform a search before creating a thread though because most likely someone else has already asked (and had answered) whatever question it is you want to ask. That's the beauty of XDA, information at your fingertips!
Best of luck with your device.

Hi!I am using this Sony Xperia Z1 C6902. I have already rooted it with Kingroot and also have unlocked the bootloader. Now when I refer to various tutorials to flash custom recoveries like the dual recovery, I found out that those tutorials are meant for some other build ( e.g. .585).
So my question is...how can i flash the dual recovery if i have the above mentioned pre-requisities already available on my phone (the underlined ones) ?
Also could i get the method to flash Xposed framework after flashing the custom recovery ?
Please help me as soon as possible !

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Sony Xperia Z1 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1 which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!
EDIT: Member has now posted in the suggested area. Thread closed.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
You must be referencing this thread:
> General discussion > Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking > [ROOT] Xperia E4g & E4
Please create an account (so you can post in other forums), if you haven't already, and then add a post to that thread, noting the Android version you have (sounds like 5.1.1).
Hope this helps, and good luck!
