Okay so I'm pretty new to the whole forums thing so please bare with me a bit. I flashed CloudyG2 3.1 and wanted to do a a factory reset so that I could start anew but whenever I tried doing so it would fail and lead me to TWRP. So I tried doing the format through there and then that's when I believe it even deleted my OS. Now the only thing it does is sit at the LG boot logo while the notification light slowly flashes blue and green. I can still go into TWRP but am unable to go into download mode. I've tried sideloading but whenever I connect my phone to a pc (I've tried multiple cables and pc's) I get a message that says "The last USB device you connected to this computer was malfunctioned". I went to get my port replaced and they said the screen stopped working so they put in my old one. I don't know if I should just get the port switched to the new one and try to flash it and pray the screen turns on afterwards or is there a way to get this USB to work. Any advice would help a lot! Thank you!
Hello Everyone,
I have been trying to help my friend with his soft-bricked G3. He wasn't rooted and had never even played with flashing anything, it just stopped booting one day and would display the "LG Life's Good" boot screen for a few seconds before going black and then just repeating this endlessly. I was able to get into recovery and download mode so I used the tot method to flash back to stock after a hard reset just produced the same results.
When I flashed the stock firmware, everything appeared to work fine, it went through the MiniOS bootup and everything, said success, gave me the hard reset status screen so when it finished I pulled the battery as instructed and rebooted but the phone still has the same issue. I have tried to run factory reset through recovery now that I flashed the new firmware and it still does the same thing, just hangs at the boot screen for a few seconds before going black and then trying again, endlessly.
Has anyone encountered this before? Is it bricked?
Thanks.

Pretty common prob plug it in to the wall charge see if it boots sometimes it still wont but most of the time it will the battery quality on the g3 is crap they last at most a year with a few exceptions i would first order a battery.
Hi
I've searched for threads with the same issue but can't find any. I turned my M8 box on this evening and it was stuck in a bootloop. after searching online I found out there is a reset button in the av port so i've done a factory reset. The only problem is it gets stuck when trying to boot back up again. with the little android guy and a warning to not power off. it's been like this for well over an hour at this stage. I was going to try and flash a custom rom. but my SD card slot is broken. is there any way to flash a custom rom to this box using a usb drive? Or is the box just a paper weight at this stage? Any suggestions you might have are more than welcome
thank you in advance
Hi Guys,
So the issue seems to be straightforward and I read many threads about it, but none of them actually solve my problem.
My S6 is locked to Orange Poland (which is currently running 6.0.1 Android). I wanted to flash unbranded Marshmallow rom but that did not go well and in the process of flashing Odin returned an error (Complete(Write) operation failed). That's the way my phone became bricked. I tried to reflash this rom several times (while changing ODIN versions and also I tried single AP as well as 4 files + PIT). None of this worked. So I decided to go back to the branded rom—exactly the same as it was before.
Odin this time didn't show any fail messages and the phone actually started booting up. And here is my problem, it is stuck on the Samsung logo. I tried going to recovery mode, wipe cache and then factory reset but it still cannot go through Samsung logo.
My phone was never rooted. I have up to date samsung usb drivers. I tried SmartSwitch but it fails to recover the phone every time.
Do you kind people have any ideas?
Hi again,
Just a quick update from me. I finally managed to revive my phone. It seems that the bootloop was caused by the low battery (actually 0%, while being connected to PC). Once I charged the phone to 100%, it miraculously booted up and went to the setup wizard. I have no idea if the low battery had an effect on it, but once I charged it, the phone started to work properly.
In the end, I flashed back the stock rom with Orange Poland brand. The rom consisted of 4 files + PIT file. I used Odin3_v3.12.3.
Maybe this will help someone

Thats why you should always charge your phone to at least 70% before doing any flash :good:
Hi guys,
Hope someone can give me some light about diagnosing flash memo device hardware damage.
I have an OnePlus 6 A6003 that entered for sudden in CrashDump Mode. It stopped to run the OS, although the bootloader mode still worked.
Guided by some tutorials I tried to unlock trough fastboot and adb in CMD panel without success in unlocking the device.
After that, I started trying Msm Downloading tool to flash a Oxygen firmware and make it brand new. I couldn't.
The process stopped somehow in the middle of downloading to system_a. I lost hope big time here and went to SMT flashing. The tutorial advised that i could lose IMEI if i did not backed up my EFS. I didn't, but i figured i could use some downloaded backup and change my IMEI back to original, as I have the original box and data of the phone. I did it and the process of flashing the device stopped the same spot it did before.
From there I repeated the process in loop until finally I got it done. Once the original oxygen firmware was succefully flashed I was happy, till i discovered the phone still doesn't turn on. it always blurs the initial logo screen after some seconds and freezes.
At this point I think there is some hardware problem at the flashdrive device. Anyone have any idea if this still can be a software problem or can assure me how i could definitly diagnose it?
I 'd be thankful with any help.
