Best rear glass skin CLEAR - Note 7 Accessories

Hey. Got the coral blue and honestly don't want to put a color or leather on this one like I normally do. I'd rather have something translucent, maybe matte and grippy for the rear glass only.
I've really only seen the Zaag HDX invisisheild on my s7 and really liked it but it isn't out yet. Does anyone know of others or how grippy the skinomi matte is?
Fyi I have no intention if putting a screen protector on the front because I'm a man and identify as such.

Something like this?
Friend had a Spigen Crystal case for their S7 Edge, looked really good but I don't think I every handled it so can't tell you about grip.

How about this? Can't really go wrong for the price! I have one on my OnePlus 3 now, and it's pretty grippy! I've also order this one from Orzly and already received it!

This is always my go to case, but i also ordered this one since I got black oynx... https://www.amazon.com/Ringke-Prote...+For+Samsung+Galaxy+Note+7+2016+-+Smoke+Black

I have had the ringke and the spigens and both are solid cases. I am looking for a simple stick on skin. I don't love cases on phone since phone design has gotten to perfection levels. It just feels so much better.

Since it seems like the rest of the posters have missed your whole point, I'll actually answer the question. I've used the Skinomi matte before (on a Note 5) and the regular Skinomi (on an S7 edge). It's pretty grippy. Certainly better than the glass or a plastic case.
That being said, Skinomi has some terrible shipping date like September 30th, so I opted for IQ Shield this time. It shipped out the day after I ordered.
http://www.iqshield.com/iq25907-matte-samsung-galaxy-note-7-edge-phone-skin-protector.html
I scratched the **** out of my S5 screen back in the day when I went sans protector, so I opted for a regular front and a matte back, regardless of my gender.

Easyacc for my Coral Blue
Yeah I wanted clear too for the coral blue. Going to be nice upgrade from my HTC One M8! I ordered one of these, will have to see if it's any good:

It was on the product listing last week - it said something like "Shipping 9/30". It's possible they have adjusted that now.

Confirmed that it shipped. Maybe it's because I went matte but it's out.

Funny, that came live today. I usually use them for natural leather but the coral Blue phone is just too dope to put anything over it.

Can you post if you get it. Slickwraps looks best to me, the other one looks like it gets that weird orange peel look on it. I may end up getting it too to keep the back safe and the metal frame safe. I'll probably do tempered glass for front

Sorry for being late to the conversation. I order this case in black for my Note 7. I had the same case in Gold for my S6 Edge+. Offers very good protection on the edges. Actually dropped mine a few times and survived without a scratch. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GIUIC9G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Looks like a great case. Does the clear backing get scratched over time?

i always use skinomi
There great and since the phone is waterproof install is easy and no worry.
They go on like tint and hold pretty good on the curves.
I used one on my note edge, s7edge and order one for the note 7.

Its a silicone feeling material and really flexible. I had the one on my S6 Edge+ since the day the phone launched and it didnt scratch at all. Not even when I dropped it and had it in the same pocket as my keys.

I am really intrested in this special coating spray, could you tell me how it compares to a screen protector in terms of protection and feel to the hand.
Because I am realy fed up with screen protectors so I would like to give this a try. Can you use it and, not even need a case afterwards?
Thanks in advance,
Is there something that holds the cover closed?

I was once in your shoes. I hated using screen protector. Depending on the brand. Some will have an orange peel effect. Others will have a harder time getting all the bubbles out. I've tried all major brand. Was never satisfied. It always looked like I have a screen protector. Some weren't as smooth to the touch and felt like there was some drag when swiping. But with this liquid armor, you spray twice on the micro fiber cloth supplied and apply to the phones screen and back glass. Wait ten minutes to dry before use. It take about 24hrs to fully cure. The screen feels smooth and responsive just like it would be without a screen protector. I would always recommend to at least have a bumper if you don't want a full case. This product will protect the screen not the phone.

The way the case is made is that there's a little ridge that makes the case flap close perfectly with the rest of the phone. There's no magnets or clicks. I'll try to take a close up picture of that.
Nothing holds the flap. But that seems okay for me, my pocket hold the flap.
As for charging, my lg wireless charger works with this case.
Also, it's not leather... Good fake leather.

Ghost Armor Impressions

I've had my Nexus for less than a week now and I'm absolutely loving it, I think it looks great and I don't want to cover any of it up with a cheap looking case. The gorilla glass had me thinking I could leave the Nexus naked, well I was wrong. After only 3 days I somehow managed to accumulate multiple fine scratches on the back panel above the "Nexus" branding. I love the look and more importantly the feel of the phone that I won't even consider the official bumper so I decided to try the Ghost Armor protection.
The "full body" protection cost me $45 installed at my local mall. Installation took 30 minutes and I had to leave my Nexus with them for that time (scary I know). I was told that if I have any issues within the first week I can come back and get it fixed, after that its always $5 replace the front or back protectors if they peel, get scratched, etc...
Compared to the Zagg invisible shield I had on my Nexus S this is much better. For one the Zagg was "rubbery," had "orange peel," and the edges of the protector were visible (I think because the Zagg is thicker).
What I like about the Ghost Armor is that the front and back of the device the protectors are practically invisible. I feel like I have a much better grip on the phone. More importantly the phone doesn't slide around on tables anymore (i've already had it slide off my nightstand and desk). Also the phone attracts much less fingerprints/grease and that is a huge plus in my opinion!
What I don't like about the Ghost Armor. The multiple pieces that protect the sides of the device are just ugly, the protector gives the matte finish a glossy look that I hate. Even worse, every corner has a good 5mm gap that is unprotected, this I can't understand when corner drops are so common. As a result I am considering removing all the side protection. Also, after installation the phone cannot be put in tight pockets similar spaces until the protectors have settled and all the air bubbles dissipated so for the first 24H you really have to baby the phone. Lastly, the screen protector does not wrap extend to the tapered edges of the glass, edge swiping still works great but you can feel the protector.
Overall I am satisfied with the Ghost Armor. If you are like me and enjoy a "caseless" phone I highly recommend it. Let me know what you are using and how satisfied you are with it, also if you've got any questions.

So the crystal clear has no orange peel? And and how easy is it to clean fingerprints? I'm using BSE and it barely attracts fingerprints if at all but it has a rubbery feel to it. I just want a crystal clear protector with no fingerprints . Pictures are too small on my phone sorry. Also someone mentioned the matte, how clear is that? Yes crystal clear and no orange peel. It is very slightly rubbery but my fingers slide over it just fine.
It is not fingerprint proof, but slightly better than without the protectors. I also did not clean the screen before I took those pictures.

Basically this:
I have the screen protector on mine in conjunction with the ringke slim. I like that it doesn't cover the curved edge or else the case will lift the protector. I had a ghost armor protector on my s3 and my galaxy Nexus and loved them. Doesn't have that bad of an orange peel effect and feels great.

Based on your review, I took a chance with it. There was a very small price drop on it, so I ended up paying $40+sales tax. Really like it better than the Zagg. They didn't take a long time to install it. No orange peel. Not too rubbery. It does take about an hour or two for the air bubble to dissipate. But once the time passes, it's clear.
They do sell them without installation so it should be cheaper that way. I am way too chicken to try to install it so I pay for the extra bling bling.
Now I have my Nexus 4 with the Ghost Armor and Poetic Bumper case. :good:
I too got this and I must say it was worth the money. Expensive but it looks crystal clear and attracts a lot less prints then dry protectors. Plus you can't go wrong with the lifetime warranty

Spigen Neo Hybrid worth it?

I saw the Spigen Neo Hybrid case for the Galaxy S4. I read that there were some issues with previous versions of it for the S3. I was just wondering since some of you guys have one... Does it protect well? It just seems that it wouldn't protect the phone well enough. Also are the buttons too sensitive?
How does it feel? Is the back of the case have more of a plastic feel or rubbery feel to it? And is it worth the $30?
One more thing... I read that tempered glass screen protectors are good. I saw that they were about $30 and I don't really know. Are the normal plastic ones okay?
Thanks.

Could you explain why?
I had the yellow neo hybrid case and returned it to amazon after ten days. The auxiliary cord in my car wouldn't fit, it was rather blocky feeling in my hand (I'm a male with normal sized hands). The main thing that made me return it was the chipping of the glossy coat after ten days, and I have NEVER misused or dropped my phone.
It looks awesome, however.
I decided to just get UAG, probably going to be better for my needs than the neo hybrid was.

I have it and I hate it (especially for $30)
Buttons are extremely easy to push. Whenever I am taking it out of my pocket (business slacks) I always end up pressing buttons. It makes the phone uncomfortable to use. I kind of got used to it but after switching to a tpu case that has rounded corners you don't miss the neo hybrid in your hands. The back feels like matte rubber not grippy at all. I never dropped my phone in this case so don't know how it would hold up. The incompatibility with most micro usb cables pissed me off too.
With that said it does look good I actually had a few people ask what kind of phone that was and complimented the case. I like having my phone feel safe in my hand more than looks I suppose so I haven't used it in a few weeks
Ive had it in my cart for a few days now and cant decide if I should get it or not, 30 bucks isnt too bad but I already paid that for my sview case and I dont want to have one or the other laying around but man it looks nice as hell
absolutely love mine. I use it with the Glast.r (however you spell it lol, it's late) and one of their aluminum home button pieces. Such a nice setup imo.

got it and i love it also got a cheap knockoff on ebay from china for cheap but the quality isnt there although it works. The Spigen works great if your looking for a cool protective case for your S4.
obviously if you drop it from a few stories it might not protect your phone as a otterbox but you get style and just everyday protection. You have to ask yourself what kinda protection you want for your new device and how prone you are abusing it.
I love mine cause the buttons are easier to press and it adds a certain weight to the phone I thought the s4 was too light. Plus the jellybean buttons feel awesome. Only thing though makes it look like an iPhone! Ain't nobody got time to be an iSheep!

i have both a slim armor and neo hybrid. imo the neo hybrid with a tempered glass solution (mine is MIME) and an aluminum button is pure class. i thought i'd switch between the two cases but I have a feeling my slim armor is just gonna sit around and not get used
Looks and build quality wise the Sgp Neo Hybrid is stunning - no excess material anywhere and an excellent fit. But ergonomics and protection wise it is not so good. There is barely any lip to speak of and the main camera lens is only about 1mm away from the surface you place your phone on. The squared off design also makes the phone uncomfortable to hold. I have slung mine in a drawer and am using a UAG case which although not finished as well seems much better for protection. I do not think the Sgp case is worth 30 dollars when you can pick up a UAG case (including a screen protector) for only 5 dollars more.

I went with the Metal blue color for the outer ring. As a bonus, Spigen threw in 3 screen protectors for free! The screen protectors alone retail for $9.99 so its a nice freebie.
Now, I just need the S5 to get here.

All the colors I want for that case are not available yet
I really wish they made a version with a black ring around it.
Can you let me what material the ring around the phone is? I can't tell if it's plastic or some sort of metal.
I just picked up the same screen protectors as well as the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case

Hello,
The ring around the phone is some sort of super hard plastic. Its quite rigid. The Metal slate color I received is very dark, and as close to black as I'll get.

Can anyone comment on how easy it is to open the charging door cover with the case on? Also, does the phone with wireless charging back still fit in the case?

more photos when you've got the phone in please if you could. I've been thinking about getting one of these cases myself.
The Neo makes galays look huge.

I got the Spigen Tough Armor for s5 (which I love, super protective and the gunmetal one is gorgeous). It looks like these two cases have the same battery door cutoit, so I can say that it is tricky to get the battery door open for sure. If you don't have nails expect to have a little difficulty until you get the hang of it. That's the only qualm I have about it though.

I still think they are way over priced. You can get a much better case for the money.
I just received mine in Dante red. By far the best and most quality case I've seen so far. So happy

it is a little more difficult but the quality of the case outweighs that
I got mine too. Unboxing and first look video on my youtube channel
Seems far bulkier than the one for the iPhone 5 which is a bit of a shame.
Still a nice case tho
I bought this case also.. not so much impressed with it. It feels nice but a few things I don't like:
- It extends the phone out to the sides, typing and using the screen is more cumbersome as you hit the edge of that case that are higher then the screen. In other words the screen is not flush with the case. They did this to protect the screen if you lay the phone down.
- Getting the charge port to open is a pain in the neck -- very hard
- Makes the phone much wider then it is.
I also got the S-View case from Samsung and it's OK but flap won't stay closed all the way which sucks.

DBrand skins - Show Em Off!

Hey guys, I've never been much into skins on any device until earlier this year when I got my first Sammy, the S7 Edge. I loved how nice the glass front and back, but the glass back also became an annoyance as it left every bit of evidence of usage, big smudges from my fat fingers all over. (Well that's what my Fiance calls them, but whatever ) Anyways, from that point I figured, hey, wtf not try a skin, it won't add much (noticeable anyways) bulk to the device and kind of makes it unique!
I've tried skins from two companies, DBrand and SlickWraps. I love how great the customer service and especially the quality of product of those from DBrand are. I won't even talk about the ones from SlickWraps... Just, No...
Now we have the Galaxy Note 7, a very beautiful device with the same beautiful fingerprint magnet of a back. I was on DBrands site ready to purchase my usual favorite, the matte black skin. Then I noticed while 'url hunting' that they have an XDA 2 for 1 pack. I ordered that mothasucka right away, cause why not? Anyways, I'm sure the link will be put out soon, but here it is: Galaxy Note 7 XDA Prime 2-Pack

[Carbon Black Skin]
More pics to come. I have the matte black already installed, which I'll post pics of soon.
Got a DBrand skin too? Post a pic showing them off!
*I'm in no way affiliated with dbrand skins in any way besides being a happy customer.
I am awaiting the arrival of my matte skin from DBrand as well. In your previous experience, how did the matte skin feel? Did it add any grip at all? I used the fake leather skin on my Note 5, and while I loved the look and durability..it was VERY slick. Unless your hands were sweaty/wet the phone would slide right out. I was hoping the matte would be different, but I'm not sure why it would be?

In previous experiences with dbrands skins, the matte has always been of better quality than the competition. It definitely added some grip and definitely kept the fingerprints away. Which skin brand did you have previously?

It was the DBrand skin, but it was the faux leather. Great quality, just very slick.
I'm sure that Dbrand skins are awesome. I just don't understand why there are no cut-outs in the skin for the brand name. Nexus 5X skins have that. Hell, there's even an option to buy a coloured 'X' for Nexus.
If they had a Samsung cut-out in Note 7's back skin, I would have bought it right away.
I ordered one on sunday and it's still processing. Any idea if the skin is waterproof?

I can guess why and be pretty sure. The Samsung is far too small, the cuts would look messy, untidy and would be difficult to install......and they didn't want to compromise the quality of their product.
I use slickskin
ordered mine last week and no shipping conf =( wish I had seen this deal tho! =(

Did yours come with a camera skin? Mine didn't. Previous ones did. Kinda bummed about it.
