So just out of the blue part of my screen stops responding to touch. Used a multi touch testing app and found a rather big dead spot. Any reason for the cause or just a toast digitizer?

pixels dead ?
Nope. The black area doesn't respond to touch at all. The lcd is fine and displays fine. Just a dead area in the digitizer

I had the same problem after replacing digitizer. It`s place where digitizer touches LCD. It shouldn`t touch, maybe you presed screen to strong try to press digitizer at the edges, do it few times, it will just disappear but remember, push only at black places, where there`s no LCD, only digitizer
I had that happen on my MyTouch 4g. It had gotten a piece of plastic stuck under the screen during a repair which was pushing the middle of the screen into the digitizer.

I dissambled my HTC Evo 3D because my display is not working correctly, the screen goes black randomly and if I press hard the left corner where is the home soft button the screen is working again. The trouble is with the conector between the motherboard and LCD diplay.I don't know how to reach this because my touchscreen is work perfectly and i don't want to remove it and melt the glue.is other way to reach it from the other side?.my question is how to fix it,I need a new display or I can change only the conector?

If you reboot the phone is it ther as it turns black and comes back up? If so it sounds like a hardware problem. If it's not always there, when does is appear? Is it there in safe mode?
You need to get it replaced if it doesn't dissapear. It may be the bonding agent which has not dried, in which case it may dissapear.......
Similar example on iPhone 4, I have seen this on some HTC One X's as well.

Hello everyone there is an xz premium that has these two spots I wanted to know if its pressure-related or panel is faulty and if it can kill the panel?
It's not visible in other colors (only on white)
can it be this part of the motherboard? (based on teardown video its very close)
