I had the same problem after replacing digitizer. It`s place where digitizer touches LCD. It shouldn`t touch, maybe you presed screen to strong try to press digitizer at the edges, do it few times, it will just disappear but remember, push only at black places, where there`s no LCD, only digitizer
I had that happen on my MyTouch 4g. It had gotten a piece of plastic stuck under the screen during a repair which was pushing the middle of the screen into the digitizer.

Hello!
My screen has a lot of cracks (but work normally) and i tried to replace it. But a new screen was defective and not working. Then i connect old screen to flex and there are white noise all over the screen.
Phone still working and moreover touchscreen is working too.
Is this problem with display or something else?
Hi,
got the sameproblem after screen replacement, did you solve the issue?
This guy says it's due to a broken flex connector, so could be that I damaged it during repair.

Any advice? Would like to avoid buying unnecessary parts for this old phone...

Hello! I found no solution. I ordered new screen and replaced the old one.
So just out of the blue part of my screen stops responding to touch. Used a multi touch testing app and found a rather big dead spot. Any reason for the cause or just a toast digitizer?

pixels dead ?
Nope. The black area doesn't respond to touch at all. The lcd is fine and displays fine. Just a dead area in the digitizer

Hello everyone there is an xz premium that has these two spots I wanted to know if its pressure-related or panel is faulty and if it can kill the panel?
It's not visible in other colors (only on white)
can it be this part of the motherboard? (based on teardown video its very close)
