Hello, I bought a new phone which has a 5V, 2A, 50/60Hz charger, but charger came broken and now I'm charging a phone with original Samsung S5 charger which has 5V, 1.55A, 50/60Hz.
The question is can I broke my phone battery if I charging it with less amperes ? It required 2A, but I charging only with 1.55A ?

Hey guys, I am planning to buy a new charger for my phone.
I am confused between 1A and 2A charger.
Will charging my phone with a 2A charger have any effect on the battery life, Heard from someone that the 2A charger will kill my battery, Is it true?
As the charger provided by motorola takes a lot of time to charge the battery to 100%, I thought of upgrading my charger.
Please advice!
My device is XT1033 (16GB dual sim)
thanking in advance:good:
The phone will only take the current it needs and can handle, so there won't be any damage to your battery.

Im using a 2A Gtiffin charger and my Moto G currently is doing fine.
i use 1A charger and no heat at back of my phone(or in battery).full charged keep me 1.5-2.5 days. so i will say 1A
2A charger will supply all that the phone needs, even under heavy use (i.e. it'll keep on charging instead of having the battery decrease while plugged in) and it has much better odds of working well with your next phone and the one after that.
Hello,
this question is for Nexus 4
I lost my charger but I have my 2amp charger. Can I charge with 2amp charger on regular basis? What problems may occur in the long time? Please suggest. thanks all
It's fine, your device only draws the amount it needs from the charger.

It is the phone that decides how much current to use, not the charger. A charger can limit the phone only if it is not able to supply enough current. If the phone is capable of charging at 1A, a 10A charger will only deliver 1A. The current ratings on chargers are for MAX current the charger is capable of.

Hello guys,
I need help with buying a new charger. I am thinking of buying a Samsung charger with an output of 9V/1.67A or 5V/2.0A. It's reasonably priced and comes with a type C cable so I just need to make sure that it's compatible with the phone. The charger model is EP-TA20EBE. I appreciate your help guys as there's only 1 piece left in the stock.

Thanks. But I was asking about that specific charger EP-TA20EBE and whether it will be significantly faster than the stock charger.
