Anyone been able to find the Incipio battery pack with wireless charging? - Moto Z Force Accessories

Ive been looking around, and the only place ive seen the incipio power pack is best buy...but not the wireless charging one. Moto's site has it intermittenly up for preorder, and it seems to be cheaper than best buy by like $20...
anyone have any luck?? i like the looks of the regular incipio one when compared to the Tumi, and the Kate Spade (for obvious reasons as a guy lol)..

I kept looking and looking for it and then the Tumi came out and I almost got that instead.... Then I decided that 90 + tax is a total ripoff for a small battery with a charging coil in it, so I'll wait until the prices come way down to where they should be ($40), and if they don't I will happily never buy either. What I think would be great is a moto back with a small charging coil in it, no battery, then we can have wireless charging and keep the phone thin.

I was able to get one from Moto for $70+ tax + 5 for shipping
Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Yea I'm just not ready to drop that kind of money on a tiny battery pack with a 5 cent copper charging coil hidden in it. They are gouging us right now because it's new. When the stuff doesn't sell, they will bring the prices down to where they should be.

It's annoying because Verizon only carries the Tumi and Kate Spade...which are $20 more...AND they say that the power packs don't qualify for my state employee 25% discount on accessories...
Beat Buy is the only place that I've been able to find the Incipio, but they only have the non-wireleaa charging pack, and have it over priced by $20

I purchased my mods from Verizon directly. Seemed to be the best option if you want to purchase 2 or more mods. They offer a 20% discount off of the 2nd and more mods you purchase.
I purchased the JBL speakers mod ($79.99) + the Tumi powerpak with wireless charging ($89.99), came to roughly $150 for both mods.
The Tumi powerpak mod has a solid brushed-metal feel and it looks awesome, just an FYI.

I picked up one on Amazon for way too much on a gift card. It's pretty great for only 2200 mAh on top of the already beefy zforce battery. Lasts all day even with heavy ingress and Pokemon go usage.
I need to find a wireless charging pad with decent charging output though

I talked to Moto about the Incipio pack I ordered and have not gotten and it sounds like they will be getting more this week so keep an eye on the website
Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I had the Tumi that I got when I bought my phone. It worked great but felt slippery in my hand. I returned it and went to best buy. They didn't have them marked with prices. I ended up getting it for 59+tax. It was the wireless one. The store employees had no idea what the price was supposed to be and decided to give it to me for the non wireless price. I wasn't going to argue.

charger for spare battery?

Has anyone found a spare battery charger? I'm looking for the type that plug right into 110th wall outlets and charge a loose separate battery.
Amazon has one for 13 dollars or so, I ordered mine last night.

I couldn't find any on a site that I trusted so I started looking everywhere and found a few different styles. Some of the docks looked promising but a quality one is around 38 bucks. The others looked like cheap junk but hey the prices started around 4 dollars. I decided not to risk putting my brand new studio battery in one of these cheapo battery charges but then I found one on boxwave. I had always trusted them in the past so I looked into it further and then noticed that the spare battery charger that boxwave was selling was the exact same 4 dollar charger being sold in eBay so I gave up and just bought the eBay charger.
That exact one (powergen) i ordered on Amazon a while back...it is great.
Can use it for li-on camera batteries (reason I purchased), but i realized that it can be used for cell phone batteries too!

I didn't realize that the charging pins were adjustable when I ordered it, its pretty cool it will fit almost any small device battery, I even used it last night to charge up an iPhone battery I had laying around. Most definitely worth the money! Some may be worried about how cheap it is, but realistically the chips to control amperage flow and switch to a trickle charge at 4.2 volts are old technology, and cheapo chinese stuff nowadays is more than good enough for a simple charging task. I also must say I'm impressed with the feel of it, it feels durable and sturdy.

Dock works well. It's easy to place phone on and take it off of the dock. There is also a power cord and separate USB connection so you can have the dock connected to a cpu and wall outlet at the same time. The backup batteries perform just as well as the OEM battery.

Discount on Official Samsung Accessories

FYI for those of you just shopping around for something to buy for your new GS4. I registered my GS4 on Samsung's website ( http://www.samsung.com/us/support/register/product ) and by doing so, you get a coupon for 50% off any accessory under $50. To my knowledge, there's no mention of it anywhere on the registration page, but I just got an email.
Of all the things under $50, the one that caught my eye was another 2600mAH battery (listed at $39.99). While steep and you can get 3rd party batteries for cheaper, the 50% brings it to $20. Not too shabby. Other stuff under $50 are bluetooth earpieces, flip covers (not S-version), and a couple chargers and even the Galaxy Multimedia Dock.
Fine print shows that shipping is $3.95 unless your order is over $49.99, which then it's free.
EDIT: Oh, the so called "Galaxy S 4 Spare Battery Charging System" for $49.99 includes a 2600mAH battery, so that might be a better buy than the battery itself because the case acts as a holder/case you can charge at the same time. 50% off means you'd get the case for a $5 difference than the regular battery after discount.

I just noticed that. I think though, you have to move your cart to backorder. What this does is reserve one for you (and they email you) when they actually do get them in stock. I just reserved that extra charger/battery and supposedly they'll email me when they have it in stock.

They don't charge you. There's no way for you to put your payment info. At least when I did it, it just sent me to a page saying my order was placed and when it arrives, i have an option to go to a special checkout page.
So I guess it's more of a "preorder" thing for 50% off.

With screens... You get what you pay for. I would highly suggest shopping around in the average price range that they are selling for. The nexus 6 screens are still around $140 to $150 and the phone is older. So it's a fair price.
Go too cheap, you get a crap product most times.

At the end of the day how do you truly know that anyone else doesn't source the screen from the same Chinese knockoff factory as just getting it directly from that same factory. There's another thread on sourcing batteries and it's the same problem. Claims of "oem" quickly disappear when you have product in hand....
What I WOULD like to know why the heck the 6p screens are so expensive. Even as eBay fakes or Aliexpress... The price hovers around $150
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Oh. We all know you won't get OEM. That's almost impossible. But... If it's less than let's say $125, I'll likely pass it up. (some circumstances may be involved to sway my decision) From my experience, cheap means cheap. I've always had better products going with products that sell for the average price or slightly above.
The reason they are expensive is because they are good products. Just because it's not OEM doesn't mean it's not good. Chinese doesn't mean bad product either. I wish people would drop that. They are one of the world's leaders in manufacturing technology. They can have decent stuff. And they do.
To touch on the battery thread. Most people shoot for those $10 batteries. Those are cheap and will perform like a cheap battery. But if you go for the ones in the mid 20s, you usually get much better quality and proper temperature sensing. Usually.
In the end, it's your choice. Are you willing to risk your device and possibly your safety by going the cheap route?and that's perfectly fine if you do. I've done it. Or are you willing to fork over a little more for a better chance at a more reliable products? I find that balance gives me the best results.

They replaced the screen and digitizer and replaced the aluminum while they were at it! Turnaround from shipping to receiving was exactly one week.

You need to call or chat with Huawei tech support and tell them you need to buy a screen replacement. Once you give them the details, they send you an email and a link where you can purchase the service. Once that's all done, they send you a label and you're ready to go.
i bought a cheap 5X screen to replace mine on my old phone after water damage, it ended up ruining my cell signal, dont cheap out.

That sounds more like the water damage you had ruined your cell signal. A few connectors in your phone probably started corroding.
I bought this one yesterday:

I find it ridiculous that most other screens of similar size are under 100 bucks off ebay but ours average at $150. Regardless if it's off ebay or Aliexpress or Amazon

For what it's worth the Huawei tech I talked to said that Huawei doesn't sell the OEM screens to anyone else. It seems sending the phone into Huawei is the best way to ensure an OEM-quality screen is installed.

I bought mine from eBay , 95€ and I'm good. Just a warning. The new screen doesn't come with the vibration motor nor the volume and power buttons. Be careful when removing those , my volume down cable broke , so I had to replace it , but I already had everything glued in. Took it to a repair store and they fixed it for 30€ , so yeh , be careful. Buttons cost 3$ or so , but the backglass often shatters when removed , so 10 more dollars for the back glass , plus the shipping , turns out to be pretty expensive. Careful. Also top earpiece is tricky to remove , is sealed with glue and everything pops out but it has a copper cable in it, if that rip off , you messed up. Careful with usb board , it has some contacts underneath , you got to do it perfectly , otherwise , no charging.
Best of luck boy ! Tell me the results at the end !
