[Completed] Hi, im new to this forum and i need emergency help! - XDA Assist

So i have an InFocus v5 m560 phone, and it had no google play or google services, and i installed the apks but google play opens to checking info, and then google services crash. every time.
so i tried to install an m808 rom which had gapps in the rom folder - zip. the phone was rooted previously, and i had TWRP recovery, i made a backup in internal storage then deleted system, data, cache and something else, like i saw in one video, and after i got error=7, i tried installing again with zip signature.
(the rom file is fine, i opened it with ES Explorer) but when i rebooted my phone its in bootloop, its just showing manufacturers logo and i cannot acces recovery cause it restarts. it can shut off though, i wasnt previously able to connect it to my pc but now i installed drivers so maybe it helps? if you need any more info on what i did please tell me, and help me fast please, thank you so much

[Completed] Unable to locate Clockworkmod Recovery backups when outside of recovery mode.

Hello,
tl;dr: My backups show up when in recovery mode but they are not recognised by Rom Manager nor can I find them using a file explorer.
Long story:
I wanted to try out a new rom so I backed up my phone via rom manager and downloaded it to my pc using the download to pc feature. I also backed up most of my apps using Helium. When I flashed the rom for some reason or another my Helium backups had disappeared so I wanted to restore my backup. It turned out the backup was also gone so I just adb pushed it back from my pc. I restored the backup but that resulted in a bootloop so I think it's a dud. I then flashed a full stock image and CWM and tried to restore only the data portion of the backup but it still made a boot loop. I flashed to stock again.
I now want to try and see if I can extract and restore individual apps from my backup using Nandroid Manager, hopefully this will get me my app data without a boot loop however my backups don't seem to be where I put them.
I pushed my backup to /data/media/clockworkmod/backup/<backupname> when in recovery mode. CWM recognises it as a backup.
Rom Manager does not recognise that it's there.
To test this, I made another backup from inside Rom Manager but even though it's recognised in CWM, Rom Manager still can't find it.
I checked out the /sdcard/clockworkmod directory in a file browser but the backups folder isn't there.
I can't restore my apps with Nandroid Manager if I can't give it the location so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Nexus 5 running Stock Android Lollipop with Clockworkmod 6.0.4.5 and Rom Manager 5.5.3.7
Hi,
I highly recommend uninstalling Rom Manager. It's been known to cause many issues, some serious too.

I restored some backups from my old phone (an Chinese one : Colorovo City Tone Vision). I restored Contact storage, Phone storage and some other apps. After I rebooted the phone an error pops up "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped". I tapped on "ok" and imediately it apeared again. I pressed ok again and still apeared again and again. I freaked out and i realised what I've done.. Then i delelted all app chache and rebooted the phone. Nthing changed. I entered in stock recovery mode ( i can't install cwm on my phone) and i whiped all data and cache. I rebooted the phone and nothing changed. The error dialogue is still there. I tryed to install Titanium Backup again to see what i can do but it didn't work because the error message poped up contiously. Even if i install the app from Magazine Play or from an apk file it doesn;t work. i have adb connection but not many commands are working. for example install.. What shoul I do? I knnow i dit something wrong..
Hi,
Yes, installing system files from a different devices is not a good idea. It is almost guaranteed you will have bad issues.
Unfortunately I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device, other than trying LG's site for your exact devices firmware. And flashing instructions.
If you have trouble or future questions/issues, This is where to ask for help with that device,

[Completed] [Q] Can't uninstall non-existing app nor reinstall it

So before I start telling my "story" I'd first like to warn you that this is really hard to explain for me so please don't be angry.
Yesterday I got myself a 32 GB Micro sdcard for my phone, previously I had a 8 GB one.
I had partitioned my old card so I could link apps to my sd card using Link2SD, so before using my new SD Card I first had to partition it.
After countless of hours I finally managed to partition it correctly with AParted. I had made a backup with CWM because I was told it would backup my 2nd partition aswell.
So I tried to use the advanced restore option in CWM to restore my apps that were linked. But this never worked.
This wasn't that big of a problem, the only thing I had to do is reinstall a couple of apps. Too bad for me my phone still thought the apps were there, while they WEREN'T.
Let's call these app "Ghost" apps to make it easy.
I found out that these "Ghost" apps could only be seen under the "apps" section under "storage". NO other app could see them.
When trying to reinstall a "Ghost" app via the play store or other sources my device said it has insufficient memory. For example I tried to reinstall soundcloud, but it said I had insufficient memory.
So I went to back to my apps and deleted the "Ghost" version of soundcloud. After I did this I was able to reinstall soundcloud. And this happened to all the apps.
Now here is where we meet our problem. I also linked the system apps GMail and Google Chrome to my old sd Card, so now they were "Ghosted" aswell.
But you can't uninstall system apps via the "apps" menu. This is where I got stuck, I literally tried almost EVERY system app remover/ file manager to try and remove the apps manually or via an app.
Now finally here is my question:
Is there any way for me to remove the "Ghost" Chrome and Gmail OR reinstall them via another way? I've searched on the internet for hours for a similar problem but couldn't find anyone.
I'm kind of new in the advanced Android world, but I do know a thing or two.
I hope you will be able to answer my Question!
Now here are some details:
Phone:
Samsung Xcover 2 (GT-S7710)
Rooted?:
Yes, my phone is rooted
Custom rom?:
No I'm running the stock version for now.
Ask me for more info if needed
Here are some screenshots from the "Ghost" apps:
Sorry I'm a new member, I can't post outside links. So I can't supply my screenshots via the forums for now
Hope this is enough information, Thanks in advance!
Please do Note I do not have GMail on my phone right now, so it might take me a bit longer to answer any questions or test possible solutions.

[Completed] [Q] can't boot device after formatting system

I tried to get rid of gapps on my Cyanogenmod Nexus 4. I was told that in order to do that, I need to /format system in CWM. I did this, but the device won't let me install the new Cyanogenmod ROM from /sdcard (I can select it, but it just says "Can't open" and "Installation aborted"). When opening up adb on my PC, adb says "device not found". The phone won't boot. What do I do?
Thanks
EDIT: Installed PdaNet drivers and now it was recognized on adb again. I sideloaded the new Cyanogenmod image (don't know if that's the proper way to do it) and then selected reboot in CWM, and it is starting into Cyanogenmod, but it only gets as far as "Optimizing apps" and when it's done, it just starts all over again. I would really appreciate some help on this, as I cannot use my phone currently.
EDIT again: After wiping all my data, I finally was able to get back into a newly installed Cyanogenmod.. To my surprise, even after /format system and wiping all my data, all of the Google apps are still installed on the device. Is there no way to get rid of them?

[Completed] Galaxy s GT-S7562

I've a problem with the GT-S7562. The device does an automatic reboot. The problem is that if I delete applications they will show up again after the reboot ( same apps, same files and same settings) every time I delete apps or files or change settings everything goes in vain once the device reboots. I've tried to do a hard reset and a recovery still doesn't change anything; same apps, same files and same settings. I've tried to flash a ROM; same result once the phone boots I'm still on the old ROM with the same apps, same files and same settings. What do you recommend?
Please I really need your help!
