Verizon Note 5 not chargin - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note5

https://youtu.be/JBT78XWcNqE
My N5 is no chargin with USB. Above is video of it. I used 3 diferent 5v 2a samsung chargers. The "fast charge" and the normal ones.
The green booble in the USB port only flickers and do not go up as in my note 4.
Any ideas?

USB charging

My N8013 charges fine from its wall charger. But when pluged into a 5v 2.1 amp battery pack, or into a computer USB port, I get the red X on the battery icon and it doesn't charge at all. What can I do to fix this?
You won't get it to indicate charging from the computer USB prot as it just doesn't give enough power. However, you can get it to go from the battery pack with the right lead or adaptor (my 8010 charges fine). Are you using a Samsung specific lead or adaptor? Amazon in the UK does these adaptors which tend to fix such charging issues - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B009ZQKMDA

Computer USB 2.0 port only supplying 500mA & USB 3.0 1000mA, so it can't charge our Note 10.1 (It actually charge but very slowly).
Battery pack, on the other hand, can....BUT it depends on the cable.
Most battery packs (that compatible with iphone/ipad) I tried wont charge our Note 10.1 as it has different Data PINs configuration.
I bought 1 battery pack that included a custom cable that can charge "all" device including our Note 10.1 & iPad, but it won't charge my Note 10.1 if I use my stock cable.
My stock cable is working when I use my stock charger.
Conclusion:
Try before you buy those battery packs

External charger

I have tried several non- Samsung chargers with my Tab S and found them very slow charging. These are good brands like Anker, not junk.
I notice that the charger says 5.3 volts at 2A. Most chargers are only 5V. I picked up a 5.3V Samsung charger and found it worked fine.
Anyone else had similar problems?
Many chargers put out over 5 volts while only listing 5 vols on them. I tested a bunch i had and about one third did.
cable
it's not the charger - it's the cable
in original cables there's a tiny electrical resistor - the phone detects it. if it's not there, the phone will only charge with 1 or 1.1 ampere.
some non-original cables seem to have this resistor too, as the work fine.
I will have to try to confirm this. It makes sense, but I thought I tried tye Samsung cable with the 5.0V adapter and got very slow charging.
Same here. Samsung 5V, 1A charger. Very very slow. No matter which cable I chose.
I'd expect a 14 charger to be slow. I ordered in some 5.3V Samsung chargers and Samsung cables and they do work very well. Still haven't had time to check in my 5.0V chargers with the Samsung cable to check. I thought it wasn't as good.
I've got an Anker 5 port charger that definitely doesn't work well with a coiled cable I got from Amazon.com.

Note4 Quick charger on other devices

I've always used my note3 charger on my note 10.1 without issues and I'm very disappointed to see that the quick charger that comes with my note4 doesn't charge my note10.1!
When it's connected the red cross on the battery pops up (this usually happens when a low power charger is used)
Does this happen to you too or have I a broken charger?

No problems for me. I am using it to charge my Sony tablet-z with no problems.

My Note 4 charger charges my Nexus 10 without issues.
The Note 4's charger works on my Note 10.1 2014 ed. It obviously doesn't fast charge my tablet though.
The charger is SUPPOSED to act as a 9V charger when connected to Fast Charge devices like the Note 4, but also act as a 5V charger for any other device. If the device can't use the full 5V (like a phone that only uses 2V or something), the device itself will only draw as much power as it can accept under 5V (2V for example).
If your charger isn't charging your Note 10.1, then the charger could be bad, or maybe even your tablet's charging port. If the tablet charges with other chargers, then I doubt it's the latter.

I get the same thing. I have a note 10.1 and using my note 4's adaptive charger with the note 10.1 charge cable I get the dreaded red x -- meaning super slow charge. All items are in perfect working order (doesn't happen with other 2 amp non-adaptive charging chargers).

So it's safe to charge my S4, Nexus 7 2012 and S2 with my Note 4 stock fast charger? I remember some guy making a thread that it fried his S4...I've been cautious ever since

Weird charging behavior - New cable

I just received an Aukey USB cable 2m in length from amazon after reading many positive reviews. For some reason when i plug in(Samsung Note 2 and Sony 1.5A adapter), the charging bolt comes for about 2seconds(measured 1900ma) and goes off. I keep it aside for about another 2~3mins, the charge bolt comes(for 2s) and goes off again - this goes on a loop. I tried connecting to another AC adapter(Sony 2A CP-AD2) with the Aukey cable, but experience the same issue. I tried connecting it with my brothers phone(being a Samsung Note 3), the charge bolt does show up(measuring 1800ma) but the charge level drained from 4% to 1% while using for about 5mins while plugged(like as though it wasn't plugged in).
Now comes the weirder part, i connect my Note2 with the same cable to my macbook, to my surprise the phone does charge(460ma) as well as data transfer too is possible. The charging is true this time because i didnt notice a drop in percentage. This has left me very confused on where the problem lies. Has this occurred to anyone?
ps. i have seen people on the comments say the cable works perfectly with an Aukey Charger. I dont suppose a sony charger would interfere with a third party cable
Hello,
We speak about the USB Typ C cables right? I also got the 5 cable bundle from Aukey at amazon (3x 1m, 1x 2m, 1x 0,3m). So far the cables work perfectly, I use one with an Nexus 5X charger, one with an HTC charger and one with a car charging adapter (all with the 1m cables). When I'm at home I can try to charge my phone with the 2m cable to check whether it shows the same behaviour as yours
Edit: checked also the 2m cable, phone charges normaly, did you get a bad cable?

Powerbank can't charge Samsung Galaxy S8 plus

Help! I bought a Qc3.0 xpower xp-pb6qc powerbank from electronic store last night.
http://xpower.com.hk/xpower-pb6qc-quick-charge-30-6000mah-power-bank
Connected it to my s8+, but the s8+ charges it instead of the other way round. I tried to select "tap for other USB options", followed by "charge this phone". But it doesn't work.
When I use it to charge my wife's Samsung S7 Edge (USB C from powerbank to micro USB on S7 Edge), it works fine with fast charging enabled.
Any bro can help?
