Hi guys,
I'm new to this site and I hope someone can help me out.
I'm using a galaxy s6 sm-g920f bought from UAE in India. Here there is a new network operator called Rjio started operation and I managed to get a sim. The problem is that they support only LTE network and Volte calls. I cannot make calls from my Sm-g920f.
I tried searching all over Internet and couldnt find a solution. I tried going to Phone>more>setting but couldnt find any volte setting.
Can someone here help me out??
I'm using the latest os and firmware.
Model : SM-G920F
Android Version: 6.0.1
Baseband version : G920FXXS4DPG6
anyways to activate volte??

The problem is with the firmware. Earlier some one had this problem and members told him to flash Indian firmware. So that the bands allotted shall work. So either you can wait for the reliance jio to add the devices or you can just simply flash the Indian firmware.
Thats the problem.. G920F model does not have an indian firmware. Indian firmware only available for G920I

So i bought this unlocked s6 g920f in switzerland but now i am in india using jio hiweber i want to use lte and volte but i dont have the option to do so can anyone help me

Can someone help me find any download source of this firmware,
Galaxy S6 DUOS, SM-G920FD
As I wanted to revert back to my unrooted + clean version of my phone when new update to Lollipop comes.
And if I feel to just reset everything, (sluggish/crawling) performance on my phone, a full flashing of stock firmware will be a good solution for me.
But unfortunately, from SamMobile firmware website, they do not have that kind of firmware on my phone.
Can you please, if any, share your firmware . Any help will be appreciated.

i have a duos version like u and i flashed the french version of SM920F rom for faster updates. confirmed dual sim still works

I can assure you that any countries with SM-G920F is compatible with all international s6 dual phones .
I already tested firmwares of SM-G920F from Afghanistan, France, Egypt etc. It works fine for our Dual Sim version( SM-G920F)
does OTA still works after you changed firmware with a different one from other region?
G920F and G920FD firmware compatibility
There is no compatibility between the stock firmware of s6 (G920F) and s6 duos (g920fd). I tried and messed up with my phone and now got stuck on bootloader.
i suggest you use Z3X to download the firmware for G920FD because till now there is no firmware support at sammobile. i got one from z3x support

Why must flash F variant rom? You need to look for unified S6 rom or rom specific your P variant.

Root your device and you can get hotspot app that can allow you to stream network ... And btw you cannot flash F rom to your P device

Im in iran too and i have that problem either,
I am working in samsung customers service in saftware, i have the :: Z3X Pro :: box,
There are 4 g920p that when we bought them, there was g920F on them and but the download mode was P,
So we hade problem and i flashed them with the P firmware,
After that it comes with a yellow sprint bootloader.....,
So heres the problem,
No wifi hotspot
And the worst one, is no 4G and 3G...,these G920Ps have mobile network only on GSM, not even the internert, even the network will gone....,
I have the same problemcthe G900P......,
So XDA..., can u please help me how to bring 4g or even the G920F on this phones???

Hi all, I am using sm-g290fq(same as g290f). I'm from Turkey and my brand(avea) supports VoLTE but there is no option for this in my phone. I want to use VoLTE on my phone.
1. How can I enable VoLTE?
2. If I can't, which country or rom support this option?
3. If there isn't what will I do for using VoLTE?

Lol volte activate by default when you switch to lte supported sim card you will get automatic volte icon and you are able to use voice over calling feature (volte) but relieance jio preview offer only for indian varrient so you can't use it atleast jio launch their service fully . They detact your varriet using imei no. If you want to use volte in other counties varrient need to wait some when jio servicr roll out for al devices :laugh: :laugh:

I am good to go with that....I want to change..pls give me the link of INU firmware...I want to use jio ...I have the offer..but only data work ing good..but can't call..I want volte..too...so pls give me the link of INU.... Like sm-g920F then search you need to select country choose india (INU) and download latest release firmware at top side flash All 4 file bootloader cp ap and css with odin and booooommmm you can use volte in indja :laugh: you can contact me on facebook for addition help www.facebook.com/attitudebreakers

I have gone to that site..I have entered my model number(SM G920F)..but in country their is no INDIA(INU) not showing..pls help....please help help me.
flash SM G920I latest firmware on your fone.... u will be able to use volte after that

no you will break your phone...you must flash only g920f for your phone and not g920i

sir, i as well have sm-920f. i also purchased from UAE as i stay here. however i am traveling to india soon and plan to get jio sim.
i read we need to install my jio apps to get the free sim. however its not happening for me . i dont get the app in playstore. after doing web access to play store i get msg the JIO app isn't available for my country. i just want to know how did you install the app ? where you in india with any other operator indian sim card (airtel, idea etc) ? or what was the process. pls pls let me know. i am curious cuz i dont option to install app and afraid i might not get the sim.
