Yea.. I recommended to use it for time being.. I can compromise video recording but not SOD

i couldn't test it for a long time as i am using AOSP-OMS build.. it would be great if someone tests and provide feedback.

Installed this ROM. Good Looking. Not Incredably smooth. Camera quality is good.

The last build with sensei kernel is super awesome except camera bug. Recently flashed 0.8, so I will flash again if 1.0 is released.
BTW Is nav bar issue fixed? Enabling soft keys is not disabling hardware keys. I used some workarounds but I am not satisfied with it.

Might be the new libaudio...
Hope to get this fixed soon, or we'd have to be reverting to older libaudio
I've got a report that a clean flash solves the "call audio" problem.
Proof:
Rom as it's beta 1....quite good... many small bugs to go as even mentioned in post #1...

you can install it using adb by:

Sorry For that not mentioning in the thread is that sweetner pack will not work for now Cuz it requires Twrp recovery
is boot.img flash required ? I am gonna use thunderzap

Hey..ROM is awaresome and stable..but I have problem...why u don't add sound tile in quick setting pannel..? And also u don't put sound option in power menu...
So plzzz tell me, how I can change sound mode... And plzzz don't say go to setting menu...sound option..etc etc...

Nice ROM! No lags faced till now and the battery backup is also good at stock frequency! <3 The ROM is Stable enough to be used as a daily driver, Well this much stability is in their first BETA build, Can't wait for more builds! Great Work by the team!

yup, problem google service can't connect and some camera applications is not working. ex: goolgle camera.

Introduction:
What is AOKP ?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.

FAQ:
1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:
3.) What to do if my SafetyNet is not passed ??
Update Magisk to latest beta version, tick Magisk Hide and enable usb debugging...

Neither of them is working
In my honor 6X camera doesn't work.. How fix this?
@HassanMirza01 Bro... When I install any rom for you such as Slimrom or omnirom or Los 14.1 the camera app is gone and the torch isn't work
But when I open settings ==> Apps
The camera app is there
What the problem??
I do every things correctly
I have stock vendor and format the data partition to ext4

Wow.. awesome. My favourite ROM. This and RR, in general, are my favourite and are neck to neck, aokp more stable and equal or more battery but RR leads in terms of customisation. I am not comparing these ROM for honor 6X but in general based on my earlier experience on honor 5X.

Issue is that ur vendor is conflicting with rom... That issue normally came when vendor is not correctly installed... I will soon post working vendor..

Better either restore the twrp or use dload for stock and then try this rom. Messing around with files may create more issues than fixing it

Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

I used Cardinal for a couple of weeks and it is a very nice, smooth and solid rom. Just for the fun of it I installed AOSiP today, and I must say: this is another great rom. Not much difference between the 2, but it looks like this rom is even smoother. If you also like dark themes, this one is for you!
