Might be the new libaudio...
Hope to get this fixed soon, or we'd have to be reverting to older libaudio
I've got a report that a clean flash solves the "call audio" problem.
Proof:

Call audio Bug fix
Download patch_callaudio.zip from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49483706&postcount=23
This should fix the "user at other end not able to hear your voice properly" bug
If it doesn't work, reboot once?
p.s. This *should* be flashable on all of my kitkat ROMs, but I need testers for them all.

this rom is pretty smooth n stable but has no customization at all dats sad
any way thankx bro for this rom

the icons of the launcher3 at the bottom is a little far from the icons on the screen。

What are the bugs in this rom???

Bootanimation specially made for our device, yay!
Many thanks to espen96 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=5250979) for making the new awesome PA bootanim, and resizing it for our device too
Here in attached is the bootanimation for our device, personally tested by me (not flashable, atm): View attachment 480p.zip
you can install it using adb by:
Code:
adb shell su -c 'mount -o rw,remount /system'
adb push 480p.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip
adb shell chmod 755 /system/media/bootanimation.zip
adb shell reboot (optional, in case you want to view animation :) )
This would be the bootanim by default, in future builds (if PA doesn't make a better bootanim, ofc)

No offence buddy, but that was meant for the OP (blindndumb), the dev maintaining this ROM, not for us general users. He decided not to use the CM9 fix and is sticking with the AOKP camera for now. Forget about it for now. Fixes will be added as and when feasible.
Cheers.

Nice. I beta tested this on Nexus 7 and i727 skyrocket. Time to test on another device!
Hope you update it more often than the Skyrocket (or S3?) ROM that everyone donated towards the bounty on. The ROm that got updated like once in six months. No vibration during that whole time.
can we use with safestrap
Ok, so I have the at&t i337 rooted and recently installed safestrap as my recovery because I'm on MF3. The only way you can use a rom with safestrap is to use a TW rom and flash a MF3 kernal after flashing that rom. Will this rom ever be a possibility or does the Collective have one based on TW? Hopefully someday we get our bootloader unlocked and are able to flash any rom we please.

Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonDev GitHub.
We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.
Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, PA, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!

First report from my side
Hi folx,
i have installed carbon rom and tried different things. The flashing works as it should - but during setting up the ROM i encountered a few stumbling blocks.
After installing calendar (why is it missing ?) i tried to put cLock Widget with calendar and weather feature , but cLock refused to show my calendar (maybe due to the missing app) and i have to wipe again + synchronise again and after a scond reboot it works as it should.
Running Walkman app i get strange stumbling sounds - after that i deleted dsp-manager and the special sony equalizer and after all that it works.
@ the moment i'm missing a lot of former features : Recent RAMbar; pie; vibrator strength is not working within Device tunalbe;
Performance Control is integrated in a clean manner and the overall fluidity is good, but compared to my experiences with the other KK ROMs (ADC-Team / M.O.W. ROM / Mokee) i would say it's a little slower. I have read a long time about the development in the carbon group on google+ . And there were a lot of problems mentioned during the last time - meanwhile it seems as if they have managed a turnaround and the basis was built . So the next developments from this team will also be very interesting.
A nice evening @ all and many THX @educk

OK, sorry for that, some complications occurred which caused the Camera app to FC.
Please push the attached Camera2.apk to /system/app/ (replacing the old one and giving proper permissions) as a workaround for this issue...
Code:
adb remount && adb push Camera2.apk /system/app/Camera2.apk
adb shell
chmod 644 /system/app/Camera2.apk
Hey, i also got camera FC in my MoKee rom (haven't publish yet, and soon)
If someone doesn't know how to use adb, you can flash this zip in recovery to fix camera FC :highfive:
hey where's the Gapps? Do I have to use DevCon-Gapps?

yes u can use the devcon gapps with this version and also the zordan gapps. but i think zordan gapps have faced some strange issues. i would recommend using the devcon gapps package.
No issue my side with zordan one.
Use gapps you prefer.

Hello Eric, I have installed your CarbonRom 4.4.2
It' very fine to work with
I installed your new camera and it worked.
But I have one serious issue.
When I take a link in tapatalk , the return doesn't go back to the beginning level, but one level higher. In SlimBean 4.3.1 it works.
Similar I had also errors with return back with chrome, sometimes it return one level higher, sometimes return level was forgotten.
Is that depending from carbon 4.4.2 (or cm11) or tapatalk ?
Is that an error in return-addresses from carbon/cm11 or tapatalk ?

Oh sorry, ya left side mode has force close issue.
Between, does this rom have low voice call issue? Coz i tried carbon and pac, both have low voice call issue and neither the volume slider increases or decreases the volume when on call.
